The prisoner of Mr. Xie

The prisoner of Mr. Xie
Part 07 - The arrival of Aidan

A puff of cigarette smoke came out of Davira's mouth, the woman's forehead slightly wrinkled when she saw a name on her phone screen. That flat object kept ringing from earlier, he had already tried to ignore it. But the caller did not give up making him annoyed.

Davira immediately shifted the green button until now the call is connected.

"Davira's? Where have you been? Why is it so hard to contact? You're okay, aren't you?"

The consecutive question was asked by his cousin who lives in Indonesia, the man named Aidan was so chatty and Davira did not like it too much. Aidan always tried to interfere with his business and wanted to know a lot about his personal life.

While Davira is not the type of person who can tell what he feels, he also feels uncomfortable when someone just keeps asking him something.

In addition, Davira was still angry and upset with Aidan and the mother of the man, her own aunt. They had just arrived in Seville after a month of their family funeral. Davira does not understand why the mother and son prefer to take care of business first rather than attend the Xie family funeral.

It makes Davira more convinced that the concern of Aidan and his mother is just a formality, they care more about business and busy taking care of the property left by his grandmother and grandfather. Whether Aidan and his mother can take care of it, Davira doesn't care.

As long as the two of them do not interfere with the core business that he is now holding. Aidan and his mother only get some, but according to Davira some of what Aidan and his mother get is very much.

"I'm fine, say it quickly. If there's nothing important then I'll ma-"

"Wait, Davira! I'm actually in Seville right now."

Davira suddenly stood up from his seat feeling surprised, the article is already two months since their last meeting. What does it mean that Aidan suddenly came to Seville?

"Why did you come here? I don't want to be met, I don't accept guests" Davira said in a cold tone.

"I'm your cousin, Davira. You're alone here, you don't want to go back to Indonesia? There's still me and my mom, some of our family's still left."

"Stop making small talk and tell me what's your purpose in coming here?"

"I'll say it, but not on the phone. I'll come to your mansion. Right now I'm on my way there."

"Is your goal really that important?" Davira breathed out the rough smoke of his cigarette.

"It's important that I get to Seville. Wait for me at the mansion and don't go anywhere."

"Who are you here with? Is your mother coming too?" Davira was worried, because she did not want to see Liana's face which made her feel sick. Face full of hypocrisy, brother of his father was indeed average greedy and also selfish.

"I'm alone, not really alone. I'm with some of my men."

"How many?"

"Are you going to keep asking, Davira? I'll disconnect him, see you."

The call was cut off unilaterally making Davira feel like throwing her phone so upset. Davira took a deep breath and then pressed down strongly***** the cigarette was still burning on the ashtray. He immediately stepped out of the room, it had been 3 months since the shooting incident at that time. And now the appearance of the house has returned to how it was, but with different circumstances.

Davira went down the steps one by one until he reached the second floor of his house, seen some bodyguards who were directly staring at him. The new bodyguards he hired were all native Spaniards.

Davira still has to use the bodyguard because he also still holds his family business, he is grateful that Damian helped him to take care of his family business well. The man had truly accompanied her through her difficult times.

Now their business in the underworld remains stable and unchanged even though both parents are gone. Because there is still him and Damian who always help him overcome these problems.

"Today someone will come, he's my cousin. But you still have to be careful, he is not alone and with his men. So stay alert."

"Well Miss," the five bodyguards nodded their heads simultaneously.

Davira did not say anything more, the woman began to bring her footsteps into the elevator. He wanted to go to the first floor and wait for Aidan in the living room, Davira did not want if his cousin entered his private room.

He put his butt on the sofa that felt so soft, he leaned comfortably and calmly while tapping his fingertips on the edge of the sofa.

"Miss?"

Suddenly one of his guards was standing in front of him making him aghast in shock. Davira looked at the bodyguard and immediately controlled his facial expression.

"Some one came, she claimed to be Miss's cousin. From Indonesia," said the long-haired bodyguard tied up.

"Take him in, he brought how many men?" ask Davira to be curious.

"There's about fifteen, Miss."

Davira was stunned for a moment, for what did Aidan bring the men up to that much? What exactly was the purpose of Aidan coming here? Davira felt something was wrong.

The guard stepped out from his presence to tell Aidan and his men who had been standing on the porch to enter immediately.

Aidan smiled widely, the tall and sturdy man now brought his footsteps into the large mansion belonging to his nuclear family. All the men he brought followed him from behind.

"Where's Davira?" asked Aidan was looking forward to meeting his beautiful cousin.

"Miss Davira is there, sir, follow me," the bodyguard led Aidan to the living room.

"Davira! I miss you" Aidan walked over to the woman who was now just staring at him flat.

Aidan intends to hug Davira's body, but the woman immediately pushes her chest away.

"No hugs, we're not that close" Davira sat down with her legs crossed.

Aidan only chuckled then sat down without any welcome, while all of his men were now standing behind him. And it really makes Davira feel annoyed because Aidan seems to want to make him feel threatened.

"I'm glad you chose to renovate this mansion, you made the right decision," Aidan looked around, and nothing had changed since the last time he visited.

"Going to the point, why did you bring this many men? And why did you bring them before me? They should be able to wait outside if you really want to talk about something important."

"Don't get me wrong, Davira. I brought them just in case."

Davira raised one eyebrow, "You're meeting me and you're on guard from what?"

The look on Aidan's originally friendly face instantly changed, he cleared his throat briefly while leaning his back.

"I'm here to talk about the business you're holding right now."

Davira gave a small smile, his guess was not wrong and one hundred percent right. There was nothing else that could have made Aidan go all the way to meet himself in Seville if not for business.

"What's wrong with the business I'm holding? I don't think there's a problem at all, me and Damian manage it really well. We have not lost a single consumer even though almost our entire family is gone. Our family business is still successful with which the Handoko family remains strong."

"That's exactly it, Davira. We see that the business you now manage is growing, shouldn't you manage it together with my mother? She's your aunt and your father's youngest sister."

"Hasn't everything been shared long before that? Your mother and others have got a part that is a business in Indonesia. Grandma gave everything in Spain in full to my father. Because my father is the eldest son who is able to manage the family business."

Davira crossed his chest while staring at the look on Aidan's face that seemed not to accept hearing what he said.

"But now that things have changed, your father and grandmother are gone. Grandma gave too much of her property and business to your father, it's not fair to anyone else. And now you've got it all. It should have been my mom and the others getting back the parts. At least you can start managing that business by working with my mom."

Davira smiled cynically and then straightened her body that was originally leaning.

"Which business? What kind of business does your mother want?" davira asked with a sharp but calm look.
