ME 69 Canteen

"I don't recognize him at all." replied Matthew.

"Me too." added Jasper.

"Where are you guys from? Why don't you know about the monster? In fact, the monster was quite famous throughout the Andradius Continent. I didn't think you didn't know him."

"Ehm .. That, we live quite far from here, in a village close to the Morento Forest. Our parents rarely let us go out of the house. We know something only from books." Matthew explained.

"Ah like that apparently. All right, I'll explain to you what this thing is. This is Ardleigor, a mythical creature that exists in the Andradius Continent. There is a legend that says, Ardleigor is the ruler of the Andradius Continent, he is the one who protects this Continent."

"Say, if the Andradius Continent is in danger, then Ardleigor will come out to protect. Then, someone who meets Ardleigor will have good fortune in his life. Especially if he is recognized by Ardleigor." explained Leonard.

"Ah, apparently there is such a monster here. I didn't expect this monster to have such a great legend." Jasper said in awe.

If Jasper is already amazed by the statue, then Matthew is not. To him such legends were familiar to him. In his world, there was a variety of mythical creatures, ranging from those from Asia, Europe, and Africa. Every place has it.

"Where does Ardleigor live? If just seeing it makes someone have luck, then there will be many people looking for it, right?" matthew asked, while still staring at the statue of Ardleigor.

"I don't know. It's not just me, a lot of people don't know that. According to the Ardleigor legend book that I read, this monster has many features, it will only show its true appearance to the people he wants."

"Therefore, those who see firsthand the original form of Ardleigor, will have good fortune in his life. Luck will accompany their lives." Leonard explained.

They did not linger there. Ellie and Clarissa must be waiting for Matthew and Jasper.

"Matthew, Jasper." said Ellie when they got to the girls' dorm.

"Finally you came along Matt, I was so hungry. Let's go to the academy cafeteria. I hear the canteen here the food is good." Ellie.

"So, which one is your twin brother?" ask Leonard.

There were two girls in front of him but Matthew and Jasper said they had one more twin brother. That means one of them is twin brothers Matthew and Jasper.

"Ah .. Who is he?" ask Ellie.

Ellie realizes that her two brothers are with someone else. He was too busy thinking about what food was suitable for breakfast so he was not too focused.

"He's Leonard Hunt, just call Leo, and this Leo is our sister Ellie, and this is our friend Clarissa."

"It's nice to meet you" Leonard said. "You guys wanted to go to the cafeteria, right? I'll take you there. I happen to want breakfast too." Leonard explained.

On the way to the cafeteria, the group of five people met many students of Andradius Academy. At least Matthew saw that there were three colors of robes worn by the disciples. Blue, red, and purple.

Many students wearing blue robes greeted Leonard. It seems like this young man is quite famous here.

The canteen is here like a cafeteria in general. They took out a tray and moved towards the direction of the available food. There is someone who will help them get the food they want.

"Now it's still the holiday season, many of the academy's students are returning home to their respective kingdoms. Some also strengthen themselves by venturing in the Nordrhein Forest. Some are also like me, choosing to stay in the academy and train the elements."

"If we go to the cafeteria when all the students come back to the academy, then you won't be able to find a seat easily in the cafeteria. Everything must be full." Leonard explained.

"Let's just calm down, let me pay. The food here is not too expensive, but it has a good taste. I can still pay for it." said Leonard, shaking the bag of money on his waist.

"Are you sure Leo? We don't want to bankrupt you. Don't boast if you can't afford it. We're afraid you're sorry and crying later."

Ellie tries to ban Leonard from having the young man abandon his intention to treat them. If with John it is not too much of a problem, he is the Head of Andradius Academy who certainly has a lot of money.

But this is Leonard, a student of the academy whom Ellie believes doesn't have enough money. Practicing Ellie and her two brothers is tantamount to bankrupt themselves

Instead of complying with Ellie's request, Leonard was offended. He felt Ellie humbled him by saying she would go bankrupt if she bought them.

This made Leonard's desire to treat them even higher. Leonard wanted them to know that his money was more than enough to keep them full.

"I'm sure, very sure. I'll buy you whatever food you want. You can even eat as much as you're full."

"You're absolutely sure?" This time Jasper asked.

Jasper also began to feel bad if he drained the pockets of others to buy him food. So he also asked to confirm Leonard's words.

"I'm very sure. Don't ask anymore. We better pick the food now."

In her heart Clarissa lit a candle to express her condolences to Leonard's pouch. He was sure the bag would be drained now.

The three twin brothers had rejected Leonard's offer many times, but he insisted on treating them.

Matthew had the same thought as Clarissa. He decided to prepare some gold coins to give to Leonard.
