16. Unable to Survive

Kendrick felt guilty for not being able to save Flo's grandmother's life. He then sat in a chair by the window. Remembering all the things in the past that Flo's grandmother had experienced when Rey was a child.

Rey let him cry to sleep. Kendrick sighed softly. Then he picked her up and laid her in Rey's room. Afterwards he had the waiter clean up Flo's grandmother and prepare a funeral.

After breakfast Rey takes a walk in the park. He loves to touch flowers and sing little. Alice smiled watching her Miss. Simple but beautiful . It is not wrong to be the Queen of Eternity.

A few days later Kendrick met Rey.

" Rey...., sorry I couldn't accompany you to your grandmother's house "

" Oh..... It's okay, so I can go alone ?

Can I pick some of these flowers ? "

" Take as much as you want. I have to go back to the meeting room now " .

Kendrick holds Rey's chin and quickly kisses Rey's lips before disappearing.

Rey was of course surprised and embarrassed that there was Alice standing a little far away smiling. With a clumsy taste Rey began picking some flowers assisted Alice. Rey appears in front of her grandmother's house. He happily called while knocking on the door many times. But with no answer, Rey immediately spins into the backyard looking for her grandmother. But apparently no one was there. Finally he remembered the possibility of his grandmother still in the market. Soon a flower basket was placed in front of the door and Rey teleported to the market, of course she knew of a deserted place in the market where she could appear . Then he came out of the hallway and saw his grandmother being confronted by a Knight.

And that was also Lord Kendrick. He soon disappears looking for Rey. But his arrival was too late. Kendrick sees Rey punishing the witch (the fortune teller is her cover). Then Kendrick approached Flo's grandmother lying on the ground. Pressing his hand to the left chest (heart ). The soft light flashed for a moment. Grandma Flo opened her eyes.

" My Lord ..... "

Kendrick gestured not to speak.

He was trying to heal his internal wounds. The witch strikes right in the heart of Grandma Flo. Kendrick shook his head slowly.

" I'm sorry I couldn't help you. Your heart can't last long. You have only a little time ".

Then he holds onto Flo's grandmother after Rey finishes the witch.

They disappeared back.
