169. The Failure of Odex And The Young Witch

But demons have never been smarter than humans or witches. Only more cunning. He wants to hit Zigaz first. The demon opened its mouth revealing blood-sucking fangs. And. he was stung by the holy light that enveloped Zigaz's body.

" rroooooaaaaaarrrrr.................... ! "

His roar sounded loud and poignant. The devil is hurt by something invisible and persistent. The holy light also shrouded the demon's body until it faded away without rest.

A moment later they were in Kendrick's study. The atmosphere was quiet for some time. Rey looked at him worriedly. Kendrick sat quietly with a gloomy face. Zigaz just stood beside the entrance with a wondering heart. But he suspects Lord Kendrick knows who the young witch is.

( "Damn.... ! If I hadn't come too late. I must have received that power first. Now there's only one way left to seize that power "). The young witch furrowed her brows so deeply. His face was unsightly.

He stood up to teleport somewhere.

" Aarrggh... ! " he spewed blood. His hand pressed against his chest which was painful. After a sigh he tried again to teleport.

" Aaaarrrgh. This time he realized that he was hurt. For a while he could not perform magic that required deep power.

If it is like this, it will be dangerous if he meets the enemy. He walked in search of a safe and hidden place behind tall bushes. Then sit cross-legged to restore its strength.
