Part 58 - Towards Mr. Scott's Headquarters

Without a second thought Davira immediately dropped her body into the water making Jakob and the others so surprised.

"Davira!" liam shouted then holding the bridge barrier.

"He can swim" said Jakob, as he watched Davira not show herself to the surface.

"But his leg is hurt!"

While Davira is now moving his legs and hands to swim towards Nathan which he can immediately see when he enters the water. The man looked unconscious with his body resting on the rocks, lucky the water there was not too deep.

Davira immediately grabbed Nathan's hand, his tears camouflaged in there, his chest felt like it was being squeezed when he saw Nathan's eyes were closed. Davira rubbed Nathan's cheek gently, his heart ached, he was afraid to imagine losing Nathan at this time.

They're not done yet, there's still a lot he needs to know about Nathan. He also did not want to bear the guilt if it was not Nathan who had slaughtered his family.

Davira looked at Nathan's face before trying to pull the man to the surface of the water with him. But his body was too weak and tired, his legs were so sore and his head began to feel dizzy because the oxygen in his lungs slowly thinned.

Suddenly Davira sees Jakob and Liam swimming towards him making him feel a little relieved, Jakob hurriedly takes over Nathan and takes him swimming to the surface.

Liam pulled Davira's waist, and he could feel that Davira was so weak and almost fainted at this moment. With ease now they have been swimming more and more up until they can blow their heads to the surface of the water.

Davira immediately scooped up as much oxygen as possible, he even coughed making Liam immediately rub his back.

"You're okay?" ask Liam to make sure.

Davira just nodded slowly and then looked towards Jakob who was carrying Nathan up the riverbank.

"Nathan, help him," said Davira after he was also on the river bank, Davira immediately approached Nathan who was laid by Jakob on the ground.

"He's been shot, he's got a lot of blood" Jakob looked up, where he saw Luca, Mario, Dex and Fedrix looking so panicked.

"Snick sir!" dex's yelling made Liam and Jakob frown.

"We need to get out of here! The local police could have come!"

"Damn, help me lift Jonathan's body, Liam," Jakob's pinta makes Liam move to help him immediately.

Davira gazed towards the already clear sky, they hurriedly climbed back up to the bridge with a sense of panic enveloping Davira.

"Where are we taking Nathan?" davira then glanced at Paul who seemed to have regained consciousness, he thought Paul was gone because of the shot, but Paul only fainted.

"I'm sure our helicopter is still waiting, we'll take it there" Jakob replied as he loaded Nathan into the car.

"But didn't Nathan have to get treatment right away? Where's the chopper gonna take him?"

"We can't go to the hospital, Davira. Very unlikely" said Luca makes Davira increasingly frustrated.

"Paul, are you okay?" davira then approached Paul and helped him to stand up.

"Where are you taking Mr Xie?" Paul looked at Nathan who was in the car and was unconscious.

"We-we don't know."

"Mr Xie will come with me, he will be treated soon" said Paul, making Jakob and Liam who were already in the car immediately out.

"Then take that car and save your master."

Jakob grabs Davira's hand, "We have to hurry, there's the police and they're really headed this way!"

The sound of police sirens could be heard heading to where they were making others immediately enter the car near them, no matter whose car they were going to use, the most important thing is that the car can get them away from the police.

"You better follow me! Miss Davira, I suggest that you come along. Because you really have to see that evidence!" paul shouted making Davira immediately get into his car without a second thought.

"Damn," said Jakob then immediately opened his car door and took a suitcase with his money before approaching Paul.

"Get out, let me drive, you just go where we need to go."

"What about the helicopter?!" mario asked in confusion.

"Follow me! Looks like we're not leaving Moscow today!" jakob answered and drove his car.

Dex and Fedrix stared at each other, "This Arghh is completely out of plan!"

"Wait for what else? We follow Mr.'s car, I'm also curious about who's messed up Davira's life" Liam said and followed Jakob in his own car.

"Fast Luca, the police are in the back!" mario shouted in panic.

"Be quiet, since when do we feel threatened just because of the police?" Luca looks so calm but still adds his speed.

"Good, now we're not just fugitives for the police, but Xie's family in trouble with Jonathan!" Fedrix breathed in rough.

Dex who was driving with her only glanced at her at a glance.

"I think we should resign from this job, what if we replace Mister?"

Fedrix shook her head, "Together Jakob is the safest for now, after all I can't work with the others. You forget how long we've been Jakob's subordinate?"

Dex clucked and leaned back comfortably.

"I hope Jonathan doesn't shoot us when he's conscious."

Davira held Nathan in his arms while rubbing his wet hair, Nathan's face looked pale and his skin felt so cold. Davira did not show any expression, his face looked so flat because his mind was not with him at the moment.

"The cops are no longer chasing?" jakob asked while looking back because of the broken rearview mirror.

"No, they won't catch up" replied Paul, holding his left shoulder, the bullet still lodged there and the blood still continuing to come out.

"Where are we really going?" Jakob glanced at Paul, of course he felt anxious and would not be able to trust him completely.

"To headquarters."

"So you have headquarters in Moscow"

Paul shook his head softly, "It doesn't belong to Mr. Xie, it belongs to Mr. Scott. And not in Moscow, but in Saltykovka. You don't realize we're not in the Moscow region?'

Jakob frowned, "Yes, you're right. And you mean.....Mr Scott is that Arthur Scott or am I wrong? What base does he have here?"

"Indeed, Mr. Arthur Scott, he has a headquarters used to produce por*no films in Saltykovka that are rarely known by people."

Jakob just rounded his mouth a sign of understanding.

"Is it okay if we go to the base?"

Paul was stunned for a moment, "I'll explain it to Mr. Scott, the most important thing now is Mr. Nathan's safety."

"Who do you want to call?" Jakob looked at Paul who was pulling out his phone.

"Of course Mr Scott had him tell his men who were on guard, you didn't want to be hit by gunfire when you got there, did you?"

"Do what you have to do, and remember, after Jonathan wakes up, he has to explain everything to Davira. He also can't force Davira if Davira doesn't want to be with him."

Paul chuckled, "Don't say that to me, you'd better talk to Mr. Nathan."

"How long is Paul?" ask Davira to open her voice.

"Ahead there's the headquarters building I mean, but we can't go straight there. I have to call Mr. Scott first."

Davira just silently heard it, he turned to look at Nathan's face again.

"I hope you don't disappoint me by telling lies, this time I will really kill you if it turns out that you're just making up for Damian's crimes."
