The Perfect Happiness

The Perfect Happiness
S2 - Eps 104

Max POV's.

Mom and I have arrived home. I drove my mom inside and we headed straight for the kitchen.

Yes, the kitchen was one of my favorite places since a long time ago. Ever since I was a kid and I still live in this house. Our family spent much of our time in this place. Because for me, when eating is a very good time to talk to each other. Talk about all the things that have happened and will happen.

In the past, I was happy to be here, before the meal started. Seeing my mother and aunt Mince cooking, preparing a dish for us. Even mamah had taught me to cook and mamah also introduced me to the spices in the kitchen.

So no wonder if all the mamah children can actually cook, although not as good as him what else is as good as the chefs or chefs out there.

I went straight to the sink to clean my face. Moistened my eyes that had shed tears when hugging mamah. Likewise with mamah who immediately took a wet tissue and patted on his face.

I dried my face with the paper tissue that was there, then opened the refrigerator. Take a bottle of water and sip it straight away.

"How many times have you said, use a glass. You haven't changed!" reprimand mamah while patting my shoulder. Makes me a little surprised. Then smile grimly.

Mama also drinks, but uses a glass and takes warm water from the dispenser. Then mamah went back to daydreaming, staring at the back door with a blank look. I looked at the door and looked back at Mama. Just make sure if mom is really daydreaming.

"What else do you think?" my reproach. But mamah seemed not to hear my voice rebuking him. Until I have to call him back. "Mah!" My voice is slightly higher than before.

Mamah nodded and nodded. "Yes?"

I chuckle at the current behavior. "Mom why else? What else is being thought of now?" I said as I approached her and grabbed her with one hand.

I looked at my face from the side. The face of a mother who gave birth to me, gave birth to my two sisters. His skin is not as firm as it used to be. But his mind now forced him to think stronger than ever. Yes, I know very well, my mother must still think of us, her children, even though we already have our own little family. Except Haikal is still in process.

"If mama is no more, can you promise happiness to your brothers? And make yourself?" she turned to face me and placed her palm on my right chest, right where my heart was beating.

I hesitated to answer that question. I don't know why, but I don't think I can make myself happy, what else makes my brothers happy.

Mom looks at me with sadness. I slowly grabbed her hand that was attached to my chest, after I put down the water bottle that I had been holding. Then I grabbed her hand with both hands. I looked at the face of mamah.

"Well, I haven't dared to promise all that to you. What is clear is that we, as good children, want a happy mother. But if your happiness is when you see us happy, then we will always try to be happy. To mama and to papah." I immediately clenched my mother, bringing her into my arms. Then I pecked the top of his head.

I can only pray in my heart. May mama always be well-nourished. I hope he can see his granddaughter getting married. Attended the wedding of my son, son Haikal and son Tika.

There's no other prayer I want to say right now, that's all.

Jefri POV's.

Today was our last day of vacation in the Maldives. The plan is this afternoon at exactly one hour our plane will take off towards Indonesia. But before that Tika and I took the time to buy some souvenirs for family and relatives. Assisted by the driver provided by the inn, Tika and I walked down Majeedhee Magu.

Majeedhee Magu is a location for hunting souvenirs typical of the Maldives. Because there will be many sellers who offer typical Maldives trinkets. Starting from clothes, bags, watches, watches, and even cosmetic tools can be found easily in this place.

I allowed Tika to go shopping while circling the place, whereas I decided to wait for her at one point while smoking.

Can't we just talk?

Can't we just talk?

Talk about where we're goin'

Before we get lost

Let me out first

Can't get what we want without knowin'

I've never felt like this before

I apologize if I'm movin' too far

Can't we just talk?

Can't we just talk?

Figure out where we're growingin'

Suddenly my phone rings. Kurogoh pocket my pants to take my phone and see who called me, it was my mom. I immediately shifted the green mark that appeared on my phone screen.

Then mom answered across there in an anxious tone. Then I said that there was a serious situation that I immediately had to overcome once I arrived in Indonesia.

"But, Ma, I got him in the middle of the night. Indeed Mr Hardi can not handle first for a while? How do I know, Ma?!" rengekku is like a teenager who asked for his sentence to be commuted.

But her name is Mama, it's still mama. He insisted, that only I can solve the problem of papa's subsidiary that was just described by Mr. Hardi. I lightly squinted my front head. Pressing right on the side on both sides of my temples.

"Yes, my mother asked Mr. Hardi to send Great Company documents to my email. Later on the plane let me check first." I finally resigned with all kinds of persuasion mama.

Not done one problem about the bully guy, Dana. Now comes the issue of papa's subsidiary. My head is getting sick and throbbing. I finally started my cigarette again. Not even I actually took office officially, already treated to so many problems.

I took a long breath. Not long after, Tika came. Only a few groceries were brought, which were then greeted kindly by our driver.

"Why buy just a little? Money is not enough, is it?" I asked as he hugged me.

"Enough, just why buy a lot?"

I just answered her question with a smile that I then pecked her forehead, then took her back into the car. We're heading straight to the airport.

***

Our plane to Indonesia has taken off. Tika is engrossed in seeing the scenery presented by plane windows from above, looking at the increasingly smaller Maldives city land and some other beautiful islands around it.

Again I exhaled heavily. It was so heavy that I tried to close my eyes. Leaving behind Tika who was engrossed in admiring the view from above.

Shortly after, I woke up from my sleep. I immediately turned to look at Tika, looking at her who was also falling asleep beside me. Putting his head against a pillow on the wall of the chair.

I remember my mom's phone this morning. I stood up, took the notebook from inside the carry-on bag on the ceiling of the plane. Then open it, connecting it to a special internet connection on the plane to check email.

An email from Mr. Hardi has come in. There are some files that he sent then there is also a short message, it reads:

All the information I got still can not be ascertained its validity. I hope you can be wiser than me. Thanks though.

I frowned while reading the message. My mind is raging. What's with the papa company. Is this also one of the causes of papa getting sick yesterday? Then why is it that Mr. Hardi has only told me this matter now? It was months ago.

I had a glance at Tika who was still soundly asleep in her chair. Then my attention returned again to the notebook screen that displayed some files about Great Company, papa's subsidiary that had only been established for a few months.

There explained that the company lost the tender which caused the main company to suffer considerable losses due to Great Company having deposited some funds.

When I read some of the files at the beginning, my head has responded quite quickly, so it seems like my brain needs a freshness. I'm restless. Unfortunately, all the average aircraft does not provide a special room for smoking. And right now, I need that.

I rubbed my face rough. Shortly after, a flight attendant passed me and I called him.

"Sorry, is there a drink I can drink?" I said while emphasizing the final sentence.

"We provide a glass of wine if you want it." The flight attendant smiled while waiting for an answer from me.

I thought for a moment, then I agreed to the offer. The flight attendant immediately moved to walk towards the cabin crew in front to get a glass of wine.

Within five minutes, the flight attendant returned, accompanied by a stewardess. They prepared the glass, and the flight attendant slowly poured the wine into the glass in front of me. I thanked him afterwards. Then they also passed away.

I enjoyed the glass of red wine slowly as I watched and read the documents about the Great Company's report. Companies that should not be nominated in the tender of a large project. I don't know why Dad did that.

I glanced at my watch, now we have eight more hours in the air on this plane. We will be back in a few hours, back to Indonesia. Back to our routines. And papa's company chair is waiting for me.

I looked back at Tika who was still asleep. Then I touched her stomach slowly. Until indirectly my touch made him open his eyes and wake up.

I gave her my sweet smile. Then I kissed her lips.
