“What do you want to order Mr?” ask a waiter who now offers the menu book to the four people.
“Grandfather John, you've been here, haven't you? Do you have any food suggestions what we need to try.” Ask Ellie.
Looking at the various kinds of food on the menu, making saliva drool at the corner of Ellie's lips. I can't wait to try new food. Jasper is no different. He even took some of the pictures on the menu very seriously.
“You can try sub ribs, their rib soup is very tasty.” John gave me advice.
“You are absolutely right Sir. Our homemade rib soup is selected from quality ingredients. This soup is cooked directly by our chef when order comes so the taste of this cuisine will be guaranteed.” Said the waiter in support of the statement John made.
“Good. I order three bowls of rib soup, one basket of bread and three big glasses of milk from whatever monster you have.” Ellie.
“So three bowls of rib soup and two baskets of bread? Is there an addition?” ask the waiter to reconfirm the order Ellie made.
“It was just my brother's order. I also ordered the same as my brother.” Jasper.
“I'm the same. Give me the same amount as their order. If less, maybe I'll have another message. Our Grandpa John has ordered, What do you want to order?” Matthew asked, looking at John.
“Please like them.” John replied briefly.
The waiter was a little incredulous hearing the order quantity from the customer in front of him. He thought this little girl was ordering food for the four of them. But no, it was the food he ordered for himself. Is he willing to eat that much?
“So, your order is twelve bowls of rib soup, four bread baskets and twelve large glasses of milk. Is all that true?” ask the waiter to try to reconfirm the order.
“Iya. There's nothing wrong. Maybe that's enough for now. If less we will order again.” said John.
“Ehm. I'll send your order to the kitchen. Please be patient waiting.”
John shook his head looking at the waiter who looked shocked at the large number of orders they had made.
“This always happens. Every time I eat at a store, they will ask me several times to confirm the amount of food I order. It's very troublesome.” Said John when the waiter was no longer visible.
“Indeed looks really troublesome Grandpa John. Thankfully, Matthew cooked. So later when in the academy, I can easily eat good food and a lot without the need to do troublesome things like this.” Answer Jasper.
“Sials. You remind me of that. Once you guys are in the academy I will no longer be able to eat comfortably when traveling.”
“I have to all the time to stock up on food in large quantities when I find a store with delicious food. I can no longer taste fresh food when traveling.” Complain John.
“Although I had foods stored in the space ring not stale, but it was unsatisfactory. Imagining eating food that is already a dozen days old sometimes decreases my appetite.” Grunts John.
“Why don't you cook your own food Grandpa John? Can't you also get fresh food if you cook it yourself?” ask Ellie.
“I can't cook. My cooking always fails. If it wasn't too salty, the food I cooked would have been too sweet. Everything is not good.” Reveal John.
John has tried cooking many times during his adventures. He never made food worth eating. John was always stuffing food in his space ring. Sometimes, if his meal in the space ring ran out, John was forced to eat the flesh of a tasteless monster without any seasoning.
John was always jealous of those who were good at cooking. They can prepare any good food they want.
“It was also very troublesome Jas. I wasted a lot of time learning to cook. Instead of learning to cook, I better use the time I have to find a store that sells the best food.” Answer John.
“Not if we can cook, we don't need to look for good food. All we need to do is find a good food recipe. Wherever we are if we can cook, we can eat all the good food.” Imbuh Matthew's.
“Wouldn't it be a huge waste of time to travel looking for the shops that sell food Grandpa John?”
Again, John was defeated in a debate with the two children in front of him. “If you say like that Matt, then I will no longer travel. But during my time at the academy, you have to teach me how to cook well.”
“I'm going to the academy to study, not to be a cooking teacher. Why should I teach you to cook?” Matthew Protest.
Not only John, his time is precious. Himself is too. His time is precious too. He wanted to focus on learning to be stronger, not teaching someone to cook.
“No need to argue anymore, everything is decided. For three weeks you'll teach me how to cook.” John decided.
“Can't be so Grandpa John. You can't decide it unilaterally like that.”
“Let's relax I'll pay you to teach me how to cook. You won't be harmed at all. You will benefit from this transaction.” Answer John.
“All the materials I will prepare, you just need to supervise and give me instructions. How about it?” Rose John.
“Hem…. Well, I accept your offer, it's Grandpa John. But, if later your offer harms me, I can cancel this cooperation at any time. If you can't give me that guarantee, then I won't teach you how to cook.” Matthew Clear.
“Sure-certain.”
While the four men were chatting and torturing, there was a small twitch, at another corner in The Snoring Turtle.
A teenager walked haughtily toward someone who was his servant. With his head slightly looking up, the teenager said in a tone that was no less haughty.
“How? Did you manage to get a room?” ask the teenager.
“I'm sorry Young Master, I failed to get the last room here. Someone has already booked the last room here.” Said the servant with his head lowered, not daring to look at the notorious master.
Plaque.
A pretty loud slap was heard there. The teenager slapped hard on the waiter in front of him until the servant fell down.
“Stupid. That little task you can't finish. Basic no becus. My family paid you high. But this small task alone You failed to carry it out.”
“Why don't you wear those ugly feet of yours to run? If only you ran You could have got the room and not be known by others.” Snatch the teenager.
“Then, if it's like this how? Where should I stay? If not here, is there any other place that is best suited to be the place where a child Earl stays. Answer me?” The teenager kicked his servant who was still lying on the floor hard.
The servant did not dare to stand up. If he had not been allowed to stand, then his life could have been lost in the hands of his master.
Better like this. He only needed to endure this pain rather than having to lose his life. Its predecessors were numerous and only a small mistake they lost their lives. This servant did not want to have the same fate as those people.
