This morning's incident seems no longer remembered by Ardana. After all, the discovery of the body was taken care of by the authorities. There was no crowd of villagers like before because Ilham told Odang to have only Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas and other village devices come. They all carried the bodies together to the edge of the forest. Furthermore, it was taken to Ciamis City Hospital with an operational vehicle belonging to the puskesmas which happened to be not in use.
Evening came, it was time to do something else lighter. He had promised to accompany Paramitha to take a walk outside the village just for dinner.
“Just pick you up at Bu Nina's house, huh? I'll be there soon!” he said by phone. A second later her face looked happy, a sign the girl agreed.
Walking out at night is not a Paramitha custom. After work at ten o'clock at night, he never stopped by the coffee shop or gathering place for young people in general in Bandung. Even though it was under ten at night when the holiday, this girl remained in her room to do her hobby in photography editing. Sitting sweetly in front of a flaming laptop befriends warm tea without sugar.
Among the many residents of boarding houses owned by Heni Sugama, Paramitha is the most disciplined. The other residents even make it as an example and try to imitate it. Some of those who like to wander at night and often get spray Heni even start insyaf.
It's just something different this time. Paramitha was eager to see the state of the village at night while looking for a place to eat that he thought was good. During his time at his best friend's family home, he had never been out at night. It was only after Ardana declared that she was willing to take care of him that this girl felt that there was a wider moving space.
Arriving Ardana at Nina's family home, this young man was shocked by her racing heart. On the guest seat of the veranda, Paramitha was already waiting for him. The girl looked beautiful even without makeup and the charm she exuded was incredible. Paramitha chose to look ordinary and adapt to the style of dress of the locals. His body this time was wrapped in a maroon red woll jacket, his favorite color. Her hair was sweetened on top of her bangs that were sideways to the left. A flat rose-shaped hairpin.
“So...want me to go where now?” ask Ardana slowly. While imagining him clasping the girl's hand, he led her down the stairs.
Whereas in reality, Paramitha got off on her own while giving a knotty smile. Even so, Ardana was almost hypnotized. This was the first time she had seen the girl smile so sweetly.
“If you don't mind, accompany me to the village puskesmas. Nearby there is a famous meatball restaurant delicious to the neighboring villages,” replied Paramitha later.
“Ready, I can,” said Ardana. “Bu Nina to where? This house looks quiet.”
Paramitha only boasted an amused smile hearing him. The girl looked towards the front window.
“You don't feel like you're being watched, huh?”
Ardana looked up and looked in the same direction. He realized that Hadi and Nina were watching them from the window. The silhouette of the couple was faintly visible in the lighting of the main light in the front room. Two seconds later Nina appeared from the door waving towards Paramitha.
“Ulah peuting pisan balikna, Neng!” the message.
Paramitha waved back while nodding. Ardan is waving. The two then walked away from the yard area of Nina's house and turned to the right towards the location of the village hall and the adjacent puskesmas.
The atmosphere of Cikembang Village under ten o'clock at night is still quite crowded. Tired residents after work, trade or farming usually gather on the porches of neighboring houses or go together out of the house. Just eat at the shops or hang out for coffee at the warkop-warkop. Their attitude towards fellow citizens as well as outsiders was generally friendly. Seeing Ardana and Paramitha walking hand in hand, though not familiar, some of them greeted and asked where the two were going. This attitude shows how safe and secure there is.
Ardana returned the greeting with a little pleasantries while saying goodbye to continue the journey. And so did Paramitha. It is precisely a friendly response more strongly directed at him than the young man next to him. Its graceful carrying and hospitality make the citizens feel very happy to see it.
The meatball shop opposite the puskesmas became their destination. This shop is better known as Saung Bakso Kang Acil. Concept of closed and semi-open buildings nuanced all green, there are bamboo saung with a capacity of four people. As much as possible the manager presents a strong Sundanese art and culture concept in it, including a signboard shop written in Sundanese script. About taste, this store maintains natural ingredients in its concoction so that customers like it. As entertainment, contemporary regional songs flow to accompany a comfortable dining atmosphere.
Because the inside of the store was crowded by other visitors who had come first, Ardana chose a saung in front of the store building. It turns out that the choice suits the taste of Paramitha who wants to enjoy the open space. Sitting in a saung like that also makes Ardana feel the typical atmosphere of the countryside that is still beautiful. Paramitha who sat before him spread a glance around them. This girl seemed to enjoy the atmosphere designed by the store manager.
“You want to liken the order? I want cheese and cinnamon tea meatballs.” Ardana glanced at Paramitha who was seriously looking at the menu list.
“Hmmm. Yes, already,” reply Paramitha while noting the order in the note book available. Not too long later, a friendly serviceman greeted the two of them while picking up a paper containing their order.
“Sumita... my friend who is also her son Bu Nina often talks about this place to eat,” said Paramitha without turning her head, “malah often teased me who had never come here.”
“Dining places like this are also a lot in Bandung, right? Especially in Lembang, you can go where you like,” reply Ardana.
Paramitha looked and shook her head. “The original atmosphere is different. Maybe because here is my hometown, the taste offered is very different from in Bandung,” he said.
Ardana.
“So true Mr Ilham's story about you never coming back here?” tanyanya.
“Never. This time, after all these years. Glad, that's all I felt when the first day arrived here,” replied Paramitha.
Without them noticing, a middle-aged man observed them from a saung that was on the inside of the building. That person was none other than Ilham Jati Ravana. Although not in order to supervise and just dinner, he did not expect his adopted son with Ardana was in the same place. While chewing meatballs gently, these two men's eyes without blinking witnessed the togetherness of the two young men.
His monitoring was hindered by the presence of servants who delivered orders to the saung filled by Ardana and Paramitha. Now he saw the two of them began to enjoy meatballs while occasionally stirring the seasoning in it. The opportunity was used to capture the scene through a special camera shot in the form of his secret pen.
“It's quite familiar, good,” murmured.
It seems that one of them is starting to realize that he is being watched. The most sensitive to it is Ardana. Ilham immediately hid himself in the middle of the saung and acted like a local who was also eating dinner.
“What do you see?” tanyakanya.
Ardana glanced at Paramitha. “Ehm... no, just a wrong look,” answered.
“Ukh!”
Paramitha was suddenly choked by the spicy taste in the meatball sauce she was eating. Ardana reflexively picked up the cinnamon tea glass next to them and drank it on the girl.
“Be careful, Mitha. You just poured too much sambal into the sauce.” His fingers moved to Paramitha's lips, rubbing them to clean the remaining spicy sauce.
Although surprised by Ardana's treatment, but Paramitha did not refuse let alone brushed off the young man's hand. Fortunately, people do not care much about the scene that is usually only done by a couple who are drunk with romance. Moreover, Ardana's expression looks flat tend to be plain. But it's not really so. Ardana's heart was racing again. He himself did it reflexively without any plan.
“If you want a new message and not too spicy, it's okay. I paid,” said Ardana.
“Do not, let it go. Even though the spiciness is very pronounced, but I do like it,” reject Paramitha.
Ardana who was curious about the spicy taste in the meatball bowl that was being eaten Paramitha also took a little sauce. Once tasted on the tongue, these two young man's eyes widened. The spiciness turned out to be very burning until it almost went into the throat. Almost make him cough if not killed with cinnamon tea is still warm.
“Yeah... this is very spicy,” comments surprised.
“I told you, right? You even tried it.” Paramitha's forehead shriveled to see Ardana feeling the pungency.
Ardana sipped back her cinnamon tea. “Since when do you like spicy food like this? Do not billan almost every day you enjoy it.”
Paramitha thought for a moment.
“Hmmm, since I entered SMA. In one of the canteen shops there are selling spicy seblak and it tastes good. Since then, somehow I became fond of spicy food,” he explained.
“Until transmitted to various other types of food such as meatballs?”
“Iya, everything.”
“What is no stomach pain? But if too often it is dangerous for digestion.”
“As long as I don't eat spicy three times a day, I won't do anything.”
Paramitha impressed indifferent with his favorite that according to Ardana is not good. This young man nodded with a slightly horrified expression, especially whenever he glanced at the color of the girl's meatball sauce that turned red due to the addition of the Chili sauce of the Rolling Horse stamp and cayenne pepper. Two additions to the famous food as a combination of spicy and deadly.
If asked again to eat as Paramitha likes, Ardana prefers to lift the white flag. He was admitted to the hospital for digestive problems after receiving a challenge to eat two bowls of extra spicy meatballs in High School. From then on he was deterred from enjoying spicy food beyond the limits of his ability.
Minutes by minutes passed. Ardana and Paramitha finished their dinner. Before he went to pay, Ardana immediately finished his cinnamon tea. After that he rushed to pay for everything ordered by the two of them.
“Why did you pay all? I'll look forward to it, yeah?” Paramitha, who knew she was being treated, refused and took some money out of her wallet.
Ardana shook her head slowly. “Already, it's okay. If you want to return it, later in the future,” reply.
A fifty thousand rupiah note was handed over to the cashier in the inside of the tavern building. When he was given the change, Ardana refused. After that he invited Paramitha to leave the shop.
“You're home now?” bargain later.
Paramitha shook her head quickly, then glanced at the wall clock that was on the back wall of the cash register table.
“Dan, can I ask you something?”
Ardana frowned curiously.
“What is it?”
