River Town

Seen a building that is made of many stone blocks, arranged quite high. The surface there is made up of small hills. The land is dominant sand, but the trees and grasses are still clearly visible. Windmills line up neatly on the banks of the longest river on the continent.

“We reached the river city!” lontar Leora's.

Passing the bridge, the heart of the city is full of the city's main vehicle, Patorani, a sailboat of various sizes. The ship crossed a very wide river with buildings lined on its side. A city I've only seen in my entire life, where people depend a lot on water transportation.

The train we were riding on passed a lot of bridges. As the name of this city, it turns out there are many rivers that spread here. I was tempted to surround this city. Compared to other passengers, it looks like we are very enthusiastic passengers to stick in the car window.

Our choice was to go to a place that looked like a tavern. The place seemed to be tight with guards on the outside. We got the information about this place after about an hour of chatting with the boatmen. We were told a password to be able to cross in.

Entering that place. Sure enough, it looks like people with clothes that are quite different from ordinary people. Looks like a boss and an important person. They sit at the table and enjoy drinks and food. I heard some conversation running through my ear.

Some of them noticed us stepping towards the lobby table. I feel uncomfortable because of it. Unlike the Zilei who remained cold in any situation. While talking to the waiter, Zilei spoke to him.

The servant took two keys but remained in his grasp. Then Zilei gave him some money.

“The room is indeed for a lowly person like you,” he replied while giving the two keys. Zilei picked it up with a slight bluff. Then we walked to the room downstairs.

We also occupied a room that separated men and women as usual. The room looked minimalist and very simple. More precisely just a table and two mattresses, while we had three people in this room.

“Tempati the mattress as you like,” said Zilei.

“I can sleep anywhere. Not picky like you guys,” reply.

I put my stuff in the room. If you pay attention again, the light only comes from the lamp, even then it is also dim.

It was time for dinner to arrive. We went to the front room upstairs. It's full of upper-class people. Actually this place is not too luxurious, but it seems like this place is preferred for their “dark” affairs.

Our dining table is separate from them. At the very corner of the room. The dishes I saw on the menu were nothing similar to their food.

“Do not expect your food to be the same as theirs,” said the waiter.

We dined the night. While filling our stomachs, we took the time to chat except for Zilei who enjoyed her own time. My curiosity peaked then asked Leora who was sitting next to me.

“Well, maybe he thinks of me like his first friend.?” Leora was doubtful of the answer. “Actually a lot I didn't know about him..” he added.

“True..” reply.

Unknowingly my plate is over. I took my drink and gulped it. My reserves were diverted from Leora. Like there's something weird.

“What when we eat only four?” many wonder.

“So Zilei has already left,” replied Leora.

“Oh, Sara said she wanted to go to the toilet. But until now has not returned,” continued Lukas.

“You mean the person there?” sindir Alya pointed to the center of the room. It turns out Sara was with those guys. I was surprised to see it.

“What is he doing there?”

“Looks like he's starting to crumple,” replied Lukas curling his head. Leora moves in with the intention of approaching her, but is held back by Alya.

“But, what if he's all right?” my continue.

“Then you look around, he's used to it all. Isn't that right, Lukas?” reply Alya. “He has been so often since long ago.” murmured Luke.

Suddenly Sara saw me from a distance. I was amazed by him. He blinked one eye as if he was signaling me. He patted the communication device in his pocket. “Oh, it looks like he will be fine,” Lukas said.

Time is getting late. We decided to go back to each other's rooms and sleep. While I see Zilei is busy by herself. Luke fell asleep very quickly. Now I can't sleep. I want to go to a separate toilet with a room.

It was then that I met Sara in the hallway. He just came back. I immediately asked him.
