Part 45 - Life Debt

Flashback On -

Nathan drove up his car, splitting the crowded highway. The car he drove occasionally collided with other motorists on the road. But Nathan doesn't seem to care about it.

Nathan must be able to arrive as soon as possible before anything bad happens to Emma.

"Damn," said Nathan as he gripped his steering wheel.

He was really feeling angry and unaccepting, Gabriel Luke was trying to destroy him by using the person closest to him. Perhaps Gabriel thought that Emma was his lover because they were so close, Emma would often visit Nathan's mansion if Nathan was in Rome.

Their closeness is what now brings disaster to Emma, Nathan has repeatedly told Emma to keep more distance from him. Yet the woman was quite stubborn, and what she feared was now evident.

Gabriel's got Emma in their trouble. Gabriel hates Nathan so much because two years ago Nathan once thwarted his shipment, Nathan even stole the item, making Gabriel the most blamed person in his family for the huge loss they suffered.

"To my left side, quick," Nathan told all his men and those who worked for Emma's father, Arthur.

Of course Arthur also mobilizes his men to help Nathan find his daughter.

"Some one followed the Master."

Paul's voice was heard from HT which is currently being held by Nathan.

"Crashing, firing! Do whatever it takes, lest they manage to get in our way" Nathan ordered as he glanced at the GPS in his car.

There shows where Emma is currently, Arthur is lucky to always have Emma wear a bracelet that has been stored tracking devices in it.

"You won't be able to smash me through Emma, you're wrong, Gabriel," Nathan murmured and then drove his car into a glass-walled building.

Everyone inside was so shocked when Nathan and his men got out of their respective cars complete with guns in their hands.

"Fifth floor," Nathan and his men run into the elevator to get to the fifth floor where Emma is.

Dor.

Nathan shoots down Gabriel's apartment door and breaks into it.

Braaks.

Dozens of burly people have now welcomed Nathan's arrival.

Bugh.

Nathan immediately threw his fist into the face of one of them. Nathan's men are coming, fights are inevitable. They all threw fists at each other's faces.

"Gurghhh!"

Nathan unsheathed his knife so many times, he attacked those who blocked his path so brutally.

Dor.

Paul opened fire on the men making his way to Gabriel's room open to his Master.

Now Nathan can see Gabriel hugging Emma from behind, but with a gun pointed at Emma's head.

"Calm Emma" Nathan clasped his knife, which was covered in blood.

His eyes implied such great anger towards Gabriel.

"How does it feel to be stolen, Nathan?" Gabriel is tilted.

"You shouldn't have involved Emma."

Nathan shook his head, "So now what do you want to do to Emma?"

Nathan raised one eyebrow, acting as calm as possible even though he was now so eager to smash Gabriel in the face.

Gabriel pushes Emma's body rough until the woman slumps to the floor.

"Nathan," called Emma in a voice that sounded weak and quivering.

"I want to kill you, thief," Gabriel pulled out his knife and jumped up and tried to hit Nathan.

Nathan quickly kicked Gabriel in the stomach until the man slammed and hit the wall hard on his back.

"Gurgh!"

Nathan went straight to him, pierced Gabriel's body and raised his fist.

"Never involve a woman in a man's affairs, damn it!" Nathan vented his anger by continuing to smash Gabriel in the face.

But of course Gabriel did not stay still, he pushed Nathan's body until the two wrestled on the floor with hands holding each knife.

They both kept trying to attack each other.

"Akh......" Nathan grimaced softly as Gabriel's knife stabbed him in the shoulder.

Nathan immediately pushed Gabriel's body away from him. Gabriel again slammed, and this time his body hit the table hard.

"Araghh! Goddamnit!"

Gabriel held onto his stomach which was so painful from hitting the table, he tried to get up in limp. Gabriel glanced at the frightened Emma in the corner of the room.

A slanted smile instantly imprinted on Gabriel's face, the man immediately ran towards Emma. Intending to injure Emma, but Nathan soon lunges at her body. Until unknowingly the knife held by Gabriel had pierced his stomach deeply.

"Nathan!" emma shouted so surprised to see it.

"I told you I was going to kill you" Gabriel whispered, deepening his prick, causing Nathan's kidney to break instantly.

Dor.

One bullet suddenly landed on Gabriel's head unexpectedly, Gabriel's body collapsing to the floor along with Nathan's body. Nathan's stomach was seen bleeding a lot, he looked at the face of Emma who was now approaching him with an already blurry view.

flashback Off - Flashback

Nathan immediately opened his eyes as the dream again appeared, the shadow of his past was really bothering him.

Nathan is always haunted by guilt over what is currently happening to Emma, his childhood best friend who must be in danger because of it. And Emma also had to sacrifice her kidneys for her life.

Nathan rubbed his face rough as he recalled Emma's request a moment ago, the woman asked Davira for a kidney. And that Nathan would never give, he could give anything to Emma. Except for her heart and Davira's life, until whenever Davira is everything to her.

He would never sacrifice Davira just for Emma. Nathan is indebted, so Nathan has to pay. Not Davira, that woman is his. He will not let his own go.

"Paul, where's my phone?" nathan asked while trying to change his position to sit down.

"It's Master" Paul immediately handed Nathan's cell phone.

"Paul, tell our people, find the kidney for Emma. Soon, I want Emma to be healthy again within a month" Nathan said, checking his phone's GPS.

There was a red dot that should indicate Davira's position, but his position was on the highway. It's been hours, and that means Davira has thrown away her necklace.

Nathan immediately got off the hospital bed to make Paul immediately take the suit owned by his master.

"Master sure you're okay?" paul asked worried.

"Tell the doctor that I'm not coming back here, I have to find Davira. We need to find him before my family, have your men found any leads?" Nathan removed the infusion placed on his back.

"No, Mister. There's no sign of Mr. Moore in this town."

Nathan chuckled, "Jakob can't take Davira out of this town."

"Find out all the departures, Paul. Land, air, sea, find out everything. If Jakob uses a private jet, we can definitely find him."
