Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway

Biohazard's Catastrophe: Death's Hallway
Nightmare

Paramitha opened her eyes. Somehow, he knew he was already in a concrete walled hall that was quite spacious and dark that seemed endless. In his right hand was clutched a flaming flashlight, which he also did not know where it came from. Surprised by what he saw now, the light-emitting object came loose and fell near his feet.

“This....what is this place? How can I be here?” his hisses are full of questions.

He looked back. What appeared in his view was only a thick black veil of color. The girl tried to grab the flashlight that had fallen, hoping that what she was experiencing right now was a dream in her sleep.

“Eh.” This girl was stunned as soon as she realized that the light-emitting object felt very real.

If this is really a dream, it is impossible. But in reality he could feel, smell and hear everything clearly. A fishy smell, a cold gust of wind pierced to the sigh of his breath.

Though previously he was lying soundly in his room at Bu Nina's house. When looking back at her clothes, she was still wearing pink pajamas with a maroon woll jacket. Similarly, both of his feet are sandals.

The drap! The drap! The drap!

From a distance ahead there was the sound of many people walking. Like there were a lot of shoes being snapped in unison. Paramitha ventured to step foot toward the source of the sound while shining a flashlight forward. Now it seems clear that the hallway where it is located has many rooms on the left and right.

His attention was focused on one of the rooms on the right side of the hallway whose iron door was wide open.

Paramitha was silent in front of the room while paying close attention to the condition of the door that had been heavily rusted. In the middle there is a symbol that looks familiar to him. A golden snake wrapped around a knife whose tip was facing upwards. On his left and right side was a pair of black snakes that curved in a semicircle in opposite directions. Slowly his hand touched the emblem as his mind continued to find out.

“I'm like I've seen this emblem. But... where?”

Curiosity then pushed the girl into the room. There were seven vaults, six of which were wide open with papers strewn across the floor. It is quite large and can be used by humans to hide in it. Some tables and chairs are still neatly arranged. Just another sight left him aghast. On each table was a remnant of blood that had hardened. Several photos of the sturdy-faced man in the army uniform were also exposed and fused with him.

The papers scattered around the six open vaults also caught his attention. Carefully he checked several randomly selected sheets. Both eyes enlarged when knowing the contents of everything is an order to experiment on some people who are characterized by appearance characteristics.

*Order Number 216: Trial execution of a thin-faced man in a gray jacket.

Emergency Order Number 13: To continue the experiment on farmed men with moles under the eyes.

Warrant Number 465: Big-eyed man in cell 7 to be immediately submitted to the subject of trial number 0015*.

BRAKK!!

The sound of a falling object in the same room shocked Paramitha, making this girl stand reflex while directing the light into the corner. The seventh place of the vault was lined up.

The cupboard in seventh place that was closed somehow fell down just like that. Paramitha did not go directly to the object because it should have fallen down in a collapsed state, not sideways as he sees it now. To make sure there was nothing strange, Paramitha approached while extending a hand. The door handle has been grasped and only needs to be pulled because it is not locked.

Krieeet!

Paramitha held her breath as she opened the door of the seventh cupboard slowly. Not yet fully opened, suddenly from inside there appeared six red tentacles covered in a deep yellow slime that instantly snared his neck and both hands.

“Aaaakkhh!” Paramitha gave a startled glance as she thrashed in pain. His body fell to the side.

“Hah? Impossible!” said panic.

The tentacles that had attacked him suddenly disappeared. What was now visible from the contents of the seventh cupboard in front of him was only a pile of paper that could not be counted with fingers. Paramitha breathed as deeply as possible despite still panting amidst her panic.

Between confusion and curiosity, this girl stood up again while rubbing her elbow which was a little pain due to colliding with the floor when she fell. This time he was surprised. The room that previously only contained chairs, tables and cabinets with scattered papers changed into another wider place.

Paramitha wanted to screech but her neck seemed to be choking on something. In front of him there are many bodies of people who are not intact and without clothes that are no longer alive. All of them were hung with their own skin, roughly tied to iron chains that intertwined with each other. Below it are rows of beds on the left and right filled with other human bodies. They are still alive despite being in terrible condition with a body full of cuts and torn clothes.

All of a sudden all of the bodies that were hanged lived and regenerated into various creepy mutant creatures that all had tentacles. Their big hands immediately clawed and grabbed another human lying on the bed. The creatures roared with anger. The tentacles that sprung from all the bodies of the new monsters quickly pulled the living humans up. To be finished with a brutal shake.

“AAAAAAAAAA..!”

“HAAAAAAAAKKKHH.!”

While the massacre was still ongoing, from the front of Paramitha appeared several other creatures with height above normal humans. Their form was no less terrible with a body full of intense burns that were blackish red. Their upper and lower jaws partially disappear, leaving the inside of the neck and organs in the body open. Among them was a body wrapped in a shroud that almost resembles a rotting mummy.

The most sinister figure without a lower jaw that stands at the front is aware of the presence of Paramitha. His eyes that were only on the left glared sharply and then brandished the large arithmetic fused with his hand towards the girl.

THE BRUAKK!!

YOOOOOOOORRRR!!

The wall between the room and the passageway was destroyed causing severe damage. Luckily, Paramitha was already some distance away from the attack range. He kept running without looking back. Only his ears were constantly on standby in order to keep their distance.

Paramitha began to be confused. Wherever he ran, the passage passed seemed endless. Even branching from a fork to a crossroad that he himself does not know which direction to choose. Only occasionally turn in a direction that he thinks is right.

“Where is the exit? This place seems to have no end.”

After a few minutes of searching the road, he came across a long, straight passageway. At the front end was a speck of light with the silhouette of a human figure standing in the middle.

“Finally, that's it!”

Paramitha was running faster than ever. His passion to reach the white spot is getting hotter. Getting closer, the silhouette figure earlier started to clearly see him. A young man in a dark green tactical uniform with combat gear and a fully armed kevlar helmet. His face was very familiar in the eyes of the girl.

Ardana stood there, spread out his hands to Paramitha.

“A little more, Mitha! I've been waiting—.“

THE BRUAKK!!

“Aaaaaaaaarrrgghh..!”

The wall of the hall to the left of Ardana suddenly collapsed followed by the appearance of a large high-bodied monstrous figure who had been hunting Paramitha. The young man fell to the ground in ruins. He seemed to struggle to get up and look back until then something sharp targeted his body.

“Aardaaan..!” peekit Paramitha's.

Zraatts!

Ardana was in pain without even shouting. His neck was torn with blood pouring down. Not long after, he was killed right in front of the girl. While the large tall creature of red stature charred blackness smirked in satisfaction.

“ARDANAAAA..!”

Paramitha's sight instantly became pitch black.

“HAAAAH...! Hhh... hhhh... hhh..

Paramitha almost jumped in shock from the bed. Her breath was a little heavy like a person who had just finished running a long distance. Between panic and confusion, the girl attempts to regain her consciousness. A few seconds later, he started to control himself again. His eyes surrounded the entire room he was in. This is still the room in Miss Nina's house. Nothing has changed at all.

“It turns out that it was just a dream,” his sigh was relieved while rubbing the sweat on the forehead.

With a slight tremble he took out a glass of still-full drinking water on the table next to the bed. The hiccups of his freshness helped his mind regain its calm. But as Ardana's figure flashed through his mind, his worries surfaced.

A moment later Paramitha got up and grabbed her maroon woll jacket and walked out of the room. After turning on the living room lights, he sat on the chair while closing his eyes. The horrible dream made it hard to go back to sleep.

The shadow of the last moments of his dream made him want to meet Ardana.
