The Train to The Dungeon

The Train to The Dungeon
Chapter 30: Bobora Piguie

While Lisa was collecting the Cadaliflower, I decided to clear the dungeon of the monsters. Starting from the far right cave, I went in and killed every Pinktail Piggy that came. They're so easy to kill, it doesn't seem too challenging, but what I need now is efficiency in order to complete the mission faster.

Finished with the tunnel at the far right, I proceeded to the tunnel next to it. Each tunnel is filled with at least 20 to 40 Pinktail Piggy. With my current abilities, I can kill every single one of them with just one strike.

Without feeling it, I had already cleared all the monsters until the tunnel at the far left cave. However, I left the third cave to finish last because there was the location of the dungeon boss.

Kill Bobora Piguie (0/10)]

I glanced at the quest board that appeared, it turned out that I had already completed one of the missions given. However, that doesn't mean I'll stop killing Pinktail Piggy.

In the third tunnel, the existence of Pinktail Piggy is much more than the other nine tunnels. I managed to kill them all and arrived at the inside of a wider and wider tunnel. The ceiling is very high and the surface is filled with grass upright up to one meter.

My Super Sense ability can sense the existence of a dungeon boss from behind a huge dark hole that looks like a monster's nest.

A pair of red eyes radiated from the darkness inside the hole, there was the sound of footprints scavenging the ground, like taking a swing to run. I'm ready for a surprise attack.

A giant pig monster came out and advanced at full speed, its head was covered in metal, its black hair dangling down to its back. The pig was dark in stature with a pair of fangs sticking out of its lower lip. When his head hit the cave wall, the tunnel shook violently.

The surface of the wall was shattered and collapsed. It turns out that his strength is good too. I scanned the monster for information.

Above his head appeared the name Bobora Piguie with a long red bar line as an indicator of his HP. However, that surprised me because the name of the monster was written in white. That is to say, the dungeon boss is level far below me.

I wonder if I can kill him with a single strike.

From the surface of the rock where I perched, I jumped down, a few meters from the whereabouts of Bobora Piguie. The monster turned its body, right at me. He snorted as he prepared to lash again with a deadly ramming of his head.

Accompanied by a loud snoring sound, the giant boar-shaped dungeon boss whizzed to my place. I activated Shadow Move, then advanced towards him while swinging the two scythe in hand.

I shifted my footsteps slightly to the left, my body running past Bobora Piguie, while both of my hands gave scratches extending from the side of the monster's head, the abdomen to his thighs.

I twisted my body and looked at Bobora Piguie who kept running forward. The monster's head hit the wall again, but a moment later, Bobora Piguie lunglai and fell to the side. He snorted for the last time and soon died. My eyes saw that monster HP bar instantly depleted in a single strike.

Kill Bobora Piguie (1/10)]

I was surprised when I saw the message on the system screen. I guess, I've already managed to defeat the dungeon boss and complete the final mission. However, there were still nine Bobora Piguie within this dungeon. I seem to have missed something.

I re-launched the Super Sense ability, vaguely, I sensed the presence of monsters. Eve was so weak, I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't double-checked. It seems that the existence of the monster was covered by the presence of the giant Bobora Piguie earlier.

My senses lead to the dark hole where the monster came from. In the darkness, my eyes adapted and could see things clearly. My ears caught the sound of a pig's-like frailty. As soon as I went deeper, I found nine piglets sleeping in the nest. On top of their heads was the name Bobora Piguie.

Not looking like monsters, they were like wild boar babies with a size of one meter. The faces of the piglets were not fierce. They were fast asleep and calm, thinking the mother had only gone out for a moment from the nest and felt no danger at all.

Damn, why would I doubt. I have to kill these monsters. However, the faces of those who were asleep and helpless made my hands tremble in doubt.

Even my head thought of something ridiculous. “What if I don't have to kill these monsters?”

Can't do. I have to finish my mission. They did indeed currently look cute and innocent, but within a few months, these piglets would turn into huge ferocious monsters.

I took a breath repeatedly and strengthened my resolve. Without a doubt, this time I killed those piglets quickly. There was no sound coming out from those monsters because I directly beheaded them.

After checking the status on the system, I went back to where Lisa was. Arriving at the Cadaliflower flower garden, I saw the girl packing a sack filled with flowers. He put the big sack into his storage room.

“Fiuh, done!” lisa said, her face looking satisfied.

He clapped his hands to clean up the dirt and dust. His eyes unintentionally saw me coming from the tunnel.

“Arka? Already done?” tanyanya, looking surprised.

“Dungeon boss I beat,” I said. “How about your work?

Lisa is gaping, but she hastily controls herself. “Ehem, my task is also done.”

I smile. “Good, come on, let's go back now to the station.”

Lisa nodded according and followed me walking until she returned to the dungeon station. We also went to the DRT. Through the intercom installed in the car, I informed the train operator to send the train.

Usually, this work was done by representatives of the Hunter Association. However, since Denis forbade the Hunter Association representative from joining, it was me who did. Denis forbade the Hunter Association to come too because of my request— to keep the secrets of the ability that I have.

The train announces departure. The carriage door closed and the object began to move slowly leaving the dungeon.

Lisa and I sat face to face. The girl looked at me curiously. I felt sorry to see him curious like that, so I allowed him to ask.

Lisa's eyes were instantly fiery and she flocked me with many questions.

“You Hunter What stage? How do you know the exact location of the Cadaliflower? Why are you able to clear this dungeon alone, even in such a short period of time? Did you choose Path? Apakh—”

“OK, enough,” cut me. It could be dangerous if I don't stop. Answering the question he just asked was confused.

“I Hunter Without Rank, I know the location of Cadaliflower because I had time to find out information about the flower, I can clean this dungeon yes because I can, I do not have path.” I didn't answer Lisa's question honestly. Some things are better left a mystery.

“What answer is it?” jolt Lisa, gaunt. The embarrassment on his face disappeared. The girl seemed to be changing into a different person. “I want to know, give me a detailed answer!”

I'm shaking. “Didn't I tell you? Not all questions will I answer.”

Lisa puffed her cheeks, upset that my answer did not satisfy her. I feel bad but I've decided not to tell anyone about my system and abilities.

“If you are still curious, please ask Denis.”

“So, Denis knows all?”

I lied again. “Yes, he knows some things about me.”

“Alright, later I will ask the Chairman!” Lisa's eyes sparkled happily.

I feel tired. Facing one curious person turned out to be more energy draining than fighting a dungeon boss.

The conversation made the trip in the DRT feel shorter. As soon as our topic ended, the train arrived at Klender Station. We both got out of the carriage and parted in front of the station. Lisa lowered her head many times while saying thanks.

He said that thanks to my help, a job that should take three days could be completed in less than three hours.

I waved at him before getting into the online taxi. Lisa was still replying to the wave of my hand until the car I had left her sight.

On the way back to the hospital, I called Denis and told him that my day's work was done.
