“I—ini is like the one in the dream I told you about, Dan. Yes, very similar!”
Paramitha could say almost nothing but tell her the similarity of the place to what she had seen in a dream some time ago. Unexpectedly, they actually found it not along the area of the hallway they had passed before. Both did not understand why it had to be built hidden near the basement that would lead to the exit from there.
Ardana did not reply, only his eyes were blocking freely to pay attention to the entire large and spacious room in front of them. Even more astonishing is that only that place still has electricity that he himself does not know where the power source comes from. Though it had been abandoned long enough to leave a trace of death that could not be imagined by his mind.
His gaze shifted to observe all the lights that were lit with a whitish red color. Had thought the shades of red that illuminate the room came from those objects, Ardana immediately realized that too many blood stains to stick to the walls and floor to be the cause.
Together with Paramitha, they ventured to one of the nearest beds with the body of a man who had almost lived bones on it. All parts of his body blackened like a burn mark until charred but felt soft to the touch. The clothes worn by the victim still seemed intact despite the many uneven tears. In the part of the mouth that still contained the rest of the cheek skin, Ardana's eyes caught something interesting.
“What is this?”
He ventured to take the black object directly with his own hands. Residues of black flower petals with blood red spots that are already dusty. When his finger accidentally squeezed it, it was instantly shattered not remaining. Ardana turned to several other bodies that were reached by his vision. Some of them are the same condition as the first body. Very different from the remains of mutant creatures that are still bound hanging from the ceiling.
Paramitha approached another body. The Catranata girl was stunned to see the victim's mouth that was stuffed with something like a tentacle that was broken and charred. “This is the condition with the one we found in one of the lane earlier,” he said.
Ardana approached Paramitha and glanced at the body in front of the girl. The sight reminded him of the findings of one of the bodies of soldiers who burned to the inside of his body like being shocked by a certain creature. The tentacles that clot the mouth of the body are the same as the samples it took.
“We'll leave this place. I will report this finding to Mr. Ilham,” he said as he pulled Paramitha's hand, taking her away.
They turned back to the door of the secret room and closed it tightly as before. After exiting the narrow, armored passageway that connects the two rooms Ardana also closed the vault door without locking it. When glancing towards the whiteboard containing the departure and arrival data of all the vehicles on the right wall near the window, it again crossed the mind of this young man to inspect all the trucks in the basement area along with the cargo.
Just to make sure the second-floor room where they were located was completely safe, all the bodies of the soldiers there were stabbed repeatedly in the neck and skull with a long knife of his. There were two bodies floundering short of a sign that there was actually another creature inside. Blood mixed with blackened body fluids came out of the ear hole, nose and mouth. Every time she tried to pull out her knife, Ardana felt like she was testing the feasibility of eating half-frozen meat that began to harden. From there he was able to deduce that all parts of the body had been badly damaged by something that infected them while still alive.
“What should be up to do that? Even if they're dead, they're human bodies.” Paramitha squinted her eyes. From his impressive tone of voice he was less fond of his lover's actions.
“From being able to jumpscare again. I would most not like to be surprised especially in the middle of the situation now. See, right? There are two who are found to be able to rise again and turn into a terrible creature,” Ardana replied casually.
Paramitha did not. The girl seemed uninterested in continuing the conversation and chose to sit in one of the chairs near the stairs. His view is directly on the whiteboard containing data on the departure and arrival of the last truck made on the date stated in 2009.
DAKK!
The loud clashing sound from the direction of the secret passageway behind the vault shocked them. Ardana reflexively pointed the weapon at it without daring to open it again. Paramitha reacted immediately standing up to Ardana.
The sound of aftershocks heard was now increasing in number. Like being hit by something in large numbers and clustered.
“Ardana,” call Paramitha. The young man glanced for a moment while clasping his hand.
“I don't know where else to run, but obviously we can't be here lingering,” said Ardana as she continued to stare intently at the vault in front of them.
On her own initiative, Paramitha shifted some heavy objects such as tables or other cabinets with the help of Ardana. All of them were closed towards the vault that became the entrance to the secret room earlier. Not enough with that, Ardana added a trap using two grenades connected to the wire. When the closet door is successfully broken, it will automatically pull the wire tied to the key of the grenade and create an explosion that will be a sign for the two of them to immediately find a place to hide or run.
Ardana placed two of his trap grenades carefully. “We'd better check out all the trucks that are out there before they make it out.”
Quickly this young man grabbed Paramitha's hand and took her down immediately and out of the place. As soon as they set foot again in the basement area, they ran towards a row of trucks that were only forty meters away. All the large vehicles with ten wheels in front of Ardana and Paramitha were not ordinary military vehicles. With the back of a solid steel box, this type of vehicle is used to transport something important and secret. Sometimes disguised into ordinary trucks that do not characterise the typical military property. To open the box door on the back requires a password that is key, not with conventional security tools.
It was quite difficult for Ardana and Paramitha. By force, the young man scattered his shotgun ammunition to destroy the security that should have been opened with a digital system. Yet all the locks in each such box are hard to break.
“Come! I was in a hurry,” snorted Ardana while cocked her gun and prepared to shoot back.

A Ford Ranger penetrates the darkness of the night south of Cikembang Village directly opposite the outskirts of Sirnasurya Forest. The driver, a middle-aged man who was none other than Ilham Jati Ravana put his eyes on alert. The same scenery was no different from the previous nights, always deserted. He did not even see anyone or any other vehicle passing by him.
Disconnected communication with Ardana forced the retired Kopassus to come out and follow. Moreover, the young man is known to have managed to find Paramitha and is still underground in the Sirnasurya Forest. In a place that was never even known by the surrounding villagers.
A stack of weapons in various sizes and various other combat equipment filled every seat and open tub on the back covered with a thick special cloth. This man had already made up his mind to go in there and bring out the two young men. After all he had responsibility for each of them. To Ardana, he watched to make sure the young man did not take any action outside the order. And Paramitha, the beautiful girl one of Catranata's descendants who is still alive after a bloody tragedy many years ago is her foster child.
In addition, Ilham is not alone following. Right behind him, there is one Komodo tactical combat vehicle in black which is boarded by the four TNI soldiers. They wore green and brown camouflage field uniforms with kevlar helmets on the head complete with support equipment such as bulletproof vests on the body. Each part of the face is covered with black buff masks so that only the eyes are visible.
“Bapak will catch up with you. Ardana, Paramitha...,” hissed Ilham while looking straight ahead.
