80. Let's Burn

After breakfast, they all get ready. They will come out 3 people per one wagon. Each is 10 counts. They will spread around the palace.

After the wagon went out, 10 men came out to the gun shop. They would join forces to direct the citizens of the city not to approach the palace area.

Then Asgar came out with 20 men walking apart. Rey also went to the palace. Until they gave each other the codes. Bread and Kep are distributed. Soon the sun is directly overhead. The palace looked silent and scary.

When the time came, Asgar and Rey headed to the side of the palace. They led 10 men carrying laced explosives. Asgar was in charge of moving them because he knew the ins and outs of the palace before. Rey is in charge of protecting or dealing with witches and demons that come.

They touch each other's hands or shoulders to move places simultaneously. Asgar nodded at Zacko and Greg before disappearing. Zacko and Greg immediately ran to their respective positions while calculating the time.

The first place to go is the kitchen. They put a lump of explosives with a long rope connected to a flammable object. Then the arsenal, there are many weapons and explosives left since the palace was controlled by witches. Then to the library room, there are certainly a lot of flammable objects there. Then to the meeting room, there were many seats of ministers there.

There was a rumbling sound in the distance. Asgar grinned. They moved to another room further away. After laying the explosives Asgar moves all the other places again with the help of Rey who tells the moving witch where. So it continues until 9 rooms are given explosives. Rey felt a powerful movement terrifying. Quickly Asgar was told to finish his task and he disguised himself as a seedy coat in the corner of the hallway. Asgar managed to get out of the palace when there was a continuous explosion in the inner palace.

They immediately joined the others to help. Asgar almost went back to the palace to find Rey when he heard her telepathically.

( "Don't worry about me, try another one to reflect the sun towards the palace. I'll try to prevent them from escaping " said Rey )

The central palace began to burn. Greg immediately began his task. The fires are getting bigger and bigger. Rumbling and roaring sounds rang out from within the palace. Citizens flocked to the palace. The Asgar people prevented them from getting too close. The store owner shouted to warn them while explaining the reason for the arson. Residents welcomed the plan, they stood watching some distance from the palace.

Rey is in the spotlight for the panic of witches and demons. He decided to lock them up with a ball of fire, it would burn those who tried to escape the palace. Soon he moved outside and floated above the palace. He exerted energy to pull the fire of the palace to close each other to the palace as a whole.

Demons roared as they burned. The magician shouted and tried to pass through the flames yet it was in vain. Their strength was not comparable to the Fate Girl. But Rey feels Destraco is fine. He suspected Destraco of sounding himself.

Asgar below keeps an eye on Rey. He fears Rey's position is too easy for the escaped witch to attack. Finally Asgar floated closer to Rey, standing on the side a little backwards. He uses a wind shield to prop up Rey and her legs. That way Rey enough concentration on the fireball.

About 40 counts are no longer heard voices from inside the palace. But Rey kept the fire burning until it was all gone. There are only ruins that become charcoal.

All the members and citizens who were watching cheered happily. There are also those who jump. But suddenly Rey took a breath and put her hand forward.

" bluarrr...... ! " one invisible figure smashed into the hard wall of light that Rey suddenly made.

Glass is everywhere. Asgar reflex makes a wind shield in front of Rey and embraces her away.

" Rnr ...... ! " asgar's wind shield broke. The people below shouted in shock and ran away.

Asgar turned his head and his hand immediately manipulated the shards into the wind again so as not to hit the people below.

Everybody get out of the house and cheer. Smile at each other and pat each other on the shoulder. The bakery divides the bread in the storefront. A lot of men jump around and dance with joy. The owner of the clothing store threw a lot of silver money as a sign of gratitude.

Oh, what a delightful sight when excitement overshadows the whole city...

Asgar appears in the hallway of the headquarters. He lays Rey in one of the guest rooms. Kendrick shows up with Alice. Kendrick checked Rey and helped with the recovery. Alice prepares clean water to clean Rey's blood. Then Asgar and Kendrick come out to let Alice change Rey's clothes.

" My Lord.... Is Miss okay ? " ask Asgar.

" Yes.don't worry. I need to get back soon. Alice will be here taking care of him ", Kendrick replied, patting Asgar on the shoulder before disappearing.

Alice exited the room, leaving the door open slightly. He had Asgar look after him as long as Alice cooked the medicinal herbs. Asgar nodded and leaned against the doorpost.

When afternoon Zacko and the others returned. They all have cheerful faces. Zacko went to Asgar.

" Sir, how is Miss ? " ask Zacko.

" Miss is fine, just need a break for energy recovery" replied Asgar.

" Zacko. Give everyone the order to light the torch inside the house and along the way to keep it bright. If tonight there are no more witches and demons, then forever we will light torches throughout the city every night "command Asgar.

" Good Mr. "Zacko immediately carried out Asgar's orders. He had to quickly tell the entire townspeople so that the demons and witches would not return to the capital. His children soon split up to broadcast messages throughout the city. Of course the townspeople welcomed it. They immediately went home to prepare the torch and put it on the street poles.
