Chapter 20: Goblin Champion

The Goblin Raider exclaimed and the monster he was riding on advanced towards me. His large body destroyed the doors and walls of the house. His heavy footsteps caused small tremors all around. I exhaled, trying to stay calm.

Grasscutter I raised parallel to the head of the Goblin Raider. In one fell swoop, I went ahead and did a repulsion on the wall. It made the spear that was wielded by the Goblin Raider fail to hit me, on the contrary, I had the chance to do one strike on him.

The sickle end of Grasscutter pierced the neck of the Goblin Raider, I exerted my strength and pulled my weapon until the head of the Goblin Raider detached from its body.

I fell silent, then nodded slowly. Chika immediately ran into the house and called Aunt Tara many times. He went up to the second floor, then returned to the first floor with a deathly pale face. His eyes glazed over me.

“He was probably carried by those goblins,” I said.

Chika immediately smothered her mouth. “How is this? No, mama!”

“I won't let it!” connect, firmly. “I will go to the headquarters of the goblins.”

“What do you mean?” Chika. “You Hunter Without Rank, don't talk carelessly like that!”

I didn't answer and jumped on the roof. Chika stared at my departure with a gawking expression. He must not have expected me to be able to jump that high. The girl caught up with me not long after.

I was circulating a glance around the housing while scanning the location of the portal's appearance. Seeing this housing receive a considerable impact, there is a possibility that the portal appeared around this housing.

“Come, Ark!” call Chika who has run first in front. I jumped down from the roof and immediately followed in his footsteps.

Every now and then Chika looked back, seemingly worried that I was left behind. He didn't need to worry about it, if I wanted to, my steps could catch up with him in an instant.

My eyes caught a tall body near the turn of the road. I hurriedly warned Chika.

“Chika! Watch out!”

Chika instantly turned her head forward, along with that a Goblin Champion swung an iron mace weapon at her. Fortunately, Chika \ responded quickly, she dodged by ducking down.

The Goblin Champion had a height reaching two meters. Not only was he in the upper caste far away from the previous goblins, his strength level was one level above them, that of a Class B monster.

The monster was smarter and stronger. His body was muscular with two long, stocky arms. The Goblin Champion raised his left hand, ready to punch Chika who had just dodged his luring attack.

Chika looked surprised. He wasn't surprised by the Goblin Champion's attack just now, but from looking at my speed.

“Running one kilometer every day,” I replied, not entirely a lie.

The Goblin Champion charged forward while raising his tone. I lowered Chika down and jumped up to her chest while attacking the monster with a single extended streak in the chest, then stabbed her neck base until she died instantly.

The monster shouted, then its body collapsed in front of Chika who was still astonished.

“Hunter Without Rank can kill Goblin Champion?” he muttered while curling his forehead.

I ignored the questionable look of the girl. “Come, a little more we arrive,” invite me while switching topics.

Chika nodded, although on her face still left many questions about me.
