Part 41 - Family Meetings

Davira pensively alone on the balcony of her room, she really did not expect that Nathan would bring her present as a couple at the big gathering of the Xie family. It's really beyond belief, Nathan is so brave, he could have thought he would show it to the entire Xie family who obviously wouldn't like it.

"How's this? What am I supposed to do? This is an opportunity. But....Can I? What if Nathan tells the truth? What if Nathan doesn't know about my family's massacre?" his mind was so confused about what step he should take.

On the one hand he admitted Nathan had managed to attract his attention and make him fall in love with all the attitudes and treat the man to him. But on the other hand, the resentment and anger still did not disappear. And Davira wasn't sure her grudge could just disappear.

"What are you thinking?" nathan asked standing next to Davira.

"I was thinking about that meeting, what if I get hit by bullets by your family?" Davira did not look Nathan in the face.

His eyes stared straight ahead, looking at the vast expanse of green grass.

"That's not going to happen, I'm going to hug you until that happens" Nathan said, making Davira smile.

"What exactly is taking me there?" davira asked still could not believe that Nathan would really be that brave.

"To show them that I cannot be threatened or banned. No one can control me, whereas I have complete control over myself, and over what I have to do to you."

"In short, my life or death is in your hands. Am I right?" Davira turned to the side, making the two Netra collide with each other.

Nathan nodded slowly, "But I will make sure that I will not give you death."

Davira could only shut up, he did not know anymore what he had to say at the moment.

Silence enveloped the two for a while, each of them struggling with a mind that was of course different.

"Nathan," call Davira to break the silence.

"I'd like to see my important documents and files that you've kept, did you bring them here?"

"I always carry it, why would I suddenly want to see it?" Nathan frowning.

"Just want to make sure that you're not lying to me" Davira replied, giving Nathan a small chuckle.

"Is there in my room, want to see it right now?" Nathan grabs Davira's hand for him to hold.

Davira just nodded her head in response, the two of them finally came out of Davira's room and walked towards Nathan's study.

Arriving there, Davira's eyes were immediately fixed on several sheets of photos scattered on the man's desk. Davira immediately took it, the photos show his togetherness with Nathan.

"Good photo?" nathan asked as he opened his closet.

"Did your man take this photo?"

"No, but my grandmother's man. He's tailing us, the picture's good, so I'm taking it."

Davira was shaking his head, "Basic crazy."

"It's a pity that if a photo as good as that was kept by my grandmother, you look happy there too. So I better keep it."

Nathan placed a small silver suitcase bag on the table to make Davira immediately tidy up several photos to stack into one. Nathan immediately opened the suitcase, revealing a pile of files and important documents related to the business.

Davira smiled at him, "I'm glad you kept it, I can't imagine what if all these documents fell into Aunt Liana's hands."

"I know it's worth all this to you" Nathan put the suitcase back in its place.

"Can I keep one?" davira asked to show a photo showing a portrait of Nathan who was removing his high heels while on the beach.

Nathan stared at Davira's bead for a moment, for some reason his feelings became uncomfortable.

"You may keep it," Nathan replied, making Davira smile.

Suddenly Nathan hugged Davira's body, a very soothing and affectionate hug. Davira can always feel that from Nathan, the desire to have and the sense of obsession that is so great.

"I don't know what's on your mind right now, Davira. I hope you've really trusted me," she said.

Nathan kissed Davira's head, burying his face there to inhale the scent of the woman's hair. The smell was so sweet and made her always want to breathe it in.

"I wish you'd always be by my side, Davira. I don't know what will happen to me if you leave me."

Davira was stunned in Nathan's arms, he tightened his arms with an uncalled feeling.

Davira smiled at the reflection in the mirror, his body looks so perfect with a black dress attached to his body. Its long gap exposes its smooth thighs and level legs.

A fantastic precious blue diamond necklace attached to her neck, it looks so luxurious and also elegant. Her long hair was purposely rolled upwards and left only a few small strands.

The sound of the high heels he was wearing rhymed as he walked in his walk in closet to pick up the bag he was going to use.

Davira was stunned when he saw an X and D shaped necklace that he had been wearing, Davira immediately took it and put it in his bag.

He took a deep breath, trying to convince himself that the step he was going to take was the right one.

Davira immediately came out of the walk in closet, he immediately smiled when he saw Nathan who was already standing in his room.

"It's so pretty" Nathan praised, apparently so fascinated by Davira's performance.

"I'm afraid my cousins will be attracted to you if they see you as beautiful as this" Nathan walked up to Davira and grabbed her hand.

Cup.

Nathan lands a kiss on Davira's glove, the woman looks like a nobleman.

"Why does your face look so nervous?" nathan asked Davira to make a brief puckle, trying to be as calm as possible.

"Who is not nervous? I'm going to meet the entire Xie family, who in fact are my family's enemies, our family has been competing for a long time, Nathan. And you may be attracted to me without thinking about it first."

Nathan chuckles little, "You're the one who pulled me, Davira," well right in the woman's ear.

Davira poked his hand around Nathan's neck and then landed a brief kiss on the man's lips.

Struggling it slowly and mel*matnya, deepening her kiss to make Davira almost out of breath. Nathan took off his pagutan lips and then put his forehead on Davira's forehead.

"I love you" he said in a hoarse voice.

Davira was silent, his breathing was hunting.

"Nothing you want to say to me?"

Davira gave a small smile, "We're leaving now?"

Nathan nodded his head, not wanting to force Davira to reveal his heart. Nathan clasped Davira's hand and walked out of the woman's room.

They set foot together until they reached the garage, where Elio was seen waiting and swiftly opened the car door for both.

"Paul hasn't finished his job yet?" davira asked curiously, because Paul had been out of sight for a long time.

"Yes, it might be over soon" Nathan replied after they got into the car.

Nathan continues to hold Davira's hand during the trip, knowing that the woman must be nervous and anxious.

"So the Xie family meeting was held on July one and took place in Rome? Why not just in the mansion then?"

Nathan chuckles, "Usually his show was held in Rio, but now in Rome, grandma changes it as she pleases."

It did not take long, finally the car driven by Elio stopped right in front of a skyscraper that looks so magnificent. The few guards on guard immediately greeted their arrival.

Nathan goes down first and opens the door for Davira. Nathan reached out his hand to make Davira immediately greet him with a sense of doubt that now enveloped him.

"Everything will be fine" Nathan whispered after Davira grabbed him by the arm.

Davira took a deep breath, her face instantly turned so confident and cold as Davira normally did. Nathan immediately smiled faintly at her, that cold face that made him feel interested the first night he saw the woman.

"I've always liked your confidence."

"I almost forgot how to do it" Davira said as she stepped on her foot.

The main door opened wide, the two of them immediately entered like lovers. The entire eye immediately stared towards the two, the atmosphere instantly turned tense.

Everyone's eyes could not be separated from Davira and Nathan who had just entered the hall room where the entire Xie family had gathered. There were whispers and low swearing sounds, all of them were certainly very surprised to see the existence of Davira.

"What did Nathan do?" Julian clenched his hands tightly, as did Amara, his blood boiling to see the thin smile on Davira's face that was now staring at him without the slightest fear.

Gayatri smiled slanted, which meant that her people would not be able to kill Davira like her original plan. But his brain still has many plans he can use to rid Davira of his granddaughter's life.

"Nathan deliberately challenged us, Julian. Relax, I already have a plan. Facing Nathan can't be violent, "Gayatri opens her voice and tries to stay calm even though she wants to shoot Davira in the head right now.

"What plan, mom? We can even kill him right now, Nathan's delivering prey before us."

"Don't be stupid, Julian. Shut up and hold on to your anger, you'll see how mom's plan works. Davira himself will leave Nathan, and when that comes, then we'll kill him."

While Emma can now only be stunned in her place, she gazes at the arrival of Davira and Nathan in disbelief. Nathan refuses to pick her up, but the man chooses to take Davira with him. And that made his hatred for Davira even bigger.

The sound of a small laugh next to her made Emma immediately turn her head.

"I thought Nathan would come with you, Emma. It turned out that he was coming with the prisoner" Aaron smiled as he sipped his champagne softly.

Aaron clucked, "It's so pretty, it's worth Nathan going crazy. Looks like I have to say hello to him, the atmosphere here is a bit stressful."

Nathan's cousin immediately put his champagne glass on the table, Emma was silent and did not respond to Aaron's words. He knows how crazy that guy is, Aaron might look friendly. But he's not that friendly, make the slightest mistake, then Aaron will kill you immediately.

"During no meeting, Nathan," Aaron briefly hugs Nathan's body and turns to Davira.

Aaron gave his smile and grabbed Davira's hand wrapped in black gloves after it dipped him.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Handoko. Does this cousin of mine treat you well?" aaron asked Nathan to let out a long sigh.

Aaron is one of the most annoying cousins and he never liked Aaron's whereabouts. Somehow Nathan never liked all his cousins, it could be said that Nathan was the one in trouble here.

"No need to answer the question, Davira," whispered Nathan to Aaron who was still hearing him chuckle.

"You're the center of attention here, look at their eyes. Keep looking at you two, why bring him Nathan? I heard Grandma wanted him to kill you, but you brought him here" Aaron shook his head.

"It's best to keep your mouth shut, Aaron," Nathan said, still calm.

"Grandmother, don't want to greet our guests?" aaron asked, turning to look at Gayatri.

Laura, who was also invited by Gayatri, can now only roll her eyes to see the existence of Davira, which really surprised everyone. Who would have thought that Nathan would be so brave as to bring Davira to this family gathering? Laura's hatred deepened to see her.

Gayatri smiled faintly and then stepped on her feet with Amara, while Julian just stayed in place. Julian didn't want to talk to Nathan while he was being enveloped by emotions like he is today.

"Welcome, Davira. I didn't think you'd come here, you were so brave" said Gayatri still with a smile on her face.

"Nathan invited me, saying he would introduce me to all of you so that I would no longer be considered a mistress," Davira deliberately said that to insinuate Amara.

"That's the truth, Davira. You should be ashamed to have shown yourself in front of all of us, you know how many Xie families are currently here? They're all staring at you, aren't you ashamed? You are not welcome in this family" whispered Amara in a voice so slow that others would not hear her.

"I accept it, mother. Why is Davira ashamed? He's even the brightest among you" Nathan clasped Davira's hand and then kissed her in front of Gayatri and Amara.

It made Aaron's eyes widen to see it, the man then chuckled little at Nathan's courage, he was happy with this tense atmosphere.

Usually this family event held once a year is always boring, but this time it is very different. Nathan really gives a new color and atmosphere.

"Mara, what are you saying? We have to welcome Nathan's guests well" Gayatri smiled at Nathan and turned to Davira.

Gayatri shook her head, "You really surprised me, Nathan."

"I like to surprise."
