155. The Devil and the Children

The devil scratched the old grandmother. The old grandmother had not fully recovered and her strength was much reduced because she had to float continuously inside the glass ball for a night so as not to blister.

Martin picked up an apple that was not finished on the floor. He silently bit his finger and smeared both of his eyelids. Now he can see out.

Martin saw the old granny fighting with the devil. He noticed the position of the urn seemed to be hanging on the left waist.

( "Goddess, we're hanging on the waist to the left. I'll try to throw the apple marks out ") Then the leftover apple of the bite slid out, fell to the ground.

It caught Odex's attention. He wondered where the bite marks apples came from ? A little squirrel ran slowly towards a nearby tree. Oh.... Odex thinks it was the squirrel that had eaten the apple.

( "Asgar, you replace me to help Martin. Put the kids in a protective ball. I'll handle Odex ")

Martin immediately woke the children up and told them to get ready. He asked them to quickly run behind a nearby tree.

Rey looked up at the sky. He cast a spell and his little hand pointed at Odex.

" Vedaarr...... ! " one lightning bolt struck Odex's head. Odex fell half unconscious.

The other three witches just grinned. They keep scrambling to attack predatory demons to make their own.

( "Now Martin... ! " )

Martin immediately pushed the 5 children out. Asgar immediately wrapped them in a protective ball.

Martin brought out 5 kids. Asgar again made a protective ball. However .....

" Work.... ! "

Asgar saw one demon hit the first protective ball with a large rock. The protective ball is cracked. Asgar immediately strengthened the first protective ball. He forgot the second ball was not yet perfectly formed.

" Wuussis....... Aaaaah........ ! " one daughter was taken by the second demon.

" Nooo....... ! " Asgar flew after him. He forgot 4 other children were not protected. The first demon quickly grabbed 2 children and almost left. But...
