Ardana did not move at all when the four-meter-high creepy figure again targeted another package. In the mouth wide and full of large serrations still remains the organ in humans that was eaten so greedily. The nose has a strong sense of smell to distinguish which meat is worth eating.
As long as the flesh that the creature ate was not her, Ardana did not care. Even so, his little heart regretted the fate of the people who were reported to disappear after entering the Sirnasurya Forest actually ended up in a secret place unknown to anyone. A dark place, inhabited by terrible creatures that have been around for some time.
“He's closing in, getting closer,” hisses while creeping away. The creature with a body that was almost wrapped in a blood-stained shroud was now starting to approach its position.
Suddenly the floor where it crept felt wet with a slight fishy smell. Ardana tried to hold her breath as hard as possible without wanting to check what she was going through. Because not wearing elbow and knee protection, both parts of his body began to feel sore. His face grimaced but he still continued to force himself to creep back to the door where he had entered.
Clontang!
A used tin on a table was accidentally knocked over by him, then fell several meters down towards the center of the room. The tall figure wrapped in a shroud with open breast meat turned his head quickly and came to the source of the voice. Fiercely the scythe with the stick in his hand was plugged into the can many times. Ardana blinked in horror while continuing to creep towards the entrance of the room.
Trial succeeded. This young man escaped from one very frightening threat to him. Once through the door, Ardana rushed up but did not immediately run away. Fearing the sound of his shoes would lure the figure towards him. Only after being within thirty meters did he run back to the T-junction where he had previously managed to get out of the holding cell area. From various directions came a faint sounding roar interspersed with falling objects. But not a single strange figure was caught by the sophisticated brilliance he wore.
Thrilling minute by minute passed. Ardana immediately sat down relieved as soon as he reached the fork in the hallway. So tense was the atmosphere felt that both of his hands trembled small. The assault rifle in his grasp was left to fall just like that near his feet. Although often feeling prestige, this young man must admit he still harbors anxiety and fear every time he is in a dark and quiet place. At least for a while he was still safe and his mind had not been poisoned by the negative power of excessive fear.
Ardana looked back again and then unblinkingly turned his gaze towards the passageway that led to the prisoner cell area.
“Remember, Ardana. Don't die silly here. Anyway don't,” he said convince himself.
While leaning all over the wall of the passageway he recalled his motivation when joining the Baihaqi Armed Corps to be able to raise the standard of living. Although the smell of materialistic, Ardana does not deny it. As a young man with a mediocre life, earning money despite having to fight with danger can be said to be almost never avoided. The title of education and his brain is classified as intelligent is still not enough to lead him to taste sweet and bitter in search of prosperity coffers. His family's not-so-good economic condition turned him into a person with a person who always wanted to have a lot of money. Many people judge it as skewed because it often measures almost everything with a nominal rupiah. Even he still remained that way when he joined to become part of the Baihaqi Armed Corps field personnel.
However, his duties and encounters with Paramitha soon changed his outlook. Both things indirectly teach Ardana that no matter how hard the desire to seize wealth, his life is still no less important even on it. There are still other things besides matter that make life more meaningful and want to maintain it with all the strength both inborn and inward. Protecting loved ones and making them happy without necessarily pursuing material pleasures.
The shadow of the figures of his parents, Ilham, Paramitha and some people he knew in the Baihaqi Armed Corps suddenly appeared before him. Everyone reached out, except for Paramitha who approached him and sat parallel in front of him. The embrace of Ardana who was in a state of flabbergasted. Despite knowing it was only a shadow yet this young man felt at ease. All of their figures then disappeared one by one ending with Paramitha releasing her embrace.
Ardana gave a small laugh while shaking her head. Without feeling the tears flowing from the corner of his closed eyes.

Another area in the underground passageway
A few moments before
The sound of an explosion from the other direction that resounded strongly made Paramitha stop a step, right in front of the passageway with many rooms on the left and right sides of its walls. This girl looked back with eyes that implied curiosity.
“Ardana,” hisses worried.
He would turn around to find where the sound came from, but something else prevented him from doing that. The passageway before him was the same place he had seen in a dream. The further ahead, there were many rooms on the left and right that were almost all wide open. There's a pretty noticeable difference. If in his dream the place seemed empty, the one in front of him was very messy. Around a dozen bodies of soldiers were recovered and even scattered everywhere. There is also a body that has almost lived bones stuck to the wall along with the remains of a strange lump of meat that has hardened and somewhat blackish. Drain the crusted grayish-yellow liquid in the corner between the floor and the walls of the hallway.
The smell is certainly very unpleasant but seems to have no effect on Paramitha. He breezed freely down the hallway looking for something until he arrived in front of the last room on the right side of the wall.
“Finally met too,” murmured while going inside.
His past memories reappear. The room filled with tables and chairs along with thousands of dull, messy papers suddenly turned neat. He who was still a child was brought there by the same person. There was another man in a striped uniform with the name ‘Togar Siahaan’ on the right chest looking at him coldly, sitting behind his desk with three of his guardsmen. Behind them was a red flag with the same emblem as on the door.
The fat-haired man with the name sign picked up an imported cigar from an iron container on the table and lit it with a gas lighter. Long objects containing superior quality tobacco it sucked full of pleasure. With a bang, his work desk was occupied by him himself.
“So... is this his son? Too bad, maybe he won't last long if the test is too rough.”
“Her parents have Major removed, why did Lord Major suddenly pity him like that?”
“Pity him? Not really, I was curious and wanted to see the process.”
“Then, just take this kid to the special experimental room. Don't waste any more time trying to cheer her up!”
“Quiet first, don't be done in a hurry!”
Paramitha turned her face away while closing her eyes tightly as soon as the visualization had disappeared. His right hand that was grasping the black cudgel clenched very firmly.
Slowly, both eyes opened. The entire room was watched carefully. And in the corner of the room he found a body in an army uniform, sitting cornered with a trace of an expression of great fear on his face that had been almost badly damaged. Although it looks a long time ago, there is almost no decay process except from the chin down to the damaged chest torn apart. His widened eyes had turned blackish and seemed to harden.
Siahaan Togar.
Paramitha's eyes suddenly grievously read the name on the body. The person who had appeared in the visualization of his past was now nothing more than a broken corpse without a neglected life in a gloomy place. That man was responsible for the deaths of his father and mother.
Togar's body suddenly shook violently. Both of his eyes twitched and broke. From his hole came dozens of small red tentacles that wriggled wildly. His body then underwent rapid regeneration at the beginning by peeling off the blackish skin that wrapped the body. Paramitha who had been aghast now retreated slowly while remaining in a defensive position.
HRRRRGHH! MMPPFFUUEEEEUUKKHH!
The creature in front of Paramitha is no longer Major Togar. The undead body that was still regenerating was twitching around like something was alive inside. His form turned into a half-human mutant creature with an entire hole in the head giving off thick yellow slime-covered red tentacles. Part of his forehead instantly appeared a severe crack that continued to open wide. From the section appear four new yellow and red eyeballs that glare wildly.
Paramitha did not attack. He still stepped back carefully and walked out of the room. The strange creature in front of him tried to attack but was still too staggering. Just three seconds after the first regeneration process, his right hand underwent another change. The nails are elongated and hardened like a pointed horn that is very sharp until it reaches the calf.
NGHIIIIIIIKKHH....!
The mutant creature ran towards Paramitha who gasped at the change in form.
