Chapter 60. First Day at New School

Usually my days are always excited, but this time my day feels lethargic and not passionate. I feel like this is my worst day, I need to be ready to step into a new environment. I'm not ready to face today. 

"Ri... Have you brought all of his books? You're in IPA class 1.. It's all muslims he said." My mother was preparing food for me in the kitchen. 

"Yes, it's Ma.." Answer's short.

"Jaudah yuk we leave, the first day of school can not be late." 

"Yes Maa.." I'm wearing my shoes." 

Mom and Dad drove to a new school this morning. I'm glad they always support me in anything when I'm down. I am so grateful to have parents like them. 

"Ri, it's here. We anterin Riri until the gate.. Riri is great.. It could be alone." Mama said while looking at me.

"Hmm yes ma..." Reply slowly.

"Well, this is pocket money for Riri, enough?" Ask Father.

"Enough Sir."

"Later home from school try to ride an angkot, son." Sahut Mama's.

"Yes Ma... Yaudah I'm coming down.. Assalamualaikum." I said salim to Mom and Dad.

I got out of the car and walked through the gate of my new school. Many students looked at me like they were entering another world. I walked towards the principal's room.

"Hello Riri's.. Ready to go to school here?" The Headmaster asked as he embraced me.

"Hmm God willing, sir." Answer's short. 

"Yaudah you wait for your homeroom teacher first.. You'll come in with him."

"Good Sir." 

As I waited for my homeroom teacher, it wasn't long before I saw one of my teachers teaching in my old school.

"Loh Sir.. Not here but in Halim?" I asked to surprise him.

"Lohh, what are you here for? Moving schools?"

"Yes sir..." I answered salim with him.

"Well I'll see you and I'll be studying computers here." 

"Here are you teaching Computers too?" 

"Italianahh.. What class are you in?"

"I'm class 2 IPA 1 Sir."

"OK good - stay here.. I go first."

"Saputri Riri?" Ask one of the teachers who approached me.

"I... Yes Ma..." Answer nervously.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, come with me to class." 

"Good Mom."

My class on the 2nd floor, I climbed up a tall ladder. In my old school there was no level, but my school used to be wide up to the back of her class. It was a different atmosphere than my old school. 

"Assynolajet.. Morning children." 

"Walaikumsalam Ma'am... Good Morning Buuu..."

"This morning we have a new student. Please introduce yourself Ri."

"Good Mom. My name is Riri Saputri, I transferred from school in Halim. Greetings to all... Please help.." 

"Hello Riri...." All my new friends in IPA class.

"Jaudah Riri please sit in an empty place..." My homeroom teacher.

"Good.. Thank you, Mom." I also sat 3 from behind. 

"Here Ri.." Said one of my friends who would be my countrymen.

"Yes, thanks yahh.." Reply slowly.

"Known.. My name is Tami." Tami replied as she shook my hand.

"Relain..."

"Yes, you've been acquainted in front of hahaha.."

"Yeah hehehe.."

"Our children begin to learn yes, if you want to acquaintance with Riri later just fitting break."

"Yes later to his acquaintance..." Answer my homeroom teacher. 

All day I was really forced to learn new material, because it turned out that in my old school the material was quite far behind. Turns out I still have to keep working hard in this IPA class.

When the break arrived I only wanted to be in the classroom, not ready to meet with other students whose number is more than my old school friends. 

"Hi Ri's..." Friend sebrang from my bench. 

"Heh, don't flirt lo To." Tami Ledek.

"Eh don't do that dong Tam, Anto again this effort to know the girl again." One of my friends I still don't know whose name it is. Daritadi he always nosy bothers me with words he said.

"Anto Gue. Lo from Halim huh?" Anto asked and she introduced herself while shaking my hand.

"Oh yesa Riri. Iyaa. Greetings. Why mother?" Ask me for wonder.

"Know Sasa and Timo dong?" Tanya Anto was serious.

"Timo sohib I'm in class. If Sasa used to be my classmate fit first class. How do you know?"

"Ohh sohib lo ya hahahaha..." Anto answered while laughing cynically.

"Know me Rendy. That was Anto's ex." Sahut Randy who has been nosy since disturbing Anto and me. 

"Oh, your name is Rendy. I am Riri." My answer.

"Yeah I'm Rendy hahaha is I still sad? Sori yaa's.. I love the guy ceplas - ceplos. Emang si Anto aja shy - shy to meet you. She said you were pretty." Rendy with long.

"Please you Ren." Anto answered in shame.

"Ohh, you have a red face.. Eh you know how to like people. Ah jaim really lo."

"Don't beat Rendy yaa Ri." Answer Anto.

"Well, his name is also joking." My answer.

"But seriously you know them?" Ask Anto again.

"Hmm yes... I've known you are in the same story Timo, dulul lo fight right? Si Sasa cheated on Timo from lo. Oh it turns out you're the guy.... Even though Timo is very good with me, he does not want me to cheat on my guy. Eh, he knows he's a girl grabber, huh hahaha..." 

"Oh, Timo, same story?" 

"Yes, she used to confide in me. But until now they're lasting."

"Well, I've only been dating Ri for a year." Anto replied annoyed.

"Yes a year long enough dong To."

"Well, I've been three years." 

"Jaudah is not your soul mate, there may be something better later. Ikhlasin.."

"Yeah Amiiinnn... Why did you move Ri?"

"Hmmm because I want the country first. But yeah, just moved in now." Answer lies. I don't want a lot of people to know that I'm moving because of that someone, just tell Yori my boyfriend.

"Ohh that, really nanggung has just moved second semester. It's the same old school." Answer. Anto.

"Yes, hehehe..." I answered briefly while cleaning up my books. 

"Will not go to Ri's canteen?" Ask Anto again.

"Ih Anto nih from earlier yaaa very flirtatious nanya - nanya Riri mulu yaa..." Ledek Tami who also did not leave the class. 

"Fast you Tam. So noisy. Eat you big." Anto Ledek.

"Ihhhh Anto nih." Tami replied whining.

"Will not go to Tam's canteen? I'm taking supplies so I don't go to the cafeteria." My Word.

"Ohhh you bring the provisions. I haven't laper Ri, I'll have my second break to the cafeteria." Tami replied, leaning her body against the wall.

"Lo gap, isn't Tam sitting in the corner because I'm gini?" My toot.

"Eh gapapa, later if you are in the room you have trouble coming out." 

"Yaudah thank you Tam."

"Yes the same - Ri, later if there is a lesson that you do not understand you can it's me or other friends yes Ri." 

"Thank you Tam." 

It turned out that my first day at the new school wasn't as bad as I had imagined. But I haven't been able to take some lessons. I really need to study properly here.
