Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway

Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
Meet the Host

Ardana is already in the angkot car that will go to Antapani District, right next to the driver. He decided to sit there in hopes that the middle-aged father of the public transport driver could be invited to chat. Moreover, the expression displayed is always friendly. Behind them the other passengers sat quietly while busy with their respective affairs. The point is to play a smartphone to send a message or just watch a video. Only Ardana who did not participate and choose to enjoy the view of the city of Bandung. The taxi driver drives his four-wheeled vehicle a little quickly but carefully. It seems that he is used to the traffic that is a little runyam in the capital of West Java Province.

Close range three bamboo…

Long range seven rebu…

Angkot strike mah.. saredona…!

Nanananana…!

Nanananana…!

Nanananana…!

Saredona…!

A song from the Grave Band chimes from the music player on the car dashboard, making Ardana smile. He loved the song and was one of the band's fans. While listening, his two eyes looked at every building and interesting places that were on his left. He planned to visit some of them finished duty later.

“Sorry, Kang? From the appearance of Akang teh... it looks like a new person is here, huh?” The angkot driver next to him suddenly started an unsolicited chat.

Ardana responded with a smile and nodded. “Iya, I just this time came to Bandung. The city is interesting, because I used to read about this city from the internet or travel books only. Now can visit directly,” he said.

“Hade pisan, if in Bandung it is better to multiply go to places of interest. Here are many, just choose. There is Braga, Museum of the Asian-African Conference and others,” replied the driver while giving a thumbs up. From his style, this person seemed proud of the city where he made his living.

“Ari Akang teh from where?” ask again.

Ardana raised an eyebrow while watching the highway ahead.

“From Jakarta. I'm here for a task from the center. Well, first assignment because I just worked. I was given two weeks, hopefully finished in just one week, because the next week I will use to get around in Bandung. Understandably, his name was also a new person. If I come to an area, I usually like to go around. Find a place, find food or a good photo spot so that it can be exhibited. As long as there is enough money in the wallet,” the answer joked.

The angkot driver next to Ardana laughed at the young man's reply. “Aduh, young people now mah anything want to explore. But it's good, especially when shopping. Not bad atuh, there is income for local regions and traders.”

“Including Mr too, huh? If many tourists even though there are online transportation, they would want to try to ride angkot in Bandung,” said Ardana.

These two people then laughed crisply. Ardana began to like the character of the father of the angkot driver next to him who said he was friendly, humorous and good at casual talking with new people. Their conversation continued to discuss other interesting things in Bandung. Until it does not feel the angkot car has entered the Subang Road area. From the rearview mirror, Ardana saw it seemed like only he was the new one going down. Behind the faces of the same passengers were still there and busy with their devices.

“I got off in front of the Antapani Farma Chemical Pharmacy only, Sir,” he said as he looked forward.

“Oh, ready. Relax weh, definitely until,” reply the angkot driver with confidence.

“The return is just take it, sir. The sustenance should not be denied,” the message.

“But.. the cost is only seven thousand rupiah.” The driver still wanted to give me the change.

Ardana refused quickly. “No need, Sir. I already intend to give money in such a large amount.”

“What is true, Kang? Then I accept, hopefully Akang's business in this city is made easier. Aaamiin,” reply the angkot driver with great pleasure.

“Aamiin, thank you. Be careful and don't speed, sir! Hopefully we can meet again,” reply Ardana.

The transport car also passed from Ardana which is now standing on the side of the road. Before continuing on, he went into the pharmacy and bought ten strips of vitamin C tablets. After getting the item he wanted, the trip continued on foot. Although actually still far from the fork where it went down, Ardana did not order an online ojek because it considers the distance from the pharmacy to Cicalengka remains quite close. Some locals noticed it out of curiosity, which Ardana occasionally replied with a smile or nod showing an expression of hospitality.

Not in vain his efforts to travel on foot to Cicalengka Raya. In a fairly quiet residential area, he began to look for the address of the house that became his destination.

“Finally, until also!” yells.

In front of him was now a house with a beautiful small yard. The gate was left open. The two-story house with a minimalist style is nuanced all-green and white with a blend of natural rocks that look beautiful. There are dozens of pots of clay and plastic ornamental plants that are placed on the edge of the yard or hung with ropes that are also decorated with vines that creep freely. Some small birds are also found perched while looking in various directions.

As soon as he stepped foot into the yard, he was already face-to-face with someone sitting on the veranda. It seemed that his presence had been awaited since a moment ago. The straight and slightly grizzled black haired man sat leaning against the teak wooden chair, behind a round table of the same material. Her appearance was so simple, just wearing a white t-shirt with dark brown trousers. Both of his eyes looked at Ardana without blinking a single bit, slightly sharp.

“You... named Ardana, right?” tanyakanya.

Ardana nodded slowly without answering.

“If asked it nods steadily!” scold the host and get up and walk towards him. “Do not be like a child who is afraid of being punished for stealing fruit belonging to a neighbor!”

Shocked by the host's response, Ardana almost retreated to the back but did not do so. What's the retreat for?

“I—iya, Sir. I am Ardana Putra from headquarters!” reply Ardana, firm yet somewhat flattened.

The host sighed then turned again to the veranda. His face looked sour looking at Ardana who was standing pecking with a face of confusion.

“Come, login! Must be exhausting, huh? The Jakarta-Bandung trip is still quite far.” Without looking, he sat back in his place.
