The Train to The Dungeon

The Train to The Dungeon
Chapter 24: Ogre

The huge tall building that loomed before me was the ‘istana’ belonging to the goblin king. Consisting of five levels joined by wooden stairs, the building looked spacious and sturdy from the outside. In the highest pavilion was heard a growling sound.

From the door of the main pavilion came a giant figure three meters high. His skin was green, his body was a large tall muscular body with long black hair. It has a pair of fiery red eyes and large, sharp canine teeth. His body was covered in armor and his left hand raised the body of a woman I knew.

“Mama!” Chika exclaims that Takala saw his mother, fainting in the goblin king's grasp.

“Although he is king, but his form is not like a goblin,” muttered me while scanning the monster.

Appearing a line of short names, “Ogre” is red on top of the monster's head along with its long line of HP bars. This monster had already passed twice the stage of evolution, deservedly he became the king of the goblins.

“Ogre.” I looked at the monster, horror. In the Hunter Association manual, Ogre belonged to a Class A monster. They are aggressive, reliable fighters with terrible strength, but very agile. It won't be an easy fight, especially since the rank of this monster is above mine.

The tring!

[Quest: Reach the location of the goblin leader (1/1)]

The screen of the system appeared, but something new the first time I saw happened. The writing on the screen was gone like experiencing a glitch, then the quest command changed.

[Quest: Kill the Ogre (0/0)]

I swallowed spit. In my heart, I was actually excited waiting for a solid and challenging fight. However, realizing that there are other lives that I have to prioritize here, I better hope the monsters I face are not too difficult in order to minimize the casualties.

Chika was unable to see the condition of her mother, she ran towards the Ogre, but fortunately Ravi caught her body quickly.

“Stop, Ravi! I want to save Mama!” Chika rebels.

“Are you stupid? If you rashly attack, the monster will kill your mother!” ravi jolts while strengthening the arm cage in Chika's body.

Although Ravi's body is smaller than Chika's, but because she is a Rank A Hunter, her power is automatically much bigger and stronger than the girl. Chika finally got tired and stopped fighting. Her tears spilled and she was crying.

The ogre raised his hand that grasped the body of Aunt Tara. My eyes widened as he threw Aunt Tara away, like throwing away an unused toy.

Ravi who was closest to the direction of falling Aunt Tara immediately jumped and caught the woman. He landed next to Chika, carried Aunt Tara and laid her down on the grass.

“Mama, wake up!” chika exclaimed while shaking her mother's body.

Ravi watched Aunt Tara closely, her clothes as ripped and displaying her skin. Ravi swiftly took off his uniform and used it to cover Aunt Tara's body. I admit though his mouth is not friendly, but his attitude is quite gentle to older women.

Ravi stared in astonishment at the bottom of Aunt Tara's body. Her eyes caught the white viscous liquid flowing from under her skirt.

“What is this?” ravi asked while touching the liquid. The boy sniffed it and he frowned instantly.

Chika who saw his expression, immediately stared at the thick white liquid between Ravi's fingers. He quickly realized what his mother had been through. The girl's face hardened, anger also grieved her.

“Monster jerk!” exclaim Chika, angry.

While running, Chika jumped high in the air. He called for his strongest technique.

“Path of Chaos, Spider Lily!”

When Chika mentioned “Path of Chaos”, she was activating the blessing power of the God.

The Hunter, who gets the blessing of a God, has one superior ability by activating the help of the blessing. The power generated using blessings would be many times stronger, while simultaneously draining a large amount of energy.

Chika's body emitted a purple light, on top of her head appeared a black-colored eight-way symbol.

Electricity splashed from all over his body, he threw the threads that formed a web like a spider web.

Great and terrible power, and,. Its attack range was wide and its destructive power was quite strong. The building was destroyed and collapsed instantly, becoming rubble strewn across the black grass as it was burned by electricity.

Chika looked exhausted, she used all her strength to launch the technique. But I feel like it's a bad idea. My eyes could not find the whereabouts of the Ogre earlier. He managed to escape from Chika's thread before the attack hit him.

“Chika! Careful!” myrag.

I just told you, behind Chika appears as big as the Ogre shadow. The giant raised his left hand which was carrying an axe with a large sharp knife on its head. Chika who was too weak would not be able to dodge.

Before the axe blade split her body in two, I managed to jump to where they were and snatched Chika's body. While wiping it, I twisted my body and descended down.

“I couldn't even realize his whereabouts,” muttered Chika, full of regrets. “Sorry, I'm sloppy.”

“It's okay, please don't be rash like earlier,” I said while lowering it.

I need to clear my head. It was not only Chika who was angry after knowing the heinous deeds that Ogre had done to Aunt Tara. My heart was boiling, my hands were clenched with emotion and in the contents of my head there was only the intention to crush the giant to the smallest part of its body.

“Fucking monsters,” umpatku. But I can't be selfish here. My eyes glanced at the eleven other women who had just been removed from the wooden cage. They looked frightened and helpless.

“Ravi, Chika, take all the hostages out of here,” my orders.

“How about you?” ask Ravi.

“I still have business with that ugly giant,” I replied as I threw a vengeful look at Ogre.

“Beware,” order Chika. After saying that, Chika and Ravi immediately took away the eleven hostages and Aunt Tara. They ran towards the portal.

Ravi had a chance to look back and yell at me, “If there is already a Hunter Ranking S, I will ask them to help you!”

In my heart, I grumbled. “It's impossible right? Chika herself said they were all in another dungeon.”

The ogre suddenly smiled obliquely at me, like it was mocking. He held up his black-nailed index finger, then twisted his wrist. He pulled his index finger back a few times while grinning.

That one fucking monster is provoking me.

“You asked,” I said as I mounted the horses, my hands clasped Grasscuter and Crimson Edge.

I stared at Ogre before me with a killing aura. For a few seconds we were silent in our positions. I waited for the right moment, as well as the Ogre.

When a leaf carried by the wind landed near my shoe, it was the moment I used to swipe as fast as I could towards Ogre.

I exclaimed as I spun in the air, my left hand swinging the Crimson Edge right at his neck. However, that Ogre suddenly turned his head towards me. He can read my movements. His large, muscular arms reached for my left hand and pulled at my body instantly.

He screamed while throwing my body.

I was shocked and could not escape. My body hit one of the buildings still standing. Waking up it collapses instantly. Fortunately, I was using the armor at the moment, so the pain or damage I received was not too great.

Unfortunately, I was too naive— to think that the Ogre attack would just get there. The Ogre immediately advanced in front of me. His attack was so fast, my eyes couldn't even keep up with his speed. He pulled his big axe towards me.

Large scratches formed in the stomach, my blood spurted instantly from the wound. My mouth is coughing up blood. The wound was so deep that I had to hold it so that my stomach wouldn't come out. That ogre didn't give me a chance. When he saw me still standing, his right hand clenched and punched me in the face.

I was thrown and hit the ground hard. My heart was pounding, along with the pain that started to creep up. Various messages from the system popped up and my eyes were filled with warning screens.

I goosebumps when I see my HP bar line decrease by more than 80% and still continue to decline.
