Chapter 8: Dungeon Boss

I continued my search in the cornfield. My steps sounded heavy on the ground. While grabbing the nape, I felt my hair bristling. I don't know why this cornfield has become a little scary.

My breaths panting. I fought long enough against this scarecrow. There were still about twenty monsters left around me. When my eyes scanned them again, the names of the monsters turned white.

“My level has matched them, I think now it's okay to use the skill,” I said while activating Shadow Move.

A dark veil wrapped around my body, in a single breath, both of my feet stepped very fast and slashed out a single attack on each of the monsters' bodies. When I turned around, the head of the monster had already fallen from each other's bodies, then all of them died instantly.

“Kraa!” The monster shouted while wagging one of its wings. The resulting wind was so strong that I was thrown a few meters back.

Horror ambushed me, this crow-shaped monster exuded a terrifying aura. I felt a great pressure from him. Both my legs were shaking.
