Jefri POV's.
My mind is a little messed up today. I can't think straight now either.
When we arrived in front of the ICCU, there was only Jerry, Nita and Jordy there. There is no Mama.
"Which mom?" I asked Jerry who was holding Jordy's arm.
"Ontyyy!" jordy exclaimed trying to release his father's grip.
"Mama inside. Papa nyari you," replied Jerry.
Jordy passed hugging Tika, she greeted Jordy with a warm embrace. Carrying and smashing Jordy with a kiss of affection on his big cheek. Jordy pleasure.
"Well, how come the cave came in?" I asked Jerry.
"Yes try it," said Jerry briefly.
I turned to Tika, "I went inside first huh?"
"Yes" he answered, allowing me.
Not waiting any longer, I immediately set my foot into the ICCU room.
A nurse approached me when I got in, and the nurse allowed me to see Papa.
It looks like Mama is sitting on a chair next to Papa's bed. Grasping Papa's fingers tightly while looking at each other. Without a word. They were like lovers at a young age.
I slowly approached them, until Papa noticed my presence. Capturing clearly my figure who is now standing behind Mama's seat.
I clutch Mama's soft shoulder. One of Mama's hands grabbed my grip. Touching and patting the back of my hand flashes.
"Excuse me," said someone behind us.
I turned my gaze, it turned out that it was the voice of the Doctor last afternoon who had met us. The doctor who treated Papa.
"For the time being, Mr. Atta has not been able to be moved to the inpatient room. We still have to check on him more intensively. Once again we apologize, this is for the progress of the condition of the Atta Pact itself," said the doctor.
Mama got out of her chair, stood face to face with the Doctor, "Yes, it's okay, Doc. I beg her for help for my husband's recovery."
"We will try our best. In a moment we will install Nasogastric Hose, it is a feeding hose used to supply the nutritional and nutritional intake that Pak Atta needs. The hose will be inserted through the nose to his stomach. Therefore, we need approval from the family, because if judging from his condition, it is really not possible for him to eat as usual." explained the Doctor.
"Do what's best according to the doctor" I interrupted.
"Well, can one of you come with me to sign the approval letter?"
"Let me just, Doc ...," I said again, "Mama here aja, said Papa."
I stepped out of the glass room where Papa was being treated. Following the steps of the Doctor in front of me.
Arriving in the Doctor's room, I was welcome to sit by him. The room is very clean and neat.
"Actually in addition to signing this document, there is one more thing I would like to tell you. Fortunately you are willing to sign this," said the doctor while taking a map located in his desk drawer.
Then the doctor sat in his chair, took a slow breath and exhaled slowly.
"Before signing the agreement, I want to explain a little about the condition of the Atta Pact first,"
"Why is it, Doc?" I try to calm down.
"After noon we did a series of total checks. Not only did we find signs of a stroke that Mr. Atta had, we also found blood clots in his skull. But we are still doing further tests" explained Dr Farhat.
Yeah, I just found out the doctor's name from the signboard perched on his desk.
"That's, Doc?"
"My estimate of blood clots is due to the narrowing of blood vessels, but I have not found exactly where. That's what got him a stroke."
"But it can still be cured, right, Doc?" my words are full of emphasis.
"We certainly do, but we also need the support of the family. In addition to controlling his food, we also need a family to control his thinking."
"Oh, fine, Doc."
"Later tonight we'll do this hose installation."
"So, can I ask you something?" askaku expectantly.
"Can, what is it?"
"Please go ahead if there is something important, let me know immediately. Just me."
"Well," said Dr. Farhat firmly.
I stood up and invited Doctor Farhat to shake hands, spontaneously standing up and welcoming my hands.
"Thank you, Doc. Please heal my Papa."
"We will try our best and do not stop to pray, the power of prayer is extraordinary."
I nodded steadily then immediately walked out of the room. I left Doctor Farhat still in his room.
There is a little relief in my heart for knowing Papa's true condition. He returned to the room where Papa was lying.
I opened the door that did not pass through the main door where Tika and the others were waiting. From a distance I saw Mama still faithfully clasping Papa's right hand in the infusion.
Papa fell asleep, his eyes closed. I approached them slowly and then I touched Mom's shoulder. Mama just glanced.
The sound of the heart rate machine enlivened the atmosphere of this glass-walled room. Chilly. I looked at the look on Papa's face that looked tired or maybe it was the look on his face that was holding back the pain. Against the illness he suffered.
"Ma, let Papa rest. Mama also needs rest," I'm curling up.
Mama nodded slowly and then stood up. He kissed Papa's forehead softly, stroked her cheeks and turned to face me and smiled. More like forcing me to smile.
I grabbed Mama's arm and invited her out of this room. Mama complies.
I slowly embraced Mama's sideways body as I walked, "Mama must be strong. Papa must be cured."
Without saying anything, Mama again nodded slowly while smiling forcefully with an empty look. The rest of the steps we got in front of the main door, suddenly the stiff steps of Mama stopped then spontaneously Mama immediately hugged me made me a little strangled in shock.
"Wow! Ma?"
Mama hugged tightly then slowly I heard her sobs.
"Ma, Ma ... Mama why?" I tried while stroking his back, trying to calm him down.
"A yes, Ma? I told you, Mama has to be strong for Papa, for us. I definitely don't want to see my mom like this. If Mama gini, then who's strong Papa? Who encouraged Papa to heal? Aye right?" I tried to strengthen my mother.
Slowly I held both arms of Mama, I pushed slowly so I could look at Mama's face. At that moment I realized, she was the only woman in this world who was the most fragile I had ever met. Especially when conditions like this.
"Ma, see me?" my door.
Mama slowly lifted her face, wiping the tears that soaked her cheeks. Looking at me with a sad look. Empty views. All of this is clearly visible at this time.
"Mama has to be strong, for Papa's sake. Mama must always be healthy so Papa someone takes care of her. Yea?" lirihku again.
Mama was silent for a moment, looking at my face. Then suddenly Mama hugged me. But this time without tears again, without sobs anymore. I hugged Mama tightly.
She's the woman I'm most obliged to protect right now besides my wife. Because, my parents will always be my responsibility, it will always be my duty to take care of them. With or without my wife's consent though, my mind.
