ME 13 Farewell Greetings

Three days just that. Not much preparation was done by Matthew and his two younger siblings. They only prepared a few pieces of clothing. For three days they did not do any exercises. Albert forbade them from training because he wanted the three of them to save their energy.

The journey they will take is a long journey that is quite tiring. According to Albert's estimation, if they continued to travel to Andradius Academy and only made stops when it was night to rest, they would still need two weeks. That was also if they used the usual teleportation portals in the big city.

Albert was still able to pay for the transportation portal to shorten the time they spent traveling. However not many cities had teleportation portals. That means they have to walk on foot during the trip. If so, it would take five weeks on the way.

If the head of the academy could find a monster that was tame enough for them to use as a vehicle, then their journey could be further shortened. But still it takes time. They still have to travel three to four weeks this way.

Albert forbade his three children to practice. Jasper spent three days in their Cosen Cow cage. The boy seemed reluctant to part with his milk producer for ten years. He can't imagine going forward what life would be like without drinking Cosen Cow's milk.

For ten years, Ken did drink Cosen Cow milk every day without any pause though. It was also that made him feel heavy parting with the monster. Now Ken is standing in front of Cosen Cow's cage, as if giving a final farewell.

“Already Jas. We can find a replacement for Cosen Cow later. We'll be out of here in a minute. I'm sure we can find some more delicious food. Who knows we can taste the milk from the platinum level monsters later.” Matthew patted Jasper's shoulder gently.

Matthew tried to comfort his twin brother. Ever since knowing the fact that the gluttony of his younger siblings was a side effect of the element they had, Matthew no longer took issue with their gluttony. Now he can understand that.

“But I will no longer be able to enjoy their milk Matt. You heard no, Dad said at least it took us a few weeks to get to Andradius Academy. The fastest time is three weeks. You can imagine it's Matt, three weeks without Cosen Cow's milk, what my life would be like.”

Matthew rolled his eyes at Jasper's words. “Do not overdo it like that Jas. You won't die even if you don't drink Jas.”'s milk

“Can't you have a little sympathy for me Matt? I'm sad right now. Especially since tomorrow we will no longer be able to eat Mother” cuisine said Ken a little angry. “I'm not sure we can eat well if we're with that Old Man.” Jasper whispered a little while saying this.

“Can't you stop being mad at him Jas. For God's sake, it's just a glass of milk. You still antagonize the Head of the Academy to date.”

“There will be no apologies for him. I will not forgive anyone who has taken my food. No matter how great she is I am not afraid of her.”

“As far as you go Jas.”

“But what Jasper said is true Matt. I will also not forgive anyone who snatches my food. That is my life.” Imbuh Ellie who had been silent listening to the debate between Matthew and Jasper.

“El is already on my team now Matt, two against one.” Said Jasper who was now doing a motion tos with Ellie.

“Are you guys done?” A voice stopped the brothers' third conversation. From a distance Elisha walked towards them. “Are you guys ready?” elisha asked who was standing in front of his three children.

Surely his three children will experience changes over the next few years, right? Elisha wanted to remember the faces of his three children. He wanted to remember the innocent faces of his three children. After this journey, Elisha was sure that their innocence would be lost. They might see blood after this.

“Come.” Elisha waved his hand to his three children.

Without waiting long Matthew approached his mother he knew what she wanted to do. As Matthew had expected, Elisha hugged his body tightly. Jasper and Ellie, who were behind Matthew, pulled Elisa into his arms.

There were no voices from the four men. They were silent as if enjoying this last moment before they parted. Elisha gave his arms to his children. He held Matthew's head with both hands. With her thumb Elisha stroked Matthew's cheek.

“You're the oldest. I know you have higher intelligence and maturity than kids your age. I want you to take care of your two sisters. Don't let them act recklessly just because to fill their stomachs. I also want you to stop giving your rations to your sister. You also need nutrients to grow. Don't spoil your sister.”

Elisha once again hugged Matthew briefly and then kissed his eldest son's forehead. Elisha's eyes began to glaze over as he looked towards Jasper. He did the same thing he did to Matthew. Elisha put both his hands on Jasper's head.

“You must obey your brother's words. Don't act recklessly. Even though your brother is an adult he is sometimes too stressed in thinking about something. You should be able to remind him. Your physique is stronger than your brother's, I want you to protect him too.”

“Don't just think with your stomach. Sometimes you need to consult your brother before you do anything. You also don't keep asking your brother for food.”

Jasper wiped away the tears that were on Elisha's cheek. “Don't cry Mom. If you cry, then your beauty will diminish. I'd hit you if you saw you crying like this. He must think I did something to you. Don't cry Mother.” Jasper tried to calm Elisha down.

Matthew memorized them and hugged Elisha from the side. Ellie also did not want to miss hugging their mother who had now started crying.

“We will remember all your advice Mother. You don't have to worry about us. We'll take care of each other. Just like Mom and Dad take care of each other. I won't let anything bad happen to Jasper and Ellie.”

“Again the Head of Academy will accompany us on this journey. At least with him we'll be fine, won't we? After this we will be in the academy. That's the safest place for us right now, isn't it? So you don't have to worry about me and my two sisters.” Matthew tried to convince his mother.

Elisha took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. “Good. Mom will stop crying.” Elisha said, wiping away his tears.

Elisha then handed Matthew a small bag. According to Matthew, the shape of the bag is similar to the bag of money in ancient times in his world first. The bag is made of monster leather.

In the outer shell of the pouch Matthew could see faint lines forming a rune. After Matthew focused his attention on the pouch, Matthew could see several silver-colored element balls around the pouch. A thought just popped into Matthew's mind when he saw that.

‘Is this what is called a portable bag that has storage space in it?’ matthew muttered in his heart.
