Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
The Sticky Sickle Carrier

Ardana scrunched his forehead. Six meters in front of him was a steel door that allegedly covered the passageway and seemed to be tightly closed. He approached and checked his condition. The look of heavy rust lining most of the door signifies that anyone who has been there seems to never open it. Sure enough, when Ardana tried to do it she had trouble. Like being locked from another part of the passageway behind it.

This young man ruffled his hair while thinking hard. Around it there were no hard objects that could be used to forcefully gouge the steel door.

“If I had brought the liquid corrosine. But, how do you know if you will find something like this?” he muttered while wailing.

He suddenly stopped moving and looked back. Whether you feel sure or not, before getting to where he is now he had time to pass through several rooms on the left and right side of the hallway which is open. But because it feels no need to check it so just passed it.

“Who knows?” Ardana rushed back to the passageway, hoping to find various objects that were very useful to open the steel door earlier.

Three minutes later he got there. Ardana started entering the first room on the right side. There was not much he found other than explosive powder that had somehow been stored in an iron box whose hinge cover had been broken. It was no more than an adult fist and was wrapped in a white cloth tied up to resemble a pocong. Seeing its shape, this young man had shuddered in horror but amused. Next, from the next nine rooms he got a two-meter-long piece of axle rope, versatile scissors and rusty wire in a rolled state.

It took quite a long time to gather everything together as he was also interested in checking every vault in every room. Instead of finding important documents or mysterious emblems that Paramitha told her about, there were only warrants and technical maintenance places that were not so important to her.

An impromptu idea popped into his head after the objects were gathered. Remembering the bomb that Ilham used when breaking through the concrete layer above, Ardana wanted to try to make a similar weapon even though it actually seemed primitive.

“It looks like this passageway will vibrate violently. Hopefully it doesn't collapse,” he said.

After returning to the front of the steel door, all the materials were placed on the floor. At first he stretched out a coil of wire and cut out the necessary parts. One part of the explosive powder bag container was opened to insert the strap wick and tied back loosely. The pieces of wire are wrapped around the left and right sides of the container and then affixed to the steel door in a horizontal position with the spiced part facing up. In order to hold it, each wire is linked to the hinge slit section that is in each corner of the top and bottom of the steel door. The simple bomb was successfully completed even though its manufacture was only assisted by flashlight lighting.

Ardana takes pride in his primitive work. He took a step back far enough from the steel door to fire a flare gun. Although not sure it will be right on target, the curiosity to try it is greater. The weapon is not used to attack other than to fire a flare into the air as a signal for help or so on. But that's all it can do to spark if it touches anything flammable.

The flare gun was positioned somewhat close to the floor but did not touch. Its large, short barrel is directed up to thirty-five degrees upward. Ardana took a deep breath while sitting almost crouching down. His index finger pulled the trigger very gently and with great caution.

Bumps!

Zssssss!

A bright yellow round object shot quickly towards the steel door with a curved movement from the bottom up. The beacon fired made the hallway brightly lit for a few seconds before hitting the door and grazing slightly at the part of the cloth container which then burned small.

BLEGGAAARR!!

Explosions also occurred. For a few moments the walls of the hall shook violently to make the ceiling crack together with the banging of several pieces of steel doors that were smashed into pieces. Thick coils of smoke spread rapidly in the passageway up to a distance of tens of meters behind him. The sound of a heavy object falling down was quite loud.

Ardana spontaneously threw himself onto the floor while holding tightly onto the kevlar helmet on the head. He forcedly closed his eyes and held his breath, waiting for the thick smoke that enveloped him to gradually dissipate. A few small fragments of the cracked hallway wall also flew towards his face.

His face lowered while watching the shaggy steel door barely form on the floor. The edges seemed to melt a little. This young man was shocked and amazed. The explosive he found earlier turned out to have a pretty powerful explosive power even though it has not been given a mixture of special chemical compounds.

Ardana raised her face back forward then stepped over the steel door wreckage under her feet. Behind what was originally thought to be a passageway turned out to be another room that was almost the same area as the prison cell he had passed before.

“Room again?” He entered while circulating his flashlight light to find out.

Again Ardana should save the breath. The stench faintly smelled. It originated from dozens of cloth parcels that form the body of a bound human. They were all hung with iron chains that extended from the top up to twelve meters. The existing chains are interconnected and centered on a gap in the middle of the ceiling of the room that forms a dome. Ardana could not believe what he found at this time. Not only that, in the corner there are four iron tubes without glass as high as four meters that seem to be used to store something. His condition seemed a little broken from being beaten into something from the outside and inside.

“Pak Ilham? Logging in! I found a new room. It looks like a human body storage but I don't know what it's for. There are dozens of bundles cradled pocong hanging upside down,” he said reporting through a communication tool.

[Yes? Look around you, who knows if there are other findings?] Inspiration responded quickly. It seemed that the middle-aged man did not disable the communication system.

Ardana hurried to explore the entire room. On the right he found an iron door that was locked by a simple combination of numbers. A figure of a soldier's body fell in front of him with both hands outstretched in that direction. From his face that began to break, it was clear that there was an overwhelming fear that he experienced before he died. When examined, Ardana found an elongated flat hole in the back of her head.

This young man immediately remembered the body of an unknown resident who was found up there a few days ago, while conducting an investigation with Ilham. The same hole is also found in the body, still in the back of the head.

Zriiiiit! Zriiiiit!

The sound of sharp objects being dragged rough made Ardana turn around quickly. Reflex, he turned off all the flashlight. Both of his eyes were squeaking suspiciously while glancing left and right. To make sure that he did not hear wrong, Ardana held back all movement and sharpened his hearing again.

“Duh, that's what else? It seems like those creatures could smell the existence of humans in an unexpected way,” he muttered.

The same voice was heard. Faster and closer than before, as if something that caused it was inside the same room. Ardana immediately activated her advanced glasses ability to ensure.

“Oh, that's it!” he was caught, barely heard.

A creature with a body wrapped in the remains of a broken shroud was torn off and had just entered through the door that had been destroyed by Ardana. His blackish-gray skin seemed to be rotting with many incision wounds that were still draining blood. The flesh of his broken cheeks full of holes made his lower jaw hang so that his mouth gaping. His sharp red eyes barked wildly in various directions, like he was trying to find something.

Ardana could only move quietly and sneak around while watching the four-meter-high creature swing the scythe with the stick in his hand. Wrapping all the packages containing human bodies that block it. The horrible figure that Ardana just saw then tore one of the bodies in a package and then ate it greedily.
