“How? Are you guys interested? You guys just pay me three hundred low-level Crystals for eggs with silver potency, two hundred medium-level Crystals for eggs with gold potency, and one hundred medium-level Crystals for eggs with platinum potency.”

“It's cheaper, than you guys have to fight the price in the pawn house. There the competition is pretty tight. The price I give can go up many times.” Obviously Tom with lips still adorned with a grin.

It was clearly not this man would ask for money when showing such a grin.

“Kids, I warn you. Never make a transaction with Tom, if you are not pressed. The price he offered was usually much more expensive. If you have the ability, later you can get your own monster eggs.” said John suddenly.

“John don't ruin my business. I'm just a fair trader. All the items I offer have quality according to the price. So, it's definitely more expensive. The eggs of the monsters I sold were clearly the eggs of monsters with fighting abilities."

“Unlike those sold by the people of that auction house. The eggs they sell do not necessarily have fighting abilities. Indeed the eggs have high potential but not necessarily they can fight.” Tom was obviously defending himself.

“Heh.” John grunted quietly. “If you want to have monsters to be your comrades, you only need to have the highest grades in your generation later in the Academy. The first rank in each batch could usually get one monster egg. It was clearly a monter who had fighting ability.”

“But their potential is very ugly isn't it? It would be a lie if those eggs had silver potential. That doesn't help much.” Tom's Scorn.

“I'm not sure these kids will buy your stuff Tom. Both of their parents are already at platinum level. So if these kids really want monster eggs, they'll be happy to find the best for their kids.”

John's words immediately silenced Tom's mouth. John's words have a point. Both parents of these children were capable enough to find monster eggs for their children. So, the three of them no longer needed to ask others to help them obtain the monster eggs.

John's words awakened Jasper. Previously he intended to persuade Matthew to buy him a monster egg owned by Tom. But now there is no need.

If he really wanted to, Albert and Elisha would have happily given him a monster egg. As John says, it's pretty easy for both of them to do just that.

Afterwards, during the trip they did not make much noise. They just stayed on Tyson's back which still remained at his high speed carrying them darting between the clouds.

….

Their journey went well. This time they did not encounter any obstacles. Other than resting to eat and sleep at night they did not stop at all.

The group of five people and one monster spent the night in the open. It was the first time Matthew and his two younger siblings had actually slept in the open.

During this journey, they rested in inns or in carriages. This is their first time sleeping in the open.

This time Matthew was much better prepared. He had prepared some thick blankets and a bed to sleep on. At least this can help him and his two younger siblings to avoid the cold night breeze and insect bites.

Traveling by flying up monsters like this made them able to easily see the natural beauty around them.

The feeling is very different when compared to riding a train. Moreover, riding a flying monster was not too much of a shock, unlike a carriage. So riding a flying monster is much more convenient than stabbing a train in this world.

Within two days of their journey they had reached their destination. Greenwood city. From where he was, Matthew could see that Greenwood City looked much wider than the Suiria City he had visited.

Although Matthew himself had not had time to surround Suiria City, but he could compare the width of the gates of the two cities.

If Suiria City had a city gate that could pass through four carriages at once, then the gate of Greenwood City could pass through eight carriages at once. From there, Matthew can estimate that Greenwood City has a larger area than Suiria City.

If Matthew does not remember wrongly, John once said that Greenwood City was the capital of Starwood Kingdom.

It was no wonder that this city was much larger. Moreover, Matthew could faintly see that Greenwood City had many towering buildings. At least Matthew's tallest building is estimated to have ten floors.

Tom told Tyson to land a kilometer before Greenwood City. The man chose to land in the middle of a forest that has a fairly roomy area that is not far from the road leading to Greenwood City.

“I'll just take you here.” Tom said as the passengers got off.

“You didn't stop by Greenwood City first Tom?” ask John.

Tom shook his head slowly. “No. I still have other business. We're separated here, kids. Next time if you need help you can come to my place. Pawn House Old Tom. If the price is suitable I will definitely help you guys.” A wicked grin was seen adorning Tom's lips.

“I go first John. At the end of the year I will visit the Academy. I hope when I get there, you're at the academy. If not, I'll borrow your collection books. You've borrowed too long from me. Goodby. See you soon.”

After saying that, Tom asked Tyson to fly again. The monster flew a few rounds before disappearing behind the clouds.

“Good kids. We still need to walk to Greenwood City. After this we will look for lodging to rest and clean ourselves.” John said shortly after Tom's departure.

“Finally we can get to the city. I want to sleep in a comfortable place after this. Sleeping in the open was not as pleasant as that.” Complain Ellie.

“Who also said that sleeping in the wild is fun? That's the most dangerous place. You must at all times maintain your vigilance if you spend the night in the wild. Since you don't know, there might be monsters lurking around you and waiting until you let your guard down.” Obviously John.

“But after this you do not need to worry about it.We will rest long enough in the city of Greenwood. We rest there for four days at the earliest. At the latest ten days. So you can rest as much as El.” Imbuh John's.

“Good. I've missed with a soft mattress.” Answer Ellie.
