23. Beginning of Travel

While they were in the woods, they did not speak at all. Rey really enjoyed the view. At last his mouth began to sing. Asgar was flabbergasted at the sound of his voice, so melodious that it calmed the soul. Unaware he nodded his head.

His horse also walked to the rhythm of Rey's song. The birds are watching each other adding to the cheerful atmosphere. Really .... Rey singing is able to evoke the surrounding. Kendrick who was somewhere else smiled hearing (via telepathy) Rey sing. He felt longed, wanting to embrace her.

By the afternoon they reached the small town. The atmosphere is a little more crowded . Rey stopped at a nearby restaurant. He gave his horse to Asgar. Then Rey sat in the corner by the window. He ordered some food and drinks. Asgar entered and stood beside Rey. Rey told him to sit in front of her.

" Miss, I don't deserve to eat one table with you "

" Please don't argue, Asgar. I don't want them to bother me "

Rey said slowly. Asgar looked around. Understand it with the view of some visitors to the restaurant. With a little bit of a sigh Asgar sat down.

A few eyes had indeed looked at Rey before. But when Asgar sat down one table they immediately turned away muttering. Of course they don't dare. Asgar's stocky body enough to make their guts shrivel.

After finishing Rey paid while asking for the nearest inn. The waiter said tonight there was a wedding celebration for the mayor's son. So the best inn is certainly full, there is only one cheap inn that is behind the city market. Rey nodded in thanks. Asgar pampits to prepare the horse.

Just now Rey stepped out the door of the diner , came some people to the place. The front youth saw Rey so beautiful but her dress was very simple. Immediately he stopped while smiling.

" Hi lady, accompany me. Do you need money to buy a nice dress ? "

" What's wrong with you, sir, my dress is still worth wearing. Could it be that the Master's eyes have been damaged ? "

" You ..... ! "

The young man approached and reached out with the intention of touching Rey, but a firm hand caught his hand.

" Don't touch my Miss ... ! "

then Asgar slammed the young man's hand so that he staggered back.

Immediately two bodyguards stood beside the young man. The young man backed away with a grin. He was sure his people would take care of this bully. So he could have fun with that girl. His eyes searched where the beautiful girl was, but he could not find her.

Rey sighed and retreated to her horse. He cast a spell making a protective ball so no one would see him. He just doesn't want anyone to bother him right now.

Asgar prepares to fight with the two bodyguards. The people who saw it immediately swarmed around them. Some restaurant guests went out to watch. There are also those who secretly bet behind.

Two guards started moving. One man jumped on Asgar. Asgar catches the man while spinning slamming. Another came pouncing on Asgar. But Asgar immediately rolled to the side. Of course the man fell on his own friend. People laughed and started cheering. This confusion is getting more and more people.

And the crowd blocked Rey's view. But Rey doesn't look worried. He believed Asgar was able to overcome the two guards. Rey leaned against the fence waiting for the fight to be over.
