Chapter 11: Hunter Association

I remembered that yesterday had not had time to check out the reward of completing the dungeon. I put my finger in the air and then swiped down, instantly appearing the screen of the half-transparent blue system.

In the Inventory section there are several new items. I checked them one by one.

Grasscutter is the first A-class weapon I have. This weapon has a black handle and scythe, but the knife eyes are purple. The handle feels right in my grasp, when swung even feels light.

If sold, the lowest quality A class weapons can reach 250 million rupiah. Looking at the quality of the materials and their capabilities, this Grasscutter might cost more than 500 million rupiah. However, I will not sell it. I need a good weapon in order to face a stronger enemy.

“Item class S?” I exclaimed with excitement. My chest was pounding and my stomach felt wrapped around with enthusiasm,

This is the first time I've seen an S-class item. Whatever was behind the dungeon was definitely something precious and heavily guarded by powerful monsters. Fighting with Nightshade Raven alone was already half dead. I guess even my current level is not enough to enter the Donerhaim Dungeon. Plus, I have to get the item to its requirements first, Mjlnirsgaard’s Key.

The last gift in Inventory is Nightshade’s Coat.

I took that item out of the Inventory. In my hand appeared a black coat. The inside of his collar was purple. The hoodie's end is decorated with crow's feathers. When I wear it, the coat is long extending to the thighs and the size feels right on the body.

“Good too,” I said while glazed.

In addition to weapons, armor is a popular item and is needed by the Hunter, but the price can be very expensive depending on the material, quality and shape of the armor. Processing materials into armor requires its own skills. Armor that was processed into a form of clothing required a high level of skill that was difficult to learn so the price became much more expensive.

Clothes type armor like the one I wore—for class E price alone can reach 15 million rupiah per piece. So if a Hunter wears armor from head to toe, at the cheapest, he has to spend 75 million rupiah.

As a class B item, Nightshade’s Coat that I am wearing if sold can reach 250 million rupiah. I feel lucky to have this armor without spending a penny, plus there is the effect of adding HP and durability. I became curious and checked the status of the profile.

My basic attributes have really increased. Whistling I closed the system screen, enthusiastic about the update. Before closing the system screen, I checked the Inventory again as it recalled some raw materials dropped by the dungeon monster.

I have a lot of raw materials in Inventory, maybe it can be sold later. I don't know the price of each of these materials, but usually the Hunter Association already has a catalog of material prices and those who will calculate the net income.

After leaving with Aunt Tara, I left for the Hunter Association building.

The Hunter Association Building was built 10 years ago, not long after the end of the Outbreak terror. Replacing the Wisma Atlet area that was destroyed by monster attacks, the government finally established the Hunter Association area on the land.

There is a special bus transportation that can be used to directly get to this place, so there is no need to pass public transportation routes that are outside the area. I got to the Hunter Association bus stop and got off along with a few others.

From the stop, I walked through the big gate and reached the neatly-avled streets. Arriving in the middle of the Hunter Association area, there is a fountain pool and on it there is a monument logo of the organization.

People dressed in iron armor, carrying shields and long robes appeared to pass by in the roundabout. They are the Hunters. Such a sight is commonly found in Jakarta. People walk on the sidewalks carrying large swords, or enter the mall using conical magician hats.

The Hunter Association area consists of several buildings that are connected to each other. From the roundabout, there were three large roads leading to three important buildings belonging to the Hunter Association.

The left road leads to the Craftsman Building. The building contains various artisan shop weapons, armor, to medicine. Hunter can directly process the materials they get or buy the finished ones in the Craftsman Building.

The road on the right leads to the United District. This area was the special gathering place for the Hunter Guild headquarters. The three best Guilds in Indonesia were allowed to own one building, while the Guilds below had to share floors in one building, or rent one building themselves but the size of a small house or office.

Not all Guilds had headquarters, most did not even have one because of the expensive rent. That was why, only large or economically successful Guilds could have a headquarters room.

My feet stepped onto the straight path ahead. This road leads to the main building of the Hunter Association. I entered the 40-story building and was greeted by the intercom sound of an automatic robot machine.

The first floor hall was very spacious and wide. The interior is dominated by white and light blue. In the middle of the floor there is the Hunter Association logo. There are balconies that rotate on each floor so that everyone above can look directly at the ground floor.

In front of the blue benches, there is a reception desk with a female officer. I came to the woman.

“Welcome to Hunter Association, how can I help you?” ask the woman with a friendly smile.

“I want to see job vacancies for Porter.”

The woman swiftly typed something on her computer. “Hunter job vacancies can be accessed at Information Center 3rd floor. Please use the elevator in the hallway on the right,” explained the officer while showing the direction he meant.

“Thank you,” I said with a smile. Samar, I could see the female officer blushing.

I made a woman blush? It's a world record.

I took a glass elevator and reached the third floor. My eyes can instantly catch the big posts “Information Center” and head there. In the room there was an officer. There are many interactive digital screens inside. I headed to one of the unused screens.

On the screen, there is a choice of jobs for Hunter. This work is given from various parties, ranging from government, private companies, guilds, parties, to certain individuals. I pressed profession “Porter” and appeared many boxes containing requests. However, all the boxes are gray which means that the work is already there to take.

I swiped the screen with a disappointed expression.

“This is nothing left one vacancy?”

Not giving up, I rushed to see the officer in the information room. The 20-year-old-looking young girl was shocked to see me in front of the table.

“A-there can I help?” tanyanya. I can see a red tinge appearing on his cheeks.

Is she so nervous because of me? If so, it would have surpassed the world record.

I feel like I want to laugh. But now is not the time for that. I cleared my throat and conveyed my purpose to him.

“Work for Porter yes..” The girl lowered her head slightly before continuing again. “Sorry, for today indeed all Porter's work is full.”

“That's a shame,” I sighed while folding my hands on my chest.

The girl looked at me for a moment, she felt bad.

“Wait a minute yes,” said, suddenly. The girl ducked down to open the bottom desk drawer. There was the sound of paper being turned back and a small murmur from it. “Where are you? This one? Ah, no.”

Fifteen minutes later he stood back up, his face looking sumringrah. He put the paper on the table.

“This is a commission from the Moon Orchid Guild, they are looking for porters since four days ago,” explained the officer. “Association Hunter set the advertisement commission maximum of three days, that's why the commission from this guild we revoked this morning. As far as I know, they haven't gotten Porter. Are you interested?”

I nodded, “Of course, I want to take this commission.”

“Alright, wait a minute, I will process manually. Can I have your Hunter ID?”

“Ah, sorry, my phone is broken. What if I just mention the ID?”

“No problem.”

I mentioned my ID number and the clerk typed something on his computer. Not long after, he turned back to me and said the contract had been made.

“The Chairman of the Moon Orchid Guild we have contacted, he said he wants to meet you at the Craftsmen Building.”

“Craftsman Building?”

“True, he is currently in Craftsman Building, third floor, Fae Ferns.” Store

“Alright, I'll be there now. Thank you for the help,” I said as I passed, leaving the Information Center.
