The Perfect Happiness

The Perfect Happiness
S2 - Eps 100

Pov Haikal.

As soon as Lisa and Alex decided to go home, I immediately suggested Max, so that some of his men would come to protect Lisa. At least give Lisa a sense of security, much better. Although all the problems about Dana arise as a result of Lisa's actions.

"I asked my assistant to take care of Lisa. Now they're sliding right into his house, just in case around there." Max answered while still focused on his phone screen, typing something.

"Do you know Lisa's home address?" investigate while again igniting a cigarette that I have slipped between my lips.

Max nodded, "I asked when we had dinner with Clara."

I just felt like I understood.

Later, Max also says that he is asking his assistant to find out about the goddamn guy. The man who dared to waste our sister, then now came back and intended to destroy her marriage.

That's how Max is, there's a cruel side to him, but there's a soft side to him that no outsider will ever know. What else in the business he's in now. Elbowing and dropping each other is common.

"Trus how's Clara doing now? Have you met him again?" ask Max suddenly.

Max's question this time surprised me, he looked at me with his eagle eyes. Remove the phone he was holding and put it on the table. Suddenly I froze. My lips were confused to answer that question. Though in the beginning I was the first to tell her about Clara, without her asking.

"Kal ... Clara how are you?" ask him again.

"Em .. is good! Mamah took him in."

"Are you sure he's the one?"

"Yes, if I'm not sure, why am I calling her ..," I'm a little annoyed by her question.

Max laughed giggling. "Who knows if he's sleeping because of the khilaf, has made people faint."

I sneered in annoyance at her voice. While Max again exhaled cigarette smoke that he had breathed before.

Last night I spent time with Max at my house. The house I hadn't lived in for a long time after Tika got married. Because I prefer to go home and rest there, even though the distance is too far.

Not without reason I choose to go home mamah, all that I do so that mamah does not feel lonely. That too Shilla, wife of Max, now more frequent visits bring Iceland and his sister, ah.

Max and I spent up to four o'clock shows over fifteen minutes. Just as Max's phone is ringing. A call from Shilla asking for her whereabouts.

Yes, Max is not the type of man who likes to roam outside the house to taste the woman of the night. Even if some of his co-workers take him to a nightclub, Max will be happy to drive them, but Max knows the limits. And he'll be home by two in the evening. Even as far as I was concerned, it was never the slightest bit in his brain to turn away from Shilla. That's what Max is great about.

"I'm going home first, right? Shilla's been hustling up again Iceland's gegara woke up asking for odot." Max turned off his cigarette. Then I drove him to the side of the road, where he parked his car.

"Kabarin if there's anything, don't wait for me to ask you a new news," he said as he got into his car. I just nodded. Shortly after, he left his car tracks.

I went back inside the house, headed to the balcony. Sitting alone finished the rest of my drink, while again igniting a cigarette. Thinks.

There are a lot of things I think about, not just about my personal life. But also about mom, Tika, Clara, the hospital and the hundreds of patients I deal with every day. Sometimes, I remember the mama speech back then.

"Don't just think of the happiness of the patient's family, but think of the family's own happiness."

That's what you said to me first. When I was still worried about Clara's presence. And maybe it's time, I think about my family. Prioritizing their lives.

I woke up from my sleep just as the alarm on my phone rang. Phone alarm from Clara. Before I fell asleep I sent him a short message to call me at ten in less than ten minutes. Sure enough, now he's calling at my request. I immediately received that phone call.

"Hallo's? Yes ... just woke up. At home, last night we had a chat with Max. Just go back there again. Bye ...," I said, then I disconnected the phone.

I threw my phone in the bed, and then I tried to stretch my body. It seems like I haven't slept in quality like that. I usually only get a few hours of sleep. It wasn't as comfortable as it was.

After I finished cleaning my body, I immediately went back to the hospital.

First, I decided to head to Clara's inpatient room, to visit my heart's angel. An angel who already has my heart in his hands.

"God!! What a parable this is, I'm really drunk in love with this" I muttered while in the elevator. I chuckled softly, fortunately in the elevator I was alone, there was no one else.

Ting ...

Elevator door opens.

"Loh .. Why is it here?" I was flabbergasted to see Max, the smile that bloomed on his face was similar to the smile of a Chucky doll. I was made to shiver at that smile.

"What are you even doing? Brother same mamah jengukin me even as if—"

"I was confused, just confused." Kusela Clara's. While Max laughed giggling while blinking one eye at me.

Clara POVs.

"Can't I just take my own sister-in-law?" max said to Haikal, as they clashed.

I laughed at the attitude of the two of them. Like cats and mice, but there is a sense of affection that includes both. His mother also just laughed and shook her head to see her son.

After the completion of the small dispute they finally reconcile due to reprimand from mamah. Shortly before Haikal came, there were indeed some questions that had astonished me. And the question was not from his mother but from his older brother, Max.

"Why would you accept Haikal's proposal? He is the type of guy who is less able to pay attention to others," said Max at the time.

I couldn't answer the question spontaneously. To be honest, that question is hard for me to answer. Wh why? I don't know. It's just that my heart is attracted to him. My heart chose it. But unfortunately the answer I could not say, my lips were already frozen to face him.

Not to mention the other consecutive questions that made my heart beat more irregularly. Huh!! It's a good thing that my heart could still be controlled if not? I might have fainted again, just like when her sister proposed to me.

"Yes, auntie came home first?" pamat mama, smiling looking at me.

Max nudged his mother's arm and said, "Kok still call aunty anyway? Call mama dong!" exclaim Max.

Again the joke that came out of his mouth made my heart beat. Once Haikal arrived, I was already a little relieved, because Max would not ask silly questions that I could not answer. But this time he tested me again.

Haikal was just grinning when his brother said that. And I can only smile wryly in response to Max's guyon.

Without returning to Max's response, his mother immediately hugged me and said a prayer for me to be healed soon. Similarly, Max who just waved his 'high five' to me.

Long after Haikal left to deliver his brother and mother, my parents came to see me. Because the plan is that once the test results come out this afternoon, I'll be allowed to go home. But stay in an outpatient condition, just like mom.

The afternoon ...

Both my parents are still in this room, and so is Haikal. Father and Haikal were talking while sitting on the sofa, while mother was sitting on the chair beside my bed. From the face, the mother already looks healthier and fresher, not pale like the previous days. Even yesterday I deliberately asked my father to bring my mother home. So that you can rest comfortably. My father and mother followed my request.

Then today they came back here again to wait for Ranti's doctor, brought me the test results on my Asthma.

Not long after, Ranti's doctor came to open the door and moved his foot closer to me. I, who had been sitting leaning back, was nervous, looking forward to the result. Because at this time both my parents already know if I also suffer from the same disease as mother.

"You can go home today, the test results state that Asthma you experience, can still be prevented. Prevented in the sense that you can still handle it so as not to become too severe." Dr. Ranti loudly explained.

Dad came closer as soon as he heard half the explanation from doctor Ranti, while Haikal was still sitting in his place, listening from afar.

"How to deal with it is the same as me, Doc?" ask her slowly.

"Yes Buk, same. It makes no difference. Try to always be clean and away from dust if you are at home. If you're out of the house, use a mask." Doctor Ranti nodded while giving an answer.

I also listened to her explanation. After that, there was not much we talked about to make Dr. Ranti decide to leave. And I can go home after the meds from the hospital have been given to me.

Father and mother immediately cleaned up some of our belongings, while Haikal slowly stepped closer to me who had been sitting on the lip of the bed.

"It's good if you sleeprest first at home, do not go straight to work tomorrow," he suggested while wiping the top of my head.

But I refused his advice raw, if I choose to bedrest, my salary could be cut back by the company where I work. Because just a few weeks ago I also fell ill, which caused me to have bedrest and permission to leave the office. So if I get sick again, then the rupiah coffers I collect will be forfeited.

Just because I rejected his suggestion, suddenly Haikal immediately say goodbye to my parents to return to work and apologize for not being able to accompany me to drive home. I was surprised to see his reaction. Like being sulky. A moment after he came out of the room, I chuckled amusedly. Likewise with father and mother, at first they were astonished but a split second later they laughed softly.
