57. Obstructed Opinions

Today is the highlight of Rey's challenge. Everyone in Astraco's palace was talking about the fight today. They're not sure if Princess Rey and Asgar will win against Lord Kendrick. Because in their eyes, Lord Kendrick is the most powerful ruler in the Astraco Kingdom.

Asgar who heard the conversation immediately went to see Miss Rey. Alice lets Asgar into Rey's room. Rey's just gonna take a shower.

" What's up Asgar ? "

" Miss, I think it's better we cancel this fight. I heard everyone talk about the standing of My Lord. To them My Lord was the ruler with the highest power. If My Lord were to lose it would mean that My Lord is unfit to be the ruler of Astraco "

Rey and Alice heard it immediately. Rey sighed listlessly.

" I forgot that He was the ruler of Astraco. My intention is just to fight ordinary. But it turns out it's complicated..... "

" What if Miss talks about this with the Elders "

" Aren't we used to have breakfast with all of them ? "

" Right Miss , but not all of the Elders were present to eat together. "

" Well, I'll talk about it after breakfast "

Then Rey took a shower and got ready for breakfast.

In the dining room, Asgar was a little tense. As the Elders were about to leave after eating, Asgar nodded to Rey.

" Ehm ...... My Lord..... I want to cancel the fight with you "

" Is there any reason that influenced your decision Princess ? " ask one of the elders.

" Yes the Elder. My Lord is the supreme ruler and protector of the Astraco Kingdom. If we lose the fight, it doesn't matter. But if we win isn't that the same as insulting a leader "

The elder sighed and nodded. Kendrick smiled.

" I'm actually going to fight this fight so you can fight Destraco. Destraco is as strong as I am despite the different "elements "

" But we hear people talking about this. It's not good if we keep going into the fight "

" Daughter. We've heard about them. For that later one of the Elders will explain the purpose of this fight. If they remain objected, then let's not continue. But the Princess and Lord Asgar will continue to train against His Majesty Lord Kendrick in order to defeat Destraco "

Rey and Asgar stared at each other. They still doubt.

" Or put it this way, I'm going to disguise myself as Oldden's Elder and say I have business outside Astraco. That way they won't bother about it "

" If so I will disguise myself as one of the servants and sit among them to hear their opinion" Oldden Elder said.

Rey and Asgar smiled. Kendrick soon transformed himself into Oldden's Elder. And the Oldden Elder turned into a male servant. One obstacle has been overcome. Now they're getting ready for the court.

Rey returns to the room to change clothes. Alice helps Rey put on a fighting dress. The white scarf was laid out to form a large ribbon in front of Rey's chest. Asgar waited at Rey's doorstep. Then the three of them walked together towards the courtyard.

When they get there, Rey and Asgar wait in the arena. One of the elders stood up to approach them. Rey and Asgar saluted. They seemed to be talking seriously for a moment. Then the Elder turned his head around and sighed before speaking.
