Chapter 33: The Lake Dwellers

The day was getting darker, my finger immediately moved to open the system menu and head to the inventory section. Most of the columns are starting to fill up.

I was worried that my inventory would become more densely packed with drop material from monsters, so I would first use the Iventory Expansion Scroll item to increase the number of columns in the inventory.

My index finger tapped on the column with a picture of a purple roll of paper. In front of me instantly appeared the item. I unrolled the scroll to activate it. For a moment, the inventory column that was 100 has now increased to 150.

“Alright, next for camping..” My eyes are fixed on the column with a picture of a green box. Listed name “Goblin Survival Kit”.

When I touch the picture, there is an option to open the box. I agreed and the item box disappeared. Five new items in the inventory. There are tents, campfires, mattresses, cutlery sets, and water bags.

I took the tent out of the inventory. The size is quite large and can accommodate up to ten people. After that I took out a mat for a seat and a bonfire I put in front of him.

My surroundings have turned dark. There were various sounds of insects and night animals from the forest. The blazing bonfire released a soothing warmth. However, the atmosphere was interrupted by a rumbling sound coming from my stomach. I hungry.

I forgot to bring food. The bread I had stored for lunch in the Cornfield dungeon I had eaten.

I remembered there was a cauldron-shaped item I got from killing the goblin group. After checking the inventory, it turns out there is. The item's name was Portable Couldron, a medium-sized black cauldron-shaped.

I hurriedly got up after seeing the crowd of Torrential Devourers running in unison to the camp. Their mouths were gnawing and they looked like small, pointed teeth. Their eyes were empty like fish, but I could feel the tremendous killing from them.

My finger quickly put all the camping items back into the inventory, then took out Grasscutter and Crimson Edge.

I activated the skill and advanced to attack those fish monsters.

Their scales and fins turned out to be very sharp. Some parts of my body were hit and injured. However, I kept attacking at full speed and dismembered the Torrential Devourer's body.

I took a long breath. “Yang right?”

The effects of lack of sleep make my emotions a little difficult to manage. Regret filled my heart. “Let me rest, goddamn monsters!”

While exclaiming furiously I jumped towards the giant crocodile monster. His name is Croco Vandalgreen. Its length reaches 20 meters and the size of its head can swallow a whole car. However, I am still calm because the strength of that level is still not much different from me.

Exerting all my energy, I jumped on Croco Vandalgreen's head and threw a powerful punch. The monster growled loudly when I hit it, its head instantly stumbled and plunged into the water.

I landed on his back with a blade pointed at his thick skin. Focusing on strength, I tore off the thick skin until a part of Croco Vandalgreen meat was seen. After that, I launched a series of attacks in that section until it formed a deep, elongated wound.

Croco Vandalgreen was angry, he came out of the water while turning his body. Like the freshwater crocodile I've seen on the internet, Croco Vandalgreen also released his flagship technique, which is to rotate his body in the water brutally and ferociously.
