Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway

Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
In the midst of the Fire

Ardana's originally flat lips slowly widened, forming a thin smile full of confidence. Both of his eyes were accidentally fixed on the right chest in the uniform of the mutant creature in front of him. There is an embroidered bet inscribed with a name that was once called Paramitha about the girl's past memory that is too dark. The man responsible for the deaths of his two lovers' parents. Togar Siahaan, who now evolved into a monstrous creature with an uncontrollable ferocious nature.

“So he's called Togar? Too bad, now no longer human,” sis Ardana.

Paramitha witnessed the second tense scene which was actually very scary for her. Not on the figure of Togar who can no longer be said to be a whole human anymore, but the safety of Ardana who jumped to face the creature frontally. The girl began to feel great worry. Afraid that something bad would befall the young man for underestimating the mutant creature in front of him.

GRARRAAGGGGH!

Ardana took a deep breath while concentrating. Since behind the mutated Togar had also sprung many half-mutant-toothed hornets, they would be very troublesome. He had to lead Togar away to a position that made it very easy to finish him off. Ardana no longer wants to play cat.

With an attitude as if preparing to shoot, Ardana outwitted Togar who went forward to attack him by running to the right and then turning a little backwards. Once felt right, his left hand picked up a phosphorus grenade hanging from the left chest of the bulletproof vest he was wearing. It was thrown right at the gang of hornbills behind Togar.

Clangs! Clangs!

BLEGGAAARR...! WHOUUZZ....!

The sharks with tumors in some parts of the body seemed confused to see an object in the form of a canned drink with a small head on it floating towards them. Not long after Ardana toppled the body several times in the same direction, a violent explosion that turned into a fierce blaze mercilessly devoured all of the semi-skeleton-bodied mutant creatures. Some of them even had time to lick the back of the main target's body. Not stopping there, the effect of the explosion was also grabbed some fuel oil drums that turned out to be still fully filled. The second and third explosions to the next were both unpretentious and almost deafening.

BLEGGAAAARR...!

PLEGGAAAAAARR.RR...!

In APC ANOA, Paramitha held both ears tight. All the bulletproof glass in the Pindad-made armored vehicle had a small tremble. The girl's breathing changed faster. Slowly he turned back towards the front. One of the trucks not far to the front left suddenly exploded up to a meter from the basement floor, making him duck back behind the driver's seat. After no further explosions were heard, Paramitha dared to raise her head while getting up. What appeared in front of him at this moment was the entire basement area being brightly lit by flames everywhere. The rest are still burning the walls and floors of the place due to some of the oil that is scattered because it is thrown in various directions.

“A—Ardana... Where is he? Ardana?”

Paramitha began to panic to find that Ardana was not within her sight. There were only a few mutant and undead creatures that roared in pain as they fell and woke up trying to extinguish the flames that continued to burn their bodies. Some of the sharks and various other strange creatures fell down when all the tumors in the head and chest erupted because they could not stand the heat.

The girl looked towards the back door of the hatch. He wanted to go out and find Ardana. His intention was forced to be undo when he saw the blaze still licking whatever was splashed by the oil from within the several exploding drums. The spill that had not been burned gradually was also engulfed by the fiery red whiz.

Meanwhile, what the girl was looking for was not good enough. Ardana tried to rise from behind the ruins of iron fragments and small buildings that hit his body. Not expecting his own actions to almost make his life float away, this young man smirked even though his back felt pain again, as well as his left wrist. Rolling around without heeding the ruins from above was not part of his idea, but it should also be accepted.

As he looked forward, the monitoring building burned to the inside. So great was the blaze that some iron structures in every corner of the place as well as on some vehicles began to turn red. The air around him was a little hot. Substances contained in the fuel oil that exploded earlier certainly contain a powerful effect.

“Where is Togar? He should have been on fire.” Ardana who realized Togar wasn't there turned left and right then back. The mutated secret army officer was nowhere to be seen among the mutant creatures and the undead that were burning alive.

“It is impossible to just disappear,” he continued while trying to stand up.

Ardana limped while pointing a weapon at some mutant creatures that were still roaring and running around. Occasionally he fired a shot at one or two of those who were still trying to attack him. No need to be flocked to scatter dozens more bullets. He decided to return to the Komodo Rantis which had been abandoned just in case. Once he knew the vehicle was not on fire, he felt very grateful. The APC ANOA where Paramitha was hiding also seemed fine. The iron box and other items were also saved.

“Mitha!” call him a little loud.

“You okay?” ardana asked, extending a hand.

Paramitha greeted him carefully while circulating a glance around them. Just like Ardana, he is also curious and tries to find Togar among the bodies of mutant creatures that are undead around them.

“Togar, Day. Where is that guy?” tanyakanya.

Ardana shook her head and turned her gaze towards the badly damaged monitoring building.

“Don't call him a human again, Mitha. The mutated creature seemed to have escaped. It must not be far from here. But.. I could see the back of his body licked by the fire.”

“How about Mr Ilham, you can already contact him? He certainly did not stop worrying about our situation.”

“Not yet. I still have trouble contacting him.”

Paramitha lowered her vow slightly while staring at the black stall that was within her grasp. He sounded a small sigh as he clenched his two lips. Ardana just watched the look on his face without trying to reprimand or caress. For a while the two were still standing facing each other without trying to look at each other.

Ardana emboldened himself to start by holding the hand of Paramitha. Like a jerk, the girl raised her face with an expression full of question marks. The young man left him for a moment to return to the top of the Komodo Rantis next to ANOA, where the finds of eight military trucks were secured. He appears to be sorting through some of the archives he sees as crucial to being moved into his backpack. The rest of the travel reports were burned. Not to forget, the Glock 41 pistol with special ammunition was also taken.

There was only a long black box that had not been opened. The object was eventually carried also by Ardana in his left hand.

“We'd better keep looking for a way out of here. I thought this was nearing the end,” he said as he returned to the front of Paramitha.

One of the Kopassus personnel walking in front of Ilham suddenly raised a fist. His two eyes that were always on the lookout found something that caught his attention. There was a bright enough concentration of light at the front end. Everyone in the small hallway stopped.

“What's up, Din?” tanya Ilham curious.

“As if there is a fire,” replied the Kopassus personnel rank two lieutenant named Didin it. “Something's been going on up ahead. Want to be forwarded there and check it out too, sir?”

Inspiration looked forward while frowning. This middle-aged man fell silent, not immediately deciding.

Didin and his three men looked at Ilham's face with a few question marks. They are ready to take the next order if needed.

“Let's see what's in there!” Ilham cocked his assault rifle while nodding firmly.

Without further command, the four Kopassus soldiers moved with Inspiration among them. Getting closer to the source of the brightly lit flame at the end there, the smell of charred flesh began to smell.
