“Let's see, what other kind of guests are coming at us?”
Ardana again activates the advanced features of its tactical glasses which have been budgeted for a while. His vision became clearer now. Far ahead there, behind the rows of scattered army corpses extending forward, was the silhouette of something large that was creeping slowly on the floor. The creature was also found swallowing the corpse of a round army closest to him, chewed it a while and then regurgitated it in the form of crumbs and full of thick mucus.
The form of the creature reminded Ardana of the figure of a large leech that emerged from the ground when the second night of investigation was carried out with Ilham. When turning the body towards the back, there is also a silhouette with the same shape. Paramitha just kept silent while looking at him. It was obvious curiosity from the look in his eyes.
“There are two big leeches in front and back. Very easy to kill but can not be from close range.” Ardana turned her head alternately to the front and back while reaching into something on her body.
“So, how to?” ask Paramitha.
“You can use this?” The young man showed me the grenade in his hand.
Paramitha nodded, “Can, earlier I used it when facing the corpse of Togar.”
Although somewhat hesitant, Ardana still gave the girl a grenade. Because the width of the passageway was not as wide as the one in the area above, both of them had to take advantage of the opportunity as best they could and not miss let alone until it bounced back towards them. While Paramitha stood facing back, Ardana ventured forward to approach the giant leech creature nearly thirty meters from its original position.
His concern had appeared to imagine the explosion of a grenade was not able to finish off the monster in one explosion. It would be troublesome if you had to do it twice. An alternative scenario that came to his mind was to use firearms. But it is still difficult if the distance is too close, especially the giant leech in front of him is able to reach food within a distance of nearly eight meters as he is currently seeing. The moody and greedy creature seemed to not care about his presence and chose the focus of devouring every human corpse he encountered.
Its wide gaping mouth let out an additional jaw that resembled an oblong clump that jutted forward. The jaw was also able to open wide with a row of sharp teeth bathed in red mucus that is able to destroy the skull, although in reality not too useful. Although never chose the IPA department, watching such a scene makes Ardana not be out of thought with anyone who is desperate to create a creature like a giant leech.
“Try this one!” exclaimed Ardana stuck while slightly bowing. After that he ran back towards Paramitha.
The kling!
Gluttony! Gluttony!
Seeing a human running away from him all of a sudden, the giant leech regurgitated a rotting corpse that had just been swallowed half from waist to foot. His attention was on Ardana and was lured after her. But a rather oblong round object had already rolled towards him.
BLEGGAAARR...!
The soft creature's body instantly shattered apart with the contents of its head and innards thrown in various directions. Most of the small almost hit the back of Ardana's body that escaped. Some pieces of meat even burned. Hearing the sound of the explosion earlier, this young man paused for a moment and looked back to witness his own work.
Meanwhile, another giant leech has appeared only a dozen meters in front of Paramitha. Although it was clear that the creature had started to move towards him, he had not yet thrown the grenade that Ardana had given him. Paramitha instead moved back as much as one inch, as if letting its prey continue to approach.
“Hah, Paramitha? What is he doing?!” A shocked Ardana rushed over while pointing his gun to prepare to shoot.
BLEGGAAARR...!
Just like the fate of his kind who was ahead there, the giant leech was smashed into pieces to half his body. Ardana who was flabbergasted reached Paramitha's hand which sat on the floor of the hallway. Both legs of the girl turned out to feel weak when running away after successfully inserting a grenade into the mouth of the creature earlier.
“You all right?” asked Ardana while caressing Paramitha's face. His eyes showed anxiety over what he had seen.
Paramitha nodded while still directing her gaze to the leech that had just exploded. The girl slowly stood up again with the help of Ardana.
“My feet suddenly go limp. We go slowly,” he lamented.
Ardana glanced at Paramitha's feet. “Sick, or how?” tanyakanya.
“It looks like because it's not used to running too fast more than I can. I have never felt a situation like this,” replied Paramitha while moving her legs slowly.
Ardana. He felt the same way on both of his legs. It's just that it still lasts a little longer and isn't too limp. The most troublesome part was precisely on his back, where he still had to carry a load of backpacks containing his own equipment as well as explosives he had taken from the armory. His bruises are still not healed. However, not wanting to appear weak in Paramitha's eyes, he chose to hold her back. Someone must be a buffer for others in the midst of difficulties faced together.
“Then, where are we going now?” tanyakanya. Ardana begins to try to divert the atmosphere that begins to provoke her melancholic side.
“Straight... In the front there is another room, on the left. If we continue to follow this path there are several curves that lead directly to another exit. It's just that I don't remember for sure what the place is,” Paramitha replied as she turned her head in the direction in question.
Ardana rechecked his ammunition before restarting the journey. This time he walked right beside Paramitha, no longer behind her. This young man used the opportunity to help the girl walk even without being asked. His left hand gently grasped Paramitha's arm, helping her through the carcass of a giant leech that was still burning small.
“Be careful,” says Ardana.
Paramitha stepped carefully while watching the carcass of the mutant leech, half of which was no longer shaped. Had accidentally stepped on the piece of human hand that was poking out from within the torn intestine, the girl immediately got rid of it. The part of the body that is not intact was shifted right in front of Ardana's eyes. This young man reflexively closed his mouth and nose while closing his eyes in order to prevent himself from vomiting again.
“Eh? Sorry, I was not accidentally.” Paramitha gave a faint smile to him.
Ardana can only gawk while holding back nausea that reappears.
