35. Vigilant

After Kendrick disappeared, Asgar went in and booked a room. He waited for his room to be prepared by the waiter.. Once ready he follows the waiter and crosses paths with Rey in the hallway.

" Miss, where are you going ? "

" I'm going to buy food for tonight, do you want anything ? "

" It's up to Miss's choice "

" All right "

Then Asgar went into the room and cleaned himself up. Then he sat down by the window. He took out Lord Kendrick's necklace and ring. The necklace was blue, warm. Shove it to the neck.

Then Asgar saw the silver ring and turned it around. He doesn't know how to wear it. The image of the sword and the shield. Suddenly darted out the shield and sword from the ring, hovering before him. Asgar fell from the chair in surprise. He nodded for a moment and then chuckled.

Finally he put it on the table. And the blink of an eye the two things shrunk and returned to the ring. Asgar was back.

He tried again to pull out the sword and shield and put it on the floor. It turned the objects back themselves into his ring. He tried to throw his sword down near the door. The sword flew back towards the ring.

All right, Asgar now understands. The two objects will always come back if they are released or thrown from his hands. He put on the ring and smiled happily...

Asgar again practiced throwing and catching his sword warmly. He also pretended to fall or roll while taking off and catching him.

He feels lucky to meet Rey and the Eternal Sovereign. They treat him so precious. Unlike King Higo who thought of him as a slave.

Hearing the door knock, Asgar immediately stood up to open the door. " Mister, here is some food and drink from Miss Rey" said the innkeeper. Asgar told him to come in. They set it on the dining table with the utensils. After they came out, Asgar immediately sat down to eat.

Grandma and Rey gather in Rey's room, they eat together while talking. Grandma had already bought a simple little house with a few rooms. He will start cleaning and buying household supplies tomorrow.

Rey agrees that it will come when the business is done. As per Kendrick's warning, Rey forbade grandma and Angel from going out or opening the window tonight.

Angel wants to sleep with Rey again. But Rey banned him because the witches were looking for him. He must keep his distance from them. Rey doesn't want them in danger. He himself will be guarded by Kendrick's subordinates.

Angel crying...

" Dear.don't cry "

Rey hugged Angel while rubbing her back.

" Miss, what if those witches find you ? "

" That's why I had to keep silent dispelling my magic aura for a while. And that means I'm just like any ordinary person who doesn't have magic.
