"There's just a little bit of a problem, as I said before the left Fabian's shin cracked maybe because of a great impact. Make Fabian will have trouble walking," Jamie's doctor explained at length.

Renata is shocked, and mother Fabian looks even more panicked.

"Why is my son going to suffer paralysis, Jamie ?" Fabian asked her mother with tears that had run down her cheeks.

"It's not like that Auntie, Fabian is not paralyzed. It's just that right now Fabian's legs are hard to move. You have to do some walking therapy and this requires time, patience, and support. Especially from the people closest to Fabian," Jamie's doctor explained as his eyes continued to look at Renata.

"For a while can be helped by using a wheelchair. Later I will continue to monitor the development of Fabian, aunt do not worry," he continued.

"What needs to be considered is the psychological and mental condition of Fabian. I think Fabian really has to get support and encouragement to get well. His psychic condition is not stable,"

Renata and her mother-in-law had exited Jamie's doctor's room and were walking towards Fabian's room. Seeing the reaction of Renata who was just silent made mami Fabian ask.

"Renata, can we talk together?" Fabian's mom asked Renata.

"Of course, mommy, what's wrong?" Answer Renata.

"We find a seat, while drinking tea how ?"  Ask her mother-in-law.

"Yes well mi, how about in the hospital cafeteria just let it not be too far away," replied Renata.

Her mother-in-law agreed and they walked to the cafeteria area which was getting quiet because it was night.

After sitting down and ordering a drink, Fabian's mother was seen watching her daughter-in-law Renata. The clear eye bags on her daughter-in-law's face imply that the burden Renata went through was very heavy one week ago. For a moment her mother-in-law sighed heavily before opening the conversation.

"Renata, first tama mami apologized for the past mami's remark. That what Fabian did was natural to have another woman. My mom never felt it. Of course it hurts. Forgive mami son," he said as he stared deeply at Renata.

Renata just kept quiet and nodded her head.

"Mami also apologized on behalf of Fabian for hurting you" he continued

This time Renata began to shed her tears.

"Renata, you know that my mom loves you so much that she never differentiates your position from others" said Mami Fabian as she pulled Renata's hand in her hand.

Renata seemed to think for a moment and nodded his head. Because it is true what her mother-in-law said during her 6-year marriage Renata and Celia were always treated well and lovingly.

"Mommy knows what Fabian did is unforgivable. But can mommy beg you ?" Further again.

"What does mom want?" Ask Renata.

"Can you hang on to Fabian's side until he's fully recovered ? I'm a mother like you, Renata. Mami wants Fabian back to health, I'll do anything for my son Fabian."

"Of course you'll be happy if in the end you keep together, but if you decide to go from Fabian's side then you won't hold back or forbid because that feels it's you," mami Fabian said with tears starting to drip on her beautiful face even though she was no longer young.

"And don't worry, because whatever happens mami, papi and all the big families will continue to love you and Celia without any less. Moreover, Celia's only mother's granddaughter, you must know how mommy is so loving her," he continued.

Renata was still silent and then wiped away her tears.

"Okay, my mom will be by Fabian's side until she recovers. I do it because I respect and love my mother like my own mother, and for Celia of course. But... If one day I can no longer bear the wounds of the heart, then let me go" Renata said with a bitter smile.

"Of course, son, with a heavy heart my mother will take you off" said her mother-in-law still with tears soaking her cheeks.

Soon the conversation ended and they stepped foot into the VIP room where Fabian was being treated.

Arriving at the room Fabian turned out to have Sakti his older brother Fabian with his wife and two sons.

"I'm sorry we just came back, Renata. This week my work is crowded, my wife Kirana helps mommy in the main house because papi (father Fabian) his health condition is declining but does not want to be admitted to the Hospital. A little troublesome indeed," said Sakti.

"Nothing brother. Does papi know Fabian's been sober ?" Renata asked.

"Already, therefore we can just leave papi now. Papi's condition is stable again, so it's not too worrying like yesterday. Fabian's state really affected his health," Sakti replied.

"Thank God then, brother," said Renata.

Since Renata's arrival, Fabian's eyes have only been on him. But Renata always avoids Fabian's eyes. What Renata does is pretend to be chatting with Kirana or joking with her niece. Celia is always on Fabian's side.

"You guys go back to the hotel, let me take care of Fabian tonight. I also took a 2-day leave to take care of Fabian's return to Jakarta.  I'll give you the best treatment Fabian can get well soon" Sakti said.

Fabian just nodded his head.

"Well then, let's go back to the hotel. Tomorrow morning come again," take Fabian's mother and one by one say goodbye to Fabian including his wife Renata.

Renata approaches Fabian to say goodbye despite his reluctance.

"Me and Celia go back to the hotel first, tomorrow morning will be here again" he said.

Fabian pulled Renata's hand in his grasp for a moment.

When it used to be the heartbeat that Renata felt every time Fabian linked his finger, but now the heart of pain that Renata felt.

"Thank you for being with me" Fabian said, looking into Renata's eyes.

Renata just nodded his head without answering anything. Then he pulled his hand and left Fabian.

"Hold on Renata, hang on for a while" he whispered inwardly.
