Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
Trying to Escape From Death

Paramitha escaped from Togar's attack. The figure that had become an undead half-mutant creature was staggered once the kick from its prey hit the back of its body. The martial skills that the girl learned while still sitting in the High School is really very useful in the precarious atmosphere like now. While rebuilding the defenses Paramitha did not loosen his grasp of black shrews. His blackish-red eyes could not be separated from observing the movements made by Togar.

Togar's figure is trying to rise. This creature growled furiously because it could not stick its teeth in the neck of Paramitha. Even one of his eyes became blind from the prick. With a bloody condition, he again swung his big hand while running towards Paramitha.

GRRRRAAAAARRRR!!

Again his rampage was easily countered by Paramitha. This girl was able to dodge while rolling to the lower left side of Togar who had difficulty moving his right hand which was already swinging in the wrong direction.

Claps! Claps!

Paramitha managed to thrust her back into the back of Togar's body. This time it targeted the head that was overgrown with live flesh that was pulsing fast. Tentacles from the left and right ear holes react by swirling backwards trying to twist Paramitha's neck. The girl responded quickly. The two living things immediately broke up with just one slash because they were right next to each other. Falling on the floor of the hallway then wriggling for a moment and finally not moving for all eternity.

Togar's body regained its sudden regeneration. Not only that, his body also turned slightly taller and bigger. Paramitha immediately retreated and kept her distance. The mutant creature in front of him was now roaring in pain. The part of his head that was still human-shaped instantly cracked in two and crumbled. The headless body still reacted with a rampage. His large right hand continued to damage the walls and ceiling of the hallway.

Seeing the terrible process of change, Paramitha chose to stay away. Despite being horrified, his curiosity to keep looking was much greater.

“What did this man actually do in his lifetime, with all that was here?” muttered.

At the same time, six of the several bodies of soldiers scattered in the hallway area behind him came to life. Just like the figure of Togar, these creatures undergo a process of change but are slightly different. Their right hands were both larger and longer with skin ripped all the way up to just displaying red muscle tissue and flesh. There is no change of form other than in the eye that was originally grayish-vacuum, now becomes a whole black color. On each of these black eyes appear red spots that glow in the dark.

Paramitha inevitably also had to be wary of them. The six undead now cornered him. The figure of Togar still continues to rage while holding the base of a puffed neck and shed blood. The only way to escape was another passageway that was right to his right. But Paramitha does not know which part will end, or even there will be other branches that make it confused. At such a time he still had time to think about the state of Ardana. From the sound of the explosion earlier his heart believed the young man was also in the same place.

“AYEUNA MANEH WILL PAEH KU AING!” threaten one of them with a heavy and hoarse voice.

“KADIEU SIAH! GET AWAY FROM AING!” The others were making a sound while growling loudly.

The Catranata girl begins to look for ways to save herself. But first he wanted to make the six creatures in front of him obstructed first. His two eyes swept quickly through the entire passageway and the rest of the body remained stiffly stretched. Until a grenade that seemed still active in the lap of one nearby corpse caught his attention. Without buying any more time Paramitha immediately picked it up. A few years ago Ilham had taught him how to use a grenade even though he did not practice it. Now is the perfect time to do it yourself without the guidance of the Kopassus retired man.

Without thinking much less do Paramitha consideration releasing the key of the grenade. Once successful, the bomb was not thrown but was directly rolled down the sixth leg of the undead who continued to advance. Paramitha immediately dashed into the passageway to her right without turning her head again. From the corner of her eyes the girl could see the creatures were confused to find a hard object the size of a fist rolling under their feet.

THE BLEGGAAARRR!!

Five seconds later the sound of an explosion was heard so close behind. Scrolls of smoke and dust spread out in various directions.

“Aaaaakh!” Paramitha reflexes dropped her body in a sitting position. Her braids slipped off and both her hands tightly covered her ears. The sound of the grenade explosion almost damaged his hearing.

The loud buzzing sound strongly disturbed his sense of hearing. This girl for a while could not hear anything well. The black kujang that had missed was taken back while trying to stand up. For a moment he observed the traditional weapons of his family heritage that are still in good condition.

THE RATATATATAT! A NOTE-TAT!

The streaks of firearms sounded from the other direction though faint. Paramitha gasped as she continued walking a bit limped looking for the source of the origin. His belief about the existence of Ardana in the hallway area grew stronger and added to his spirit.

* * * * *

A few dozen meters from the location of Paramitha, precisely between the passageway branching with many rooms, Ardana continued to run there and here while occasionally firing shots in various directions. Finding himself surrounded, this young man did not necessarily break charcoal. One by one the undead and the mutant creatures that tried to attack or corner him were made to fall with their heads crushed. Occasionally he used his knife to stab the back of their necks when it was very tight.

In such a situation Ardana can still remember clearly all the training he went through. As strongly as possible he put aside his fear in order to survive in order to find Paramitha. The disappearance of the girl who was allegedly strong in the same place as him made this young man fight with fanatics. His opponent was no longer human.

As it was being possessed, every undead that managed to touch it was instantly slammed onto the floor. His hand that was wielding a long knife was unforgiving by repeatedly raining down every body of those that fell under Ardana's feet.

“Close if you want to die a second time!” he was fierce while turning his body.

Unfortunately, because it is no longer a complete human being, the creatures still attack him. From almost every direction they kept coming. Ardana who was overwhelmed was forced to keep a distance further and no longer do close combat. He continued to retreat while shooting one after another the crashing undead.

GRRRAAAOOOOOORRRGH!!

A huge tall creature suddenly intercepted him, several tens of meters ahead right between the crossroads of the passageway. Ardana almost slipped in surprise. While painstakingly getting up he continued to stare at the creature that was walking towards him. The form of the figure is more sinister than the first one faced. Slightly similar, but his entire body was really like being ripped roughly to the point of displaying body flesh that was still bleeding. There was no scythe with a stick that became his weapon, other than two long hands with large and very sharp nails. His face resembled a blend of skull and gorilla which all seemed to be rotting.

Ardana stands by pointing his gun while returning backwards in the original direction. His steps were stifled as soon as he heard the sounds of growling behind.

“Remember, Dan. Don't die here.”

This young man was now completely surrounded. It was as if there was no gap to be able to escape the undead and the mutant creatures that came from the front and back. The large tall creature before him smirked showing off its sharp teeth with a terrifying sharp gaze.

“Funny, yes?” Ardana tried to upset the figure. He spread his hands with a defiant gait. A crazy idea suddenly appeared in his mind.

“You have a big hand with a nail that looks deadly,” he said again, ”forward and attack me!”

GRRRAAAAAOOORRGGGH!!

As if understanding, the five-meter-tall creature attacked him ferociously. The floor and walls of the passageway trembled small whenever his feet imprinted strongly. His right hand that spread large and sharp claws swung rapidly towards the body of the young man who was still standing firmly. Ardana's heart was pounding and her legs were starting to feel a little limp.

Almost his body was torn apart and scattered if he did not plunge in the direction in the swing of the creature's hand. Between believing and not because he managed to do crazy actions earlier, Ardana was stunned for a while before finally waking up. The SS2 V-4 assault rifle in his hand again barked up the silence.

KATATATAT!

Ardana hopes his shot succeeds in toppling the big figure. But his conjecture was wrong, the creature quickly turned around swinging its claws with its left hand. One more inch of this young man's neck will be destroyed if not immediately back to dodge by jumping backwards.

“How can I find Paramitha if it is constantly intercepted like this?” he nodded away and continued running.

The half-skeletal-faced figure and the gorilla did not just let go. His large body whirled quickly after Ardana who ran the club looking for a way to escape. The young man who did not expect to be chased by the same creature was again struck by eternal damage. Wherever he moves, he always succeeds quickly. With the rest of the ammunition starting to choke there was not much he could do other than continue to make a gesture of deceit.

Whether in the area of the hallway which because it continues to spin around here and there, Ardana finally found a dead end point with a path down to the bottom. It seems to be heading to the next floor.

“Heaaaaa!”

Bruk!

Gbrak!

Without thinking anymore Ardana immediately jumped there. The result was quite fatal because his leg accidentally slipped. His body fell rolling on the rows of stairs without being prevented, then hit hard the concrete floor at the end. Starting from the neck to the legs everything feels almost crumpled.

Ardana grimaced with the pain all over her body. He was there for a while while complaining of pain. Despite having to suffer a less fortunate fate, the positive side is to escape the pursuit of large high beings who have been hunting him ever since.

“It seems... It is better to go down in a good way than to jump like this,” he murmured.

A different-looking passageway greeted his vision. All walls and floors are no longer made of concrete. All are coated in a fairly thin silvery steel plate with many lights that adorn the left and right corners of the ceiling. The absence of active electricity makes it absorbed depending on the flashlight it has.

Ardana forced herself to stand up again despite still feeling pain. While resting on the border of the left side of the stairs his eyes swept thoroughly the condition of the place in front of him. Although it looked modern but with too many blood stains that litter the walls and floor makes it look very creepy than Ardana saw before. The fishy smell there was stronger than the area above it. He was forced to wear a gas mask that, since departure, hung just under his neck and became a decoration.

“What will I get here?” his murmurs were full of curiosity.
