Happy reading ...

—————

Max POV's.

For the second time, I opened my eyes. Try to adjust to the light that is on the ceiling of this room. Then Ranti appeared from behind the curtain, approaching me.

"How's it feel? Still dizzy what?" Ranti checked my condition and again a beam from a small flashlight was directed at both of my eyes.

"Not bad," I said slowly.

After that, I opened my eyes. Adjusting to the existing light. Then ask Ranti to slightly raise the gurney part of my head. To get my waist moving a little.

There's not much I can do right now, while Ranti immediately passed after checking me out. Shortly after, Haikal showed up. He also said the same thing as what Ranti asked earlier. Then slightly pull the curtain to close.

"How long have you been taking antihistamines?" whispered Haikal to me.

I stammered, "A–aku ...."

"Max, it's an allergy medication that does cause drowsiness but if consumed trrus-continuously will not be good results." Haikal confirmed what I had done.

Yeah, I slowly confessed it to Max. I have been taking this medicine for a long time. Because I am struggling to have enough rest and quality time.

"But I haven't taken that medicine in a week, Kal." I defended myself looking for justification.

Haikal seemed to shake his head and I knew the meaning of his reaction. He hated cases like this. I know it. Shortly after, Shilla suddenly pulled the curtain over, leaving Haikal and I shocked to death. Did Shilla hear everything?

"Darling, are you okay?" shilla asked as she approached me and rubbed my face. I greeted him and smiled at him.

"You need to rest here, twenty-four hours!" haikal insisted with annoyance then he passed away leaving me and Shilla both in this room.

Shilla was silent even though she asked me why she fainted and went to the hospital. I explained to her and told her that I was just exhausted and lacking rest. He also said that mama is outside at the moment, along with Reza.

"I go out first, change to mama. He'll want to squirm you too." Wipe it on both of my cheeks and then he lands his kiss on my forehead.

Finally Shilla left and soon after came along with Haikal. He hugged me and asked why I was like this. I looked into Haikal's eyes after that I just answered my mommy's question.

"Fearful gummy, Mah." I answered simply.

Some time I and mamah talked until finally Haikal asked mamah to go home, because I will stay at the IGD until tomorrow.

"It's okay, Mah. Max just needs a complete break. At home, he would not rest. Let me take Mamah to the front, let Shilla say goodbye to her first." Haikal persuaded Mamah to return home. Leaving me lying in this place alone.

I don't know how many hours I've been in this room. As soon as Mamah and Shilla came home, Haikal immediately moved me here. Because before I was on IGD, how many times did I hear the voice of a new patient coming. The spirit then quieted. So it went on that I couldn't close my eyes. Can't rest in peace.

Suddenly Haikal was again present. But this time with a glass as well as some medicine in the container in his hand.

"I haven't been able to sleep quietly since that incident." I told Haikal my reasons.

His shoulders seemed to rise and then drop instantly. He took a breath and exhaled it. Then walk up to me. He told me to sit down and take the medicine he gave me.

"You know, I hate sleeping pills the most. And in the medical world a special drug for it is not very recommended. It even has to go through a doctor's prescription." Haikal sat on the edge of my gurney looking at me who was taking all the medicine from him one by one.

"Most sleep is also not good, can damage the brain's work system. I know you must be thinking, but it's all happening. After all, had I been in your position back then, maybe I would have done the same. And maybe, I'll point the tip of the firearm at his head, right in the middle of his forehead." Haikal added then welcomed the drinking glass I gave him.

"I have to be honest with Tika," I said, which was then approved by Haikal. At least there's some honesty I say, even if I'm still guilty.

The clock on the wall of this room has shown to the number seven, it means that the sky is blackened out there. Street and residential lights have started. Then I'm still in this room alone. Complete with oxygen hoses that are still attached to both my nostrils and also an infusion needle that is still stuck on one of the backs of my hands.

Haikal really locked me in here. Even he deliberately put me in a room whose door was opposite the guard table.

Tok tok!

"Come, Za!" take me.

Reza walked up to me and sat down on a chair near me. "Can't this be?" He grunts. And I just chuckle.

Then not long after the door was knocked again, this time a nurse came in and brought me a tray containing my dinner. I thanked him and as soon as the nurse came out, he passed Haikal. The nurse lowered her face at that moment. I laugh.

"Is something funny?" refute Haikal who walked over casually. Then give a lunch box to Reza who was greeted with his thanks.

I realized that Reza was still wearing the same clothes just before I fainted. Didn't she go home to Lisa? Or is he deliberately going nowhere?

"Aren't you coming home, Za?" chirpuku.

"From you on the IGD, he's waiting to sit outside" Haikal's sosor chuckled. I turned back to Reza who he replied with a faint smile.

We finally ate together at that time. While talking about some important things. Reza also shared his plans with Dave's company in London. Reza turned out to have his soft side behind his cold and tough attitude, even impressed firmly.

After I finished eating, Haikal gave me some medicine that I swallowed. Maybe it should be like this, I consulted him first about my condition, so that he could suggest drugs or other options for my problems.

Though before I always like that to him, telling stories and asking his opinion. But I don't know why lately I haven't thought at all about his name. Maybe true, I took too much medication with the effect of falling asleep, so my brain can not function anymore.

Tok tok!

The door to my room went off again this time, but it was not a nurse who came in, but a couple who came to visit me. No, they didn't visit me, rather they came here to visit Reza.

The couple is Alex and Lisa. They gave Reza a paper bag which contained a change of clothes. I knew it because Reza pulled out the contents of the paper bag.

"Thank you, huh?" reza said as he stood up and stepped towards the restroom in this room. Leaving us all. Then Haikal invited them both to sit down.

Talked together until a cold night that I thought was quiet without Shilla.

***

The next day I woke up with my body feeling fresher than before. I don't know what time last night I fell asleep and I don't know what time they all came back home. I sighed while looking at the ceiling of this room. Then once again take a breath and exhale it roughly through my mouth.

Suddenly the door opened without a knock from there. Then Haikal's head appeared from behind the door. "I think I'm still sleeping." He walked over to me.

"I called Shilla to get you home. And this ... is not a sleeping pill, just a vitamin. Watch out if you take sleeping pills again. Do not forget to rest, "haikal's nagging while giving a container containing several grains of medicine. I accepted it while laughing softly.

"Did you remember the same thing as rest?" I said return the sentence.

"...."

Haikal fell silent, he just looked at me and sat down on a chair. I got up from my sleep to sit down. Stretching the muscles of my body that feel tired. I asked him when this hose in my hand he would let go. But there is no answer.

I took a deep breath and slowly exhaled it through my mouth. Lowering my legs and sitting on my back against Haikal while moving both of my dangling ankles.

Tok tok!

"Excuse me." The voice of a female nurse was heard in tandem with the opening of the door of this room. He walked towards me then after I allowed his duty, he immediately released one by one the medical devices attached to my body. One of these damn infusions.

Yes, my hands have felt stiff and cramped due to that sharp object. How not? Since yesterday the needle was stuck on the back of my left hand, I was immediately afraid to move my hand. Feels numb, but now I can move.

The oxygen hose that previously adorned my nostrils had also managed to release itself. Last night in my consciousness that was thinning in my deep sleep. Right, I was finally able to fall asleep soundly. After weeks I took the damn medicine.

Now the time has shown at eleven o'clock in the afternoon. Shilla has arrived and is now in a state of being with me. Haikal picked up some stuff that stuck to my body last night, when Reza sent me to this hospital.
