18. New start

It has been three weeks since I separated the bed with wawan, I rushed to take care of divorce in the East Java region religious court. During my time off work I went to the religious court to ask about the lawsuit, after all the requested requirements were met I registered for divorce. At first I was confused because wawan took away one of the marriage books, but it was not a barrier. I can still file it, said the official there.

I was advised to go to the registration counter, when I got there I asked if I could divorce without presenting a male party. Then the counter attendant asked me why I didn't want to bring a man and I said my husband hasn't been home for a long time and has been looking everywhere but never found him. In the sodorkan affidavit, the contents explained that my husband did not come home for some time and must be known by RT, RW, and local lurah.

Soon I gasped my motorbike, heading to RT, RW, and the Village where I live. After getting the signatures of some village officials who maxed me back to the registration counter in the religious court, I offered all the requirements requested. Thankfully though with time I managed to register, and the clerk advised me to pay the lawsuit list at the cashier. I finished paying the cashier registration administration asking me to go back to the registration counter. There the officer wrote down the upcoming one-week mediation schedule.

A week had passed, and it was time for me to come to the mediation schedule at the religious court. The atmosphere in the mediation room was very stressful, they tried to provide a solution so that the couple who would divorce was referred. Ah.. finally my name was called, in the room I was asked to tell all the events so that I decided to divorce. And they asked for photographic evidence or anything to prove that all my confessions were true, thankfully I still keep the bruised photos in my body due to the treatment of women.

Three months passed, it was time for me to attend my divorce hearing. I never thought I'd get a divorce, but all this really happened to me. I came with two witnesses, my mother as the first witness and my neighbor as the second witness. My father and son also participated. We waited long enough, about three or 4 hours already. Finally my name was called.

I entered with both witnesses, my father and my son while waiting outside. The judge recited the oath to be followed by the witness, then asked me a few questions and two witnesses who were with me. After deliberation the judge knocked on the hammer, and told me that my lawsuit was cleared. My gratitude is in my heart, my relief. Finally I will officially divorce, just waiting for the divorce deed that two months will come up.
