"Alright then, Young Master."
The answer of the three Van Der Linen housemaids made the young master smile faintly.
"Then I look forward to your work. Now I have to take care of another job, see you," concluded Cecilion as he passed, going outside the house without waiting for a response from the three servants of his house.
"Oh, how's this? can we persuade Mrs Van Doornik to meet the young master?" ask Aunt Odah to her two younger colleagues.
The two colleagues were also confused, not knowing how to bring Mrs Van Doornik together with their young master.
Cecilion van der Linen, that young man is a young blood with a very high determination could be dire if the three of them were unable to fulfill the young master's request.
Meanwhile, after making his three servants distraught and confused looking for a way to bring him and Mrs Van Doornik together, Cecilion walked leisurely towards the Kees house which happened to be located not so far from his house.
Unlike the Roses and Cecilion who came from upper-class families, Kees came from a family that was not too rich but had a fairly well-established life. Nevertheless, their friendship remains tight without the social strata.
Cecilion's steps look so steady, in harmony with the wind that blows softly about the beautiful face and strands of hair as dark as the night sky.
Cecilion van der Linen's charming looks certainly attract the attention of those who cross paths with him.
Some girls did not even hesitate to look from head to toe Cecilion with admiration, inexhaustible how could God create a creature as beautiful as Cecilion without the slightest gap of goods. Everything attached to Cecilion seems so perfect, making the women powerless to stem the pheromone charm of Cecilion which is very intoxicating.
"Good afternoon, Uncle. Is Kees home?" asked Cecilion to a Jongos with courtesy upon his arrival in front of the Kees house.
The half-century-old Jongos smiled despite being somewhat shocked at being treated so courteously by a young European boy.
The man then nodded, opening the door for Cecilion to enter the house.
"Young Master Kees is in the living room. I think Master can just go straight inside," the middle-aged man replied later.
"Alright thank you Uncle" said Cecilion as he stepped inside the Kees house.
A bit different from most Dutch family homes, the Kees family home has many Chinese-smelling elements in some corners of the building. Yes, Kees' mother is a woman of Chinese descent no wonder there are many Chinese accents in the house.
"What brings you here, Cecilion?" asked Kees who was still busy reading books while sitting casually facing the living room window of his house.
"Is the Rose still punished by her Father?" cecilion asked directly at his core, considering the Kees family was quite close to the De Haas family.
Kees closed his book, looking at his friend with concern. "i don't know much, but when Papa and I went to De Haas' house yesterday I didn't see the Rose."
Cecilion's feelings were growing more worried. He knew what the Roses were doing for the good of both of their families. Cecilion also felt that the enmity between Mr. Van Der Linen Papaanya with Mr. De Haas Papa Roses should be ended immediately.
"What should we do?" ask Kees later.
Cecilion sits on a chair, rubbing his chin with his index finger seems to weigh the best steps they can take so that this problem does not get protracted.
After a while, Cecilion snapped his finger.
"ah! I thought of a way, would you help me?"
Kees raised his head, looking at Cecilion. "how is it?"
Cecilion smiled meaningfully. "just follow my instructions. Come on, we should immediately buy the items we need before the store closes!"
...****************...
"Why do I have to be in your midst and experience all of this, anyway?!" asked Kees dismissively while removing his disguise as a traveling painting equipment trader.
The typical Chinese clothes worn by Kees look very shabby and uncomfortable, making Kees rush to take them off.
Roses and Cecilion chuckled amusedly, even though Cecilion's appearance was no less tickling.
Just imagine, Cecilion's handsome face is conjured up in such a way that it becomes deckil like most indigenous people complete with shabby clothes and bicycles carrying lemonade ice merchandise.
Yes, only in that way they can meet the Rose in the garden behind the De Haas family home which is a little away from the supervision of the Jongos want Babu pub.
"I'm sorry, Kees. Just because you want to meet me you have to do a troublesome disguise like this," Rose said sincerely with a sad face.
Of course Roses are sad because his two best friends have to do this way just to meet him. Many days have passed but the attitude of Mr. De Haas still has not softened to make the Rose feel restless.
"Just forget about our disguise. Tell me when you can go back to school?" Cecilion looked at the rose closely, waiting for an answer from the air.
Cecilion could no longer hide his feelings for the growing Rose. Now, he just wants to always be on the side of the Rose as his protector who is also willing to love the Rose in any condition even though he has not revealed it directly to the Rose.
"I'll try to get Mama's help to persuade Papa tonight. Anyway, I have to graduate with good grades, right? I can't keep missing lessons like this" said Roses with a reassuring smile on his beautiful face.
The girl grabbed Cecilion's hand, squeezing him gently trying to convince the young man that everything would be fine. Befriended with lemonade ice, the three of them then began to exchange stories discussing various things that had happened in school during the Rose absence.
"Kees, who do you think I'm getting married to?" rose asked idly after Kees told her about the engagement plan of one of their classmates.
"What about me?" tease Kees while raising her eyebrows flirtatious.
The laughter of the Rose that fell apart so naturally and beautifully seemed completely inversely proportional to the Cecilion facial water that now turned into a slumber.
"Which rose may marry a man who has never been serious and has no standing like you" Cecilion later argued.
See it? Because of his jealousy Cecilion began to say loudly and it even made Kees' laughter explode.
"After all, it is Cecilion van der Linen who will marry the Rose of De Haas" said Cecilion calmly, focusing his gaze on the pair of blue netra belonging to the Rose without implying any joking intentions.
The Rose's heart was crazed, beating twice as fast uncontrollably.
The blood flowing in the Rose's body also rippled violently making it harder for the Rose to control her consciousness not to kiss Cecilion's lips right now.
"Are you kidding me, Cecilion?" kees asked half his laughter subsided.
Cecilion smiled faintly looking at Kees.
"I'm serious, Kees. You are the first witness to attend our wedding even though I don't know if our relationship will be sanctioned by our parents or not."
That's not surprising to Kees.
He realized clearly that Cecilion and Rose were indeed attracted to each other even though they never revealed each other.
Kees nodded with a sincere smile.
"I hope you two will indeed become a couple blessed by God."
