To Mutia

To Mutia
Nominee

Mutia rushed out of the room towards the door of the house, when she heard the sound of the bell being pressed repeatedly impatiently. Even because of being too rushed, Mutia did not even have time to hang a small towel that a while ago she used to dry Joseph's body after bathing. Luckily he did not forget to cover the tiny body of his son who had not been dressed and put a small roll on both sides of Joseph's body so that the four-month-old baby did not fall.

Mbah Sriti was going to the market, while the other residents had already gone to work. Mutia herself was on a work holiday, so there was only her and Joseph at home.

"Wait a minute."

Accelerating her footsteps, Mutia rushed to reach for the door handle, unlocked it, then pulled the rectangular object inside and a second later Mutia's body was almost unsteady due to the hug she suddenly got.

"Mutia, kangen!" said someone who is now hugging him with a carefree tone and amused stiffness.

"Arumi?" to make sure that she did not misrecognize the voice of the woman who was now embracing her, Mutia grabbed the woman's shoulder and slightly pushed it, creating some distance.

"Oh my God, it's really Arumi!" Mutia exclaimed furiously. A wide smile graced her face and this time it was Mutia who pulled Arumi into her arms.

The two women hugged while laughing amusedly and jumping around like children, forgetting for a moment the fact that they were already a mother.

"God willing, I miss you, Rum" said Mutia after their hug came off. His black bead scanned Arumi's body which now appeared to be contained. "Beautiful and fertile, Rum."

"Holy? I guess I plant it." A moment Arumi scowled, but then smiled while holding Mutia's hand. "I miss you too, Mut. God, we haven't seen each other in a year."

Mutia. "Why don't you tell me you want to go to Bali? And.. how do you know where I live, because as I recall never share your same address."

Before Arumi answered, there was a deheman voice that managed to attract the attention of the two. Mutia looked at the pulmonary woman who had just cleared her throat with a confused look, when Arumi grinned widely, feeling guilty for ignoring the woman.

"Auntie Sekar?"

"Hi, dear." I kindly greeted Mutia, then hugged the woman warmly.

Mutia returned the hug of Arumi's mother-in-law with a frowning forehead, then threw a questioning gaze at her best friend, but Arumi only responded by raising her eyebrows and smiling meaningfully.

"How are you, honey?" asked Sekar after releasing his embrace to Mutia.

Sekar looked at Mutia warmly while smiling motherly, just like many years ago when he first met Sekar at the wedding of Arumi and Sultan. The woman who used to always welcome him and Kavira was friendly when visiting Arumi and never absent to provide snacks and drinks for them.

At that moment in her heart Mutia murmured, how lucky Arumi was to get Mother-in-law as good as Sekar and hoped that he would also get luck like Arumi. Unfortunately, he married Haikal and had a mother-in-law who did not like him, even until they finally separated.

"Alhamdullilah, I'm healthy. Aunt herself how?"

"If auntie doesn't need to be asked. Old man, it's natural to be sick." moving his hand, Sekar rubbed the side of Mutia's face gently.

He had always wanted to have a daughter, but God gave him two heroes. But it doesn't matter, because now he already has Arumi and Gem, even soon there will be a new member in their family.

"Oh yeah, auntie, Arumi, come on in. Sorry, but forgot to step in." a little step away from the doorway, Mutia invited the two other women of that age to come in and asked her both to sit on the living room couch, he went to the kitchen to make a drink and bring snacks.

"Diminum, auntie, Arumi" Mutia said as she served two glasses of cold fruit juice and several pieces of oreo brownies. "Sorry, I can only serve this, aunt."

"Geez, Mut, you say sorry a lot. No, not pa-pa."

Pulling Mutia's hand, Sekar invited the woman in her twenties to sit beside him.

"Auntie heard from Arumi, you already have a child, Mut."

Mutia smiled with sparkling eyes. "Yes, aunt. Male and now four months old." then he patted his forehead, making Sekar and Arumi look at him with frowning forehead as Mutia got up from sitting.

"Ouch, aunt. Sorry, I stayed a while. I just finished taking Joseph's bath and haven't dressed him yet."

"Astaghfirullah, Mutia! Baby Yusuf must be cold. Tega you."

Mutia stiffened. "How else, I forgot." Mutia said goodbye to Sekar again, before walking quickly to his room, unaware of Sekar and Mutia following him.

After taking Joseph's clothes and sitting on the edge of the bed, Mutia only realized the presence of Sekar and Arumi who were standing in the doorway.

"Well, auntie, Arumi, since when's there? Come on, come in."

Without asking twice, the in-laws and daughter-in-law approached Mutia, then sat on the edge of the bed, observing Mutia who seemed flexible to take care of her child.

"Your baby is handsome, Mut. What's name?" Sekar asked while rubbing gently with caution the cheeks of Mutia's child that looked filled.

"His name is Evando Yusuf Adibrata. The call is Joseph, aunt."

"And Mami should know, who love that name is her future husband, Mutia." Arumi blinked her eyes, making Mutia look down embarrassed, when Sekar looked at her fixedly while making a smile.

"Ahh... So you're getting married soon, honey?" said Sekar with a seductive tone.

"Not yet, aunt." Mutia's cheeks were hot. He was sure that part must have blushed red. "I haven't even met her parents. I'm also not sure that her parents will accept me as a widow of one child." Mutia's voice was heard softly at the end of the sentence.

"Oh, honey." I rubbed Mutia's arm. "Not everyone is so narrow-minded. Maybe the mother of your future husband is happy, because you have managed to steal his child's heart, making the child finally want to decide to get married, he said, after a long time he was worried about the condition of his son who never wanted to establish a relationship."

Mutia smiled and guaranteed Sekar's words in her heart.

"Oh yes, aunt Arumi has any needs in Bali, because Arumi did not really want to come here."

"I want to give you a surprise." said Arumi while chuckling, who responded Mutia with a soft coil.

"Tante wants to meet the prospective ghost." this time Sekar who gave an answer while looking at Mutia with an ambiguous smile.

"Mantu candidate? Oh, aunt's youngest son is getting married?"

Sekar nodded.

"When, tan?"

"If aunty, anyway, she wants it as soon as possible. Aunty can't wait to carry Yudha's granddaughter." a smile grew wider, then her laughter and Arumi sounded filled the room as the two looked at her.

"Yudha?"

Mutia scrunched her forehead. Why is the name of her future husband the same as the name of Sekar's youngest son? But before voicing his confusion, Sriti's voice called out to him, telling Yudha's arrival and a second later the figure had already walked into his room.

"Mommy? The arumi? You guys.." The surprised look he was pointing at the two women of different ages who were now looking at him with amused twinkle and lips turned a smile.

"Hi, Mas Yudha." greeted Arumi innocently.

"Wait for you to bring Mutia later, so Mami initiative comes here with Arumi."

Sekar ogled a conspiracy against the Sultan's wife, making Yudha sigh slowly.

"Oh my God, you are so impatient." when his eyes fell on Mutia, he found her looking at them alternately with a cengo look.

"Mut, she's my mother. And Mami, she's Mutia, my future wife." Yudha.

"Mami knows you, really. Isn't that right, Rum?" Sekar glanced at Arumi, who immediately got a nod from his daughter-in-law. "Even before you knew Mutia."

Yudha frowned. "How can you?"

When Yudha turned to Mutia, asking for an explanation of the meaning of her mother's words, Yudha instead found the woman shaking with a blank look.

Oh my God, Mas Yudha his aunt Sekar and his brother-in-law Arumi. Mutia was immediately struck by a feeling of fear.
