Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway

Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
A pair of Terrible Eyes

From behind the protection of a burned truck carcass, Ilham tried to observe the movement of biological weapons creatures who were trying to get out of a large hole in the basement wall. The huge blood-red speckled black tentacles continued to move, causing a small earthquake that occurred several times. Coupled with a dust and smoke screen that kept rolling around them made visibility disturbed. The five humans in military uniforms hiding among the remaining rows of abandoned vehicles there could not do much.

The creature in the form of a flower dome with a middle filled with red meat blobs looked hungry. Several bodies of dead mutant creatures were lifted up high with all of their tentacles. At the blob sprung dozens of yellow eyes that surround a flexible gap resembling an octopus mouth. The lifeless bodies were released until they fell into it and then chewed very roughly. The same fate applies to the undead hordes that just came out of the secret room behind the monitoring building.

“Truly a terrible creature!” Didin gulped his saliva seeing how the creature in the form of a giant jerked black flower ate the bodies of mutants and human corpses greedily.

This Kopassus lieutenant had never previously imagined his first field assignment would instantly face a danger more akin to being called a nightmare than dealing with ****** or armed criminal. In such circumstances he actually wanted to approach and then rain down on the target with an explosion but did not do. His three men were a bit away from his position. The only person right next to him is Ilham Jati Ravana. Just like him, the middle-aged man could not hide his surprise.

“Quickly or later, the creature will find us here,” Ilham said as he tried to install a portable grenade launcher on the bottom of his SCAR L assault rifle. “Din, you've learned demolition tactics during training, right?” ask her later on Didin.

“Iya, Sir. But we don't carry explosive devices at the moment!” didin replied while half shouting. “I also did not expect to meet such a big creature in a place that I think is very bad!”

“But grenade launchers exist, right? I know you can attack quickly with that weapon on several occasions in training at Batujajar.” Just as Ilham finished saying this, one of the tentacles of the black flower creature struck right into the top of the truck where they hid until it crumbled dimly.

All Didin's men who were separated from each other held their breaths with wide eyes. Had thought Ilham and their leader were killed because of how severe the damage to the truck was caused by the hit, the lieutenant's head that poked and then turned to make the three soldiers back calm.

Didin grimaced while trying to get back up and peeked. He was grateful that his head was still fused with the body. If only he and Ilham had fallen too late, their lives would have been lost. There was no time to ask about his former coach. Seeing the retired middle officer Kopassus next to him was fine was enough to make a relief.

“There, Sir. Each of us carried five grenades to throw. But if combined with the five of us will not be powerful enough to paralyze a monster of that size. Need something with more devastating power like Anti Tank Guided Missile,” responded to the words of Ilham before.

Inspiration inevitably has to re-twist the brain. In the midst of that unexpected situation he was expecting once the existence of Ardana who was currently out of nowhere. Although the obvious did not seem convincing at their first meeting, the ability possessed by the young man made Ilham entrust him to hold the security of Paramitha and carry out the task of investigation that is actually dangerous.

Before they actually found the best plan to attack, another mutant creature suddenly appeared by jumping down from the window of the monitoring building. His different appearance attracted the attention of Ilham and the Kopassus soldiers. His body resembled a human with a worn-out army uniform and covered in blood. But his chest was swollen with a yellow-eyed lump of flesh that blocked the wild. Some of his limbs were badly burned marked by the smell of scorched flesh.

The mutated Togar Siahaan was now roaring loudly like he was engulfed in anger and started to rampage, smashing some tentacles that came out from his chest and back. He turned his body towards the giant black flower creature that was trying to break through the basement wall that had been crumbling dimly. An unexpected sight occurred where suddenly Togar's body was pulled with large tentacles that directly grabbed him. His body then seemed to be swallowed round and round the monster without a fight.

“What the fuck?! They eat each other?” Didin did not believe what he had just witnessed.

No one's saying. Each was glued to the spot without pulling the trigger of the weapon that had barked fiercely.

Shortly after Togar's body was put into the mouth of the giant flower creature, something happened again that made Ilham and Didin and his men gaped. The color of blood-red spots all over the body until the tentacles are getting stronger, as if it contains a large flow of electricity. The unexpected change turned out to have an effect on his physical form. The broken-looking flower petals were now starting to regenerate themselves and reshape the manifestation of the monster.

After a few minutes passed, the form of a giant black flower that Ilham saw and the four surviving Kopassus personnel no longer existed. Replacing with other strange forms that are no less terrible. Its petals change to resemble full serrated wings on each side and are capable of flapping. The lump of flesh in the middle of the crown switched to the shape of a human head half animal that has no skin. All of his eyes that had originally numbered in the dozen were now left two and were a sharp blackish-red. And so were all his teeth bathed in blood. When his jaw was wide open, a new mouth appeared with a screeching roar.

NGHHRRRRIIIKKKK!

“Aaaaarrgghh!”

Bruk!

Paramitha suddenly collapsed and sat down on the road. The straight-haired girl with the bangs sideways to the left was holding her head quite tightly. His face grimaced with the pain that suddenly struck.

“Eh? Paramitha!” ardana, panic.

Had thought his lover had fainted suddenly, this little-haired young man who was starting to twitch hurriedly put down his backpack and gun and sat down on his knees next to the girl. Gently hold Paramitha's shoulders and head to ensure that consciousness is maintained.

“Mitha? You why?” tanyanya.

Ardana nodded, “Alright. We shift first to the right.”

Although his own condition has not really improved, Ardana still helps Paramitha stand back. It was not something easy to do but enough to make the two of them able to walk slowly to the right side wall of the transit passage. After arriving, she sat her lover carefully. Ignoring the still faint pain on the back of this young man in a dark green uniform stroked both sides of Paramitha's face and nape.

Paramitha who did not want to trouble Ardana forced herself to fight the pain. Her eyes were originally made as if fully awake. At that moment, Ardana realized a change. The blackish-red color on the pair of beautiful eyes of the girl seemed clearer and sharper as if reacting to something. More frightening than it ever appears when Paramitha is angry with him.

“Mitha, your eyes,” said Ardana restrained.

“Why, Dan? What happened to my eyes?” Paramitha who was aghast at seeing the change in expression of the young man before her did not react gesturally.

“Before,” said Ardana while reaching into one pocket bulletproof vest measuring only 5x6 centimeters. A small mirror was handed over to Paramitha.

Through the mirror, Paramitha realized that both of her eyes had undergone unusual changes. There are no words out of his words. His mouth seemed to be silenced by something invisible.

NGHHRRRRIIIKKKK!

“What is it?”

Ardana stood up by reflex and ran to the middle of the transit road to retrieve all his weapons and backpacks. The sound of a roar screeching from the direction of the basement made him curious. There must be something they both missed. Moreover, the mutated Togar even disappeared when he almost burned the area. Allegedly, the creature is still in there.

“Ardana,” call Paramitha.

Ardana just responded by looking. This young man then turned his body towards the end of the transit road that led directly to the basement. Now his heart hesitated to choose to investigate the source of the voice and still take Paramitha away. The condition of the Catranata girl who suddenly decreased for no apparent reason further added to the concern of her heart.

“We have to go back there again, Dan,” said Paramitha, awakening Ardana who was struggling with her own thoughts.

“But... How about yourself? I have to get you out of here,” Ardana said on her knees. The face of Paramitha.

Paramitha. There was a dislike on his face hearing the sentence earlier.

“We're back there, now!”

Ardana Putra took a deep breath until his face was down and eyes were closed. Paramitha's firm stance to return to the basement area was not at all something she wanted to hear. Furthermore, the girl tried to get up and walk back in that direction as if she did not feel the pain as before. Ardana tries to hold back her lover's steps. This young man in a dark green tactical uniform could not take for granted the wishes of Paramitha which he considered too dangerous.

“Hey, what the fuck are you? I haven't decided anything yet, Mitha!” hardiknya while trying to hold Paramitha's shoulder.

Paramitha brushed off Ardana's hand without trying to turn her head. The unexpected action left the young man aghast. Inevitably he had to take the right decision so as not to happen something that could endanger the safety of the Catranata girl.

“Mitha!” call him while running small. “Alright, we'll go back to the basement!”

The beautiful girl's footsteps stopped. He turned his back on Ardana who was now holding their weapons and items.

“But help me bring all these important items,” pinta Ardana.
