Part 69 - Creating a Davira Smile

Jakob hugged Davira tightly, reluctant to leave the woman with Nathan. But what can I do? Jakob cannot deny the fact that Nathan is not a good man, but Nathan is the right man to keep Davira safe and happy.

After all this is a decision taken by Davira, he is also unlikely to bring Davira back to a life that is not necessarily his direction.

"I'll miss you so much" Jakob rubbed Davira's head and let go of his embrace as he saw Nathan's unfriendly look on his face.

Davira smiled faintly, she also felt heavy parting ways with Jakob and the others. But he can't leave Nathan after everything that's happened, Nathan is a man who loves you sincerely unconditionally, Davira can't possibly leave a man like that when he's been cheated.

"I'll miss you too, please keep calling me wherever you are."

"That's for sure, Davira. We'll also visit you once in a while, we can still meet, right?"

"Of course, Liam. I'll wait for your visit" Davira replied as she looked at her friends.

"Arghh. We have to get used to it without you" Luca let out a long sigh.

"You guys gonna stay here?" fedrix asked in curiosity.

Nathan shook his head, "There's no way we're constantly living in Carlos' mansion. We'll go somewhere later."

Davira frowned at hearing that, because Nathan had not talked about it to him before.

"Where are you going?"

"I can't tell you guys, Mario. Because I haven't thought of a definite place either."

"Wherever you go, I hope you'll always protect Davira, Nathan."

"That's for sure, Jakob. There's nothing you need to worry about."

Jakob let out a long sigh then stuffed his suitcase into the car, Carlos gave them some clothes to carry.

"You're going now?" ask Davira who immediately got the nod from Dex.

"See you, Davira," Dex ruffled Davira's hair while chuckling.

Nathan cleared his throat briefly, "If you need help or something, you can call me. I will help, I must admit, you saved my life even at Davira's request."

"Of course you're the first person I'll call if I need help, because you have to return the favor to us" Jakob said, then got into his car.

"Quick Fedrix, you drive."

"See you pretty, see you" Fedrix hurriedly caught up with Jakob and immediately sat behind the wheel.

"Be careful when you do your job, you always put yourself in danger."

Liam smiled faintly at Davira's message.

"That's our life, Davira. That's how we live our lives" Liam and Luca embraced Davira briefly.

They all immediately drove their cars away from the grounds of Carlos' mansion.

Davira stared at their departure with a heavy heart, he felt that his friendship with the five of them was something precious.

"What's the matter Davira? You feeling sad?" nathan asked as he held onto Davira's shoulders and looked at the beautiful image of the woman.

"Yes, for the first time I have a friend. But unfortunately I have to stay away from them."

"What can I do? Jakob refuses to cooperate with me."

Davira let out a long sigh, "He doesn't like to be ruled, Jakob is the leader in his team. There's no way that he's working with you and being your subordinate."

"Never be sad, you will not be separated forever. I promise you'll meet them whenever you want" Nathan said, leaving Davira frowning in wonder.

"You serious? What's wrong with you? You're a little different" Davira looked at him in disbelief.

"Where are we going after this?"

"Where do you want us to go?" nathan asked making Davira stunned for a moment.

"Rome."

Davira's answer of course made Nathan shake his head.

"Why Rome? Choose another place, Davira. We're not going to Rome."

"Why not? You're gonna keep me running away from your family like I'm really your grandmother's killer? I'm tired of having to keep running away, moving around like someone did something wrong."

"You didn't do it, Davira. But you have to stay away from my family for a while, I don't want you to get hurt, you need to be in a safe place before I find any evidence of who the real culprit is. This time listen to me, Davira, I'm gonna get this all done and get my family to catch the real culprit."

Nathan cupped Davira's face, both looking at each other with eyes that implied feelings towards each other.

"Is there someone you suspect? The waiter, the family, were the only ones in the meeting. Isn't there anything you suspect, Nathan?"

"I can't tell anyone before I find the evidence, so be patient. Tomorrow morning I'll be back in Rome, you'll stay here, wait for me to come back."

"What are you going to do there?" ask Davira curiously.

"Meeting my father and meeting Aaron, I need to make them stop chasing you."

"That's not a good idea, Nathan. I know you're gonna meet that's your father and cousin, but isn't it gonna be dangerous? After everything that's happened, after you and Aaron tried to kill each other, you're still going to meet him?"

"I have to see him, Davira. I'll be fine, I want this matter to be resolved soon so you can be safe from my family's threats."

Nathan rubbed Davira's cheek and then peeked at the woman's forehead. Davira just stayed in his place with an uncalled feeling.

"I want to take you to the beach, I want to spend time with you today" Nathan said, holding Davira's hand.

Davira smiled at him then nodded his head.

A bright smile is finally seen on Davira's pretty face as Nathan's car stops at the beach looking so quiet and beautiful.

Davira gets out of the car and goes with Nathan to the beach. Nathan continued to look at Davira's face, the woman looked so beautiful with her long hair fluttering around in the wind of the beach that was blowing hard.

"Come on baby," Nathan crouches down in front of Davira making the woman immediately climb onto his back.

Davira chuckles as Nathan picks him up so easily.

"I've never been here before" muttered Davira feeling very happy Nathan took her to such a beautiful beach.

"I'll take you to places you've never been before, we'll keep traveling, see the world together."

Davira rubbed Nathan's hair and then kissed the man's shoulder.

"I'd love to do it, you really should take me wherever you go, Nathan."

"I promise, once everything is done I'll always take you with me."

Davira puts his chin on Nathan's shoulder, the man now carries it to the beach. Occasionally the waves hit his feet, Nathan was happy to make Davira smile today.

"Nathan," Davira called out to make Nathan turn to the side.

The faces of the two were now so close that they could feel the breath of each other.

Davira gave a small smile then briefly kissed Nathan's lips and then pressed their forehead.

"I'll always be with you."
