50. The Plan Against

" ammmm..... ! Arrrrgggh .............. ! A bolt of lightning bounced back against Destraco. As Destraco continued to attack the invisible Protector.

Destraco was furious. He felt his pride humiliated because he was unable to break the protector of Astraco. Finally Destraco left with an immeasurable sense of anger.

Rey was surprised to see all that. He stretched his hand upward and found an invisible protective layer. He looked at the smiling Kendrick.

" You made him "ask Rey.

" Me and the Elders. So if one of us dies, this protective dome will still be there "

Rey smiled in silence.

They floated down to the palace courtyard. The soldiers bowed respectfully as they arrived. Asgar and Alice approached.

" How is My Lord ? " Kendrick looked at Asgar for a moment.

" That's Destraco. He wants Rey . As fate would have it, Rey herself would one day fight him and reclaim the Crown of Life from his hands.

My present destiny is the successor of the Kingdom of Astraco . If Destraco finds out I'm the reincarnation of his brother, he'll melt himself in my body, and that means he'll become the ruler of eternal darkness, which means the destruction of the universe. That's why the Elders won't let me "meet" Destraco "

They looked at each other and breathed.

" How to fight it "

Asgar and Rey hear Kendrick's testimony.

In the afternoon Rey went downstairs. He sat down to rest and looked at Asgar who managed to move things and lift them in the air as high as his stomach.

Alice approached Rey.

" Miss wants a drink ? "

" May, bring some fruits too "

" Okay, Miss "

Shortly Alice comes with another waiter carrying drinks, fruits and snacks. Rey called Asgar. They sit together talking.

" Miss, what if we try to fight one of the Elders before fighting My Lord "

" You dare ? "

" Yes, we won't move forward if we don't have courage. We'll lose if we don't have the spirit "

" But we will also lose if the ability to lose is far "

Rey smiled, she gave her thumbs up to Asgar.

Asgar had previously asked Alice to keep their tactics a secret after he told her. Alice supported them. Asgar and Rey complement their plans and tactics in order to defeat the Astraco Elders. They continue to discuss actions and backup attacks in case of failure.

At dinner Rey posed a challenge to one of the Elders to fight tomorrow morning. Kendrick only smiled as the Elders looked at him then nodded in agreement.
