ME 26 Using Elements

That smile sounded so long. But it's actually only a few seconds. At this moment Matthew saw some elements that were already “bergeman” with him, entering his body. Matthew could sense that the elements were moving actively following his bloodstream.

Matthew was trying to do something. He focused his attention on the fire element he had.

‘My friends fire element, help me in this fight. Gather.’ Matthew murmured in his heart.

He then snatched it into the empty air in front of him, right where the enemy in front of him was. Although this sword would not hit his enemy, Matthew somehow suddenly believed that this attack could hurt his enemy. Sure enough, not long after the miracle happened.

From the tip of the sword Matthew struck out a ball of fire. However, the fireball was not very big. Just the size of a marble. Maybe because Matthew's own level is still so low that he can't take out a large fireball.

The fireball hit his enemy's clothes. They only wore clothes from cloth instead of monster skin. So, what they wear can burn easily. Matthew's enemy immediately shouted trying to extinguish the fire that hit him.

But the fire moved quickly. Now that his clothes were burned, it was his turn to burn his skin. He started screaming in pain.

Seeing that his attack was successful, Matthew rushed for another attack. He came back to do the same. This time Matthew attacked the person who was on his right. The man also suffered a similar fate. Clothes burn.

When he wanted to do the third attack, Matthew felt he could not do it. Indeed the fire elements had already gathered in his right hand, but he could not get them out of his body. It was as if he no longer had the strength to do so.

There were two fists pointing towards him. Matthew intended to jump away from the opponent's attack. However, before he could do so, his legs were pulled by someone. Apparently the man Matthew first hurt right now is pulling his leg. That made Matthew fall.

This opportunity was not wasted by those who were not injured in this fight. One of them nodded at Matthew. In this way, Matthew won't be able to escape from here.

The man then intended to hit Matthew in the face with his fist. The energy he was using now was quite large. If this fist hit Matthew's head, it would make his face battered. There is also a possibility that his teeth will be dislodged because of the fist.

But something surprising happened. As the man raised his fist against Matthew's face, his fist stopped three centimeters from Matthew's skin. There was a thin screen fifteen centimeters in diameter, which came from the water, stopping the attack from the man.

Now he can use the water element to protect himself. Matthew thought of something else. There was a possibility at his current level, he could only use two attacks from every element he had.

This meant that he still had seven more attacks to be able to defeat these people. Two strikes for each element of light, lightning, and air. Then one attack from the water element.

Without thinking long, Matthew just use the knowledge he had in his previous life. He attacked the man who now opposes him with the element of water. The man's body became wet.

He just laughed because what Matthew did didn't hurt him at all. But the laughter came to a halt when Matthew used his lightning element to attack the man. Water is a good conductor of electricity.

Now, the man who was beating Matthew had convulsions because of the electric shock that Matthew gave. It made him fall to the ground. In this way, Matthew could move freely again.

But, even though there was already nothing holding him back, Matthew could not move easily. Something was still holding his body. This made Matthew look towards the lower part of his body.

Matthew could see that his abdomen and legs were now covered with hardened soil. He could see the earth around the ground. This means, there was a professional who was attacking him.

Not long after, Matthew heard the sound of footsteps and an applause from someone. That guy has a pretty big body. In his hand was a long stick on which was a brownish-colored crystal. Matthew could see many earth elements gathered there.

‘Sial there is a professional among them.’ Matthew murmured in his heart.

“Bos Leonard.” Shouted some of the five Matthew attackers who could still speak fluently.

“This kid boss has three elements Boss. We have to catch him. I'm sure Mr. Sein will be very happy if we hand this child over to him.” Say one of the people there.

“I've seen all that. You guys are working really well. I'm sure you'll get a pretty good present from Mr. Sein. Just wait for him to come back here.” Answer the man named Leonard.

After saying so, the man named Leonard approached Matthew who was still lying on the ground. He showed a big smile.

“Hem... Your talent is pretty good young man. If you want to join my group, then you'll get a lot of amazing benefits. But, if you refuse, then be prepared to lose all the elements you have.” Leonard half-whispered to Matthew.
