Paramitha shook her head in disbelief at what she had just heard. The girl stared sharply but weakly at Ardana who remained lowered. And so is Marnie. Two women who over the years have been overshadowed by the overwhelming curiosity that has befallen their loved ones. Especially Paramitha who until the age of twenty continues to look for the cause of death of his father and mother.
To make them believe, Ardana took out a fold of paper with the concentrated bloodstain she had stored.
“This is a memo I found at that place. There was on one of the corpses of soldiers without a symbol of unity or identity in one of the rooms I checked.”
Ardana gave the unfolded paper to Paramitha. After the hand on the girl received it, the tightness in the chest of this young man actually increased. He did not know if Paramitha could read the contents of an old memo whose writing had almost fused with bloodstains. Especially when in the middle of the trip from Bandung to Ciamis, Ilham had reminded not to offend anything sensitive to Paramitha. However, for the sake of telling the reality it should be violated as well.
Paramitha's heart was pounding as her hands unfolded folds after folds of paper that still felt damp. Some parts were even torn small even though he had done it carefully. The truth of Ardana's speech is in it, and soon neither he nor Marni will know.
His two eyes instantly paused after reading the first sentence of the memo. His breathing turned faster than before until it slowly began to sound heavy. It felt so painful that both of his hands trembled violently. Marni stood up with a shocked face looking at her nephew's reaction. His heart was racing. Somehow he felt an air of grief that was not ready to be accepted by the two of them. The middle-aged woman decided to approach Paramitha, then read for herself the memo that the girl was holding.
“Dad, Mother...” Paramitha immediately sat down limp with tears streaming down. The girl could not stem her cries and a mouthful of grief.
The girl did not expect to know the truth that had been covered up from others like Ardana. All this time Ilham only told that his father and mother died due to an accident in the Sirnasurya Forest. Similarly, Nina always said when she was a child and was under the care of her best friend's mother.
Marni who just finished reading the contents of the memo seemed to be able to control herself. There are no tears. Only his eyes were weak. However, Ardana knows that the middle-aged woman's heart is also broken knowing the tragic end of the life of her biological sister due to the actions of others who have power.
Ardana hugged Paramitha's shoulder which was still sobbing. His intention to deliver Paramitha to Karanghawur Village to clear the name of his parents who were rumored to die because of black magic was revealed because of his own actions. But a scrapbook is not enough to convince the people out there. He started it, he had to look for other evidence. After seeing for yourself how Paramitha's reaction was so heartbreaking, there was no other choice but to go back down there. Penetrating the darkness that he himself never knew what was inside.
“Turn yourself, Mitha,” she said as she stroked Paramitha's hair.
Unknowingly, she also shed tears. Ardana only realized after she felt the drops falling into her right hand. The pain Paramitha felt was connected to her.
“I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you that too early,” regrets it in heart.

While driving the car, Ardana continued to look straight ahead. The dark day made him want to immediately go home to Cikembang Village, moreover he has not given news to Ilham. Although overshadowed by the punishment of the Kopassus retired man for going to take the girl person for a long time without giving news, conveying a strong reason directly thought of him directly is the right choice.
At first glance his eyes impress the void. Many times this young man took a deep breath and exhaled heavily. Since following her decision to be open about what happened to both Paramitha's parents, she has continued to think about what will happen next time.
Paramitha was sleeping in the next chair. Since a dozen minutes ago he had been asleep from exhaustion and was struck by grief. The girl even had time to fall asleep there and inevitably Ardana had to wait. Marni wanted Paramitha to stay but was rejected subtly because they did not say they would stay either in Ilham or Nina.
The tired face of the girl who now looked a bit pale made her full. Ardana now feels great guilt for offending something that triggered the return of grief not yet in time. Despite appearing to be a strong and powerful figure, Paramitha is still an ordinary human who can feel the pain of losing his father and mother since he was a child.
"Truly stifling," his his hiss was stifled.
The glance of time that continues to run with the motion of the pointing needle in his watch. Still not too late to go home if you do not want to be called home too late.
"Hopefully Ms. Nina didn't go on a rampage because my foster daughter had been away all this time."

Nina who was waiting for Paramitha to come home occasionally stood up from her seat on the veranda.Meanwhile the lights from several houses around one after another started to light up. Once worried, his feelings became relieved when he saw a familiar-looking Ford Ranger car approaching his yard a moment later and stopped.
Ardana got out of the car and ran to the left to open the door. A second later Paramitha came out with a sad-looking face. Ardana tries to help her to get down because there hasn't been a minute of the girl waking up. The two of them looked at each other before they both turned their faces. Although from afar, Nina could see how pale Paramitha's face was. With slightly dashing footsteps for the size of the mothers, he went down intercepting the two young men with various prejudices at heart.
“Eta si Neng jigana teu damang kitu atawa pasea? Bet cicing bari manyun kitu duanana,” murmured.
Ardana and Paramitha who walked together restrained to see Nani who was approaching.
“Sorry, Mom. Mitha almost makes Mom anxious,” Paramitha said as she forced her smile.
Nina who could feel the change in attitude of the beautiful girl did not retaliate. His gaze was directed at Ardana. At once the young man was also drunk.
“Mitha is fine, Mom. It's just a little tired,” is fast.
Nina ruffled waist. His originally sharp gaze now became fierce.
“Then, why go home at this hour? If there's nothing on the road how about that Neng?” The lyrics are on Paramitha who watches her and Ardana.
Paramitha tried to break up by spreading a little of both of her hands towards the two of them. “Already, Mom. Ardana is not wrong. Mitha was deliberately a little longer in Karanghawur."
Ardana nodded, supporting the girl's words which she considered a defense or perhaps did not want the slightest commotion. Nina nodded without taking her gaze off the young man. Of course the one being stared at became clumsy and confused. Paramitha who initially looked a little grim slowly smiled knots to see the treatment of her best friend's mother to her lover.
“Mommy already believes in you. Do not repeat, if there is anything with Paramitha do not dare to come here again. Shameful with the ability that you set yourself!”
Whether Ardana should be anxious or how, clearly Nina said the sentence did not sound like a threat. The middle-aged woman patted Paramitha's small shoulder to invite her inside her house. Before parting, the girl clasped Ardana's hand tightly. As if not to see him turn around quickly leaving her.
“Eh.” Ardana.
Paramitha who still looked grim tried to smile sincerely and sweetly for him. Inflated though not too wide yet so beautiful in her eyes. Ardana could feel her heartbeat racing faster. It is not the beauty of the girl that triggers it, but because of the inner bond that begins to be strong between the two of them.
“You be careful on the road. Thank you for coming with me all day,” he said sincerely.
“This you, even though I live hitchhiking at the village head's house and not too far away too. I can still see you every day. And another one, stop showing off that grim face,” Ardana replied a little amused. In his heart, he just wanted to be cared for in such a simple way.
Paramitha shook her head while still smiling. “Hard head. You are stubborn behind your soft-looking nature.”
“Let's be stubborn, but you like,” said Ardana did not want to lose. Seeing the change of the girl, she felt proud to be able to melt the atmosphere.
“As far as you are,” sigh Paramitha, “which is important you immediately go home Mr. Odang. Have you replied to a message from him?”
Ardana felt like she was electrocuted by high voltage electricity. He soon realized that the message from Ilham since this morning had not been read. With his dork and without a chance to say goodbye he reached into the pocket of a jacket to open a message from the supervisor who turned out to have been piled up to a dozen. The run was quite fast like a child chasing a kite broke up. With a lightning movement Ardana re-entered the Ford Ranger car that he turned from the yard and then poked the gas a little towards the residential area near the village square.
Looking at the man's behavior, Paramitha was eager to laugh. His deepest sorrow that occurred this morning seemed to disappear just like that with a simple solace not directly from the lover.
