"Dam." Bump Arthur hard.

Arthur seemed to forget that in front of him now there is still John. He was so upset after hearing John's explanation of what had really happened.

"Calm down, Arthur, don't get too emotional. We need to think about this with a cold head. If we are too emotional, then the decisions we will make will hurt us. So, you need to calm your diction." Said John.

Hearing John's words, Arthur took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. John said, emotions will not solve this problem. All he had to do was to be calm and devise a plan to avenge those people from Black Shadow.

That way, his frustration will disappear later. Then he could also help reduce the power of Black Shadow.

"I'm sorry the Head of Academy. I was too emotional to hear your words earlier. I didn't expect I would be the target of Black Shadow's plans. They even have the courage to target the children we will recruit.”

“Then now what are we going to do Headmaster? There's no way we're not just letting them be free. We need to do something to overcome this.”

“That's why I'm here. I want you and some of the guys from the academy to get ready. Tonight we're going to finish off those people from the Black Shadow organization. They will be following the auction at the Ateoviel Auction House. So get ready.” Obviously John.

“Good, I can vent my frustration to them tonight. Take it easy, Academy Head, I will prepare everything so that tonight's plan runs smoothly.”

The atmosphere in the auction house was already quite crowded when they got there. In this house there are special rooms for auction participants who want to buy auction items. But those who could occupy such rooms were only people who had status.

John could have taken them to those special rooms. Arthur had already offered that to the man. But John didn't want to get too many highlights. It made the man prefer to sit in the chair provided in the hall.

According to John, wherever they sit, it's the same. What determines the winner of the auction item are those who can offer a higher price than others. Not those who sit in a special room or in a hall. So according to John they do not have to sit in a special room.

Moreover, he now wanted to know who the people from the Black Shadow organization were. John thought they wouldn't be in those rooms. They must have mingled with the others in the hall.

With their identities, those people could not blatantly ask for a special booth to attend this auction. There was no way that they would not just announce their identities.

“Grandfather John, are there any items you want to buy?” jasper asked as they sat in the empty seats.

“I don't know Jas yet. If there's a good item, then I'll buy it. If not, I'll just watch it. Just consider this as entertainment.” John replied relaxed.

“But, remember also our focus tonight what. I'm asking you to put your ears on Matt, try to find out who the two people who were next to your room this morning.” said John recalls.

“Sure Grandpa John, I remember him. Don't worry about it.” replied Mattthew.

“Goodnight Ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Ateoviel Auction House. In the auction this time, I Harry will be the auction guide. There will be thirty items that will be at auction tonight. Please raise your hand before mentioning the nominal money you offer.”

“Harry, quickly remove items that will be auctioned. Don't beat around the bush anymore.” A person sitting on the chair in the hall could be heard shouting at Harry, the auction guide.

“Alright, alright. It seems that the ladies and gentlemen are impatient to want me to start this auction immediately. Well let's see the first item.”

A woman is seen entering the stage by pushing a small trolley towards the center of the stage. On top of the trolley there is an object covered in red cloth. After getting a nod from Harry, the woman opened the covering cloth that covered the goods to be at the auction.

Behind the cloth was a sword which, if carefully observed, emitted a faint golden light. The sword was also equipped with faint runes. Harry's voice was heard again. The man briefly explained about the sword.

“This is a gold-level sword by blacksmith Master Antonio. Tonight Master Antonio entrusted Ateoviel Auction House to auction off four swords and four wands. The eight weapons had the fire element, earth element, water element and air element. So there will be one sword and one magic wand for all four elements.”

“For the first one we will auction the sword with fire element. This sword is opened at the price of one thousand and five hundred gold coins, and you can raise the price at least fifty gold coins more than the price offered before. All right this auction we open.” Harry tapped the hammer on the podium once, as a sign of the start of the auction.

Matthew did not think that even weapons had a certain level. And look at that, the price offered is very high. This meant that the market price for weapons at the gold level was much higher than two to three thousand gold coins. It could be double the initial price offered at the beginning of the auction.

Being a professional does cost a lot. Weapons are that expensive. Not to mention for the others like buying potions, special clothes, and such. Now Matthew felt that what his parents had given him was nothing.

Matthew thought his parents gave too much pocket money for him and his two younger siblings, it turned out that the money was preparation for those who began to plunge in the professional world.

Indeed, with their current strength, the money was more than enough to meet their needs. But, if Matthew can not manage his finances well, then in a short time the money will run out.

“One thousand eight hundred fifty gold coins.” Shouted someone.

“One thousand nine hundred seventy.”

Shouts after shouts rang out in the hall of the auction house. The price of the sword that was now in the auction rose rapidly. But when the price reaches two thousand four hundred gold coins, not too many try to raise the price.

It seemed like the market price of the weapon was in the range of two thousand five hundred to two thousand seven hundred gold coins. In the end the sword was sold to a red-haired man for two thousand six hundred and seventy gold coins.

One by one the auction items began to be sold. Shouts of offer began to be heard there. The more the night, the louder the screams that were fighting over the items that were in the auction.

Until at the seventeenth auction, Matthew who was previously rather sleepy immediately rebounded. He looked towards John.
