40. Magic Bond

After a while, Rey was better. He returned Asgar's necklace while still sitting on the floor.

Asgar instead put it in the man's grasp. Asgar looked at the man's neck. Wrapped in cloth (handkerchief ) . It was seen that the wound on his neck was starting to close and his breathing was sounding regular.

His eyes began to open. He looked at Asgar and Rey.

" Thank you.... "

Asgar patted his shoulder slowly.

Asgar turns around and helps Rey move into a sitting chair. He gave Rey and the man a drink. It turned out that the man was the husband that the woman who was looking for this afternoon had been chatting in this inn.

After recovering the man got up and returned the Asgar necklace. Asgar asks her not to tell him about the two of them and is careful if she is forced to go out for the night. The man thanked her while nodding.

Asgar walked out of Rey's room. He returned to his own room and immediately cleaned himself before resting.

The next day the inn was back with the return of the wanted man. He recounted the witch attacks without mentioning Asgar and Rey. Asgar sat down quietly among them .

Kendrick visited Rey this morning.

" How are you, my dear ? "

Kendrick pulls Rey into his arms and kisses her cheek. Rey's cheeks blushed.

" You are this ......! why didn't you come in last night to help me ? "

" I don't think you're in danger. Think of it as training for you to be stronger. Didn't I tell you to store energy in things ? "

" I forgot .... " Rey grimaces funny.

Kendrick clucking. He lifted Rey's chin and crushed it with anxiety. Rey thrashing.

" mmmhh.............. "

Kendrick. His passion rose slightly staring at Rey's lips. Rey punched Kendrick in the forehead with her index finger.

" Don't be naughty ...... ! "

" No ....."

Kendrick chuckles. He took out a necklace with flowers and gave it to Rey.

" This will help you to energize and heal. You can change the shape as you please "

" Ooooh..... Thank you "

" Hmmm...... "

" Kendrick ......? can Asgar not be magic forever ? "

" Ordinary human Asgar. It can be magic if it does magic bonding. The bondage of magic occurs by marrying a witch, becoming a witch's slave, or planting the witch's blood "

" Why don't you do that to her ? "

" Kendrick smiled. He looked at Rey meaningfully.

Rey was surprised to hear that explanation. Especially with the words "twice bond " . He scrunched his eyebrows at Kendrick.

" That means you're already .... tied to ....... someone.......? "

Kendrick chuckles long....

" Have you forgotten we've been bound by the "Bond of Holy Blood" or the marriage covenant ? "

" Oh "

Rey nodded her head.

" What if the couple who made the Marriage Covenant dies or is killed ? "

" The Marriage Covenant will only lead to death if one betrays his own will. But if one is coerced by the other person intentionally or not, then death will befall the offender the cause of the separation "

Rey smiled at him hearing that. He is very happy because it means Kendrick will be loyal to him and he belongs to a Kendrick. Suddenly a kiss landed on her cheek.

" he....... Kendriehoff ....... !

As usual, Kendrick disappeared.
