DESTINY GIRL

DESTINY GIRL
14. Meet The Astrologer

Rey woke up this morning happy. He was happy because today he was going to see his grandmother. She wore a white dress and met Kendrick in the dining room. They had breakfast together as usual.

" I'll finish my business first. You can take a walk in the park while you wait "

" good, ...... "

Rey didn't know what to call when she was in front of the others. He stood up and lowered his body a little. Alice followed him behind.

* * * * *

This morning the Knights of Asgar ate in a hurry. He told his men to immediately call the fortune teller and prepare his horse. He had decided to take the girl away so that the King could not find her. For him King Higo does not deserve to be with that girl. He was too holy to be sacrificed to the greedy King whose bed was always covered in sin.

He took a bag of gold coins to prepare for his future. He met some of his men and said he would go with the fortune teller to find himself the girl the King wanted. After that the Knights of Asgar went to the stables to retrieve his beloved dark horse. Before long the fortune teller came in throngs and took the nearest horse and quickly put the horse saddle. They immediately left without saying.

Throughout the journey, none of them spoke. When they had entered the last village of the Kingdom of Higresia, the day had already begun. Soon the Knights of Asgar headed to the market and had the fortune teller look for him. Some merchants looked at them questioningly.

Until finally the clairvoyant stopped in front of a middle-aged woman who was cleaning up the remaining vegetables. He looked up and was surprised to see who was in front of him. The fortuneteller looked cynically while grinning.

" Where is that fate girl ? "

" You.... What do you want ..... ! "

" Just tell me where he is now, or you won't survive this time .... "

Asgar frowned. He saw that the fortune teller and the vegetable seller looked like they knew each other but there was a sense of hostility in the air.

The woman looked at Asgar .

" What do you want, young man ? Don't you know that he belongs to the Eternal. You don't even deserve to look at her "

" ...................... "

Asgar drew his sword slowly. He looked hard waiting for an answer. But the woman just smiled thinly. Asgar stepped in front of him and began to raise his sword.

Suddenly a sweet voice sounded.

" Granny ....... ! "

A girl in a white dress came hugging the woman. Then the girl turned to look intently at Asgar.

" What are you gonna do ? What is my grandmother's fault ? "

But there was no answer, Asgar was stunned to look into those blue eyes. His tongue feels ugly. This is the girl he was looking for. The beautiful girl the King wanted.

While Asgar was busy with his own thoughts about the girl, suddenly a single shadow flashed from beside him. The fortune teller caught the girl's hand.

" What ..... ? " Rey was surprised.

" Take him off "So soon grandma tries to shake the clairvoyant's hand.

But the fortune teller pushed him back. And out of her hand came the black smoke she was pointing at Rey's grandmother's chest. A second later the woman fell.

" No ..... ! neneeek............. "

Rey let go of her hand and knelt down hugging her grandmother. He saw blood seeping out of the corner of his grandmother's lips. He bit his lips knowing his grandmother was lifeless. Tears flowed down his cheeks. Anger and sadness mixed into one in his heart. He laid his grandmother down slowly and then stood up with a rumbling chest.
