Chapter 6, Crumb - The Crumb of Love (Part 1)

The next day, Shaka woke up late. In a hurry, he went to school after saying goodbye to his father and mother.

" Shaka, don't forget this afternoon?" mother said.

"Yes, Bu" said Shaka as he left for school.

Ahhh.., all those questions couldn't get me to sleep last night, Shaka grumbled. He left with an uncertain feeling. The curiosity about Besty and the events they shared yesterday still lingered in his heart and mind. However, he did not expect the romantic moment to repeat itself. The pain in his heart was still tightly wrapped and shut in his feelings about love.

Time shows at 06:55 am. The school gate will be closed in 5 minutes. Rather hurriedly, Shaka got down from the angkot and was about to cross the road leading to his school. But his steps stopped when he saw Joni was talking to 3 friends who were wearing free clothes in front of the school gate. Soon, Joni enters the school gate and the three friends leave, disappearing from Shaka's sight.

"It seems like they are planning something." Shaka muttered softly.

Shaka then remembered Besty and the incident they experienced yesterday. He didn't want anything to happen to Besty.

"I have to do something" Shaka said inwardly.

Shaka then crossed the street quickly after seeing the School Guard Man walking towards the gate to close it.

In the classroom, Bobi does not stop asking about Shaka's situation. Shaka is reluctant to respond to Bobi's question. But with a constant insistence, Shaka finally answered Bobi's question after Bobi promised not to do anything in accordance with Shaka's request.

"Badly him!!! I'll teach him a lesson. Just look at it later." Bobi said furiously.

"Ok dahhh, watch him later. Again he did that. I'm not going to forgive him." said Bobi in a fiery voice.

Shaka just smiled at Bobi's behavior. He knows the short-spoken character of Bobi. But behind his character, Shaka knows that Bobi is a good and loyal friend.

The bell rang, a sign that the break had begun. Shaka then rushed off from his class. Bobi can only look at Shaka's behavior. Bobi was surprised, Tumben Shaka immediately left the class quickly. Usually he is very ogah - ogahan to go when the clock breaks. If not forced by Bobi, Shaka prefers to stay in class while reading books rather than going to the cafeteria.

In a hurry, Shaka went to the Besty class. But upon arriving at Besty's class, Shaka undoes his intention to enter. Shame covered his heart. He could only look at Besty from outside the window of Besty's class. Besty's best friend noticed it and then whispered into Besty's ear. To his surprise, Besty looked out the window and then he got out of the chair he was sitting in to meet Shaka.

"Hai Shaka, what's wrong?" besty.

"You want to come home with me?" said Shaka.

Besty smiled then nodded her head.

"I'll take you home" said Shaka.

"From now on." continued Shaka.

"Ha." said Besty with his mouth open.

Besty was shocked to death by Shaka's words. It was as if - would not believe the words - Shaka said. He continued to look at Shaka without saying anything.

"Wait for me in front of your class. Don't go anywhere - where. I'll come for you." said Shaka.

Meanwhile, when Shaka goes out of class during the break, Sherly comes to Shaka's class. But he was surprised because he only saw Bobi who was about to go to the cafeteria. He asked where Shaka had gone. But Bobi just answered not knowing while shaking his head.

With a frown, Sherly returned to her class. But on the way Sherly sees Shaka from a distance. Sontak Sherly runs towards Shaka. Then Sherly approached and pulled her hand. Shaka was surprised and stopped his steps. Shaka turned around and looked at Sherly who was smiling with her cherry.

Sherly is shocked when she sees Shaka's bruised face. He asked seriously about the incident. But lightly, Shaka replied that he had just fallen. He didn't want Sherly to worry too much about her situation. He also did not want the problem that hit him to be a big problem. Sherly seems to be in disbelief for a while, but then Sherly shifts the subject by taking Shaka away. Sherly asks Shaka to accompany her to go to the bookstore. But Shaka apologized and said that he still had business with others.

"Maybe next time huh, Sher" Shaka said with a smile.

Finally with her face back in a frown, Sherly leaves Shaka and returns to class.

"Is he still heartbroken?" said Sherly speaking to herself.

"Ihhhhh, because of Tari, Shaka has changed a lot".Sherly continued with his own annoyance while entering his class.

When the bell from school had rang, Shaka immediately packed his textbook and went to Besty's class. Arriving there, he saw Besty sitting on the front porch of his class. He waited for Shaka while shaking his legs back and forth.

Seeing Besty's child-like behavior, Shaka gave a small laugh. Seeing Shaka laugh, Besty was surprised and immediately stood up.

He asked why Shaka was laughing. Is Shaka mocking or laughing at her? asked Besty while mimicking a spoiled pout. Shaka just said that he did not imagine that the girl who was considered cruel by his friends, turned out to have another side that was funny and sweet.

" It's pretty too, right?" besty said with a smile.

"Yes, you're beautiful."

"But keep your beauty for me. No one else, I won't be part of it" Shaka said as he looked at Besty.

" Come, go home." Shaka continued.

Besty laughs shyly and then follows Shaka who leaves their school class.

During the return trip, Besty asked a lot about Shaka. About the Shaka family and the things Shaka likes and hates. Sometimes Besty also tells about herself. About her favorite food. About the things that make him laugh and other things that he really wants to do.

Upon arriving at his home, Besty invited him inside. But Shaka refuses subtly and says that he will stop by next time. He said that he had promised to accompany his mother to his tantric house this afternoon.

But before Shaka left, Shaka borrowed Besty's phone and then called a number from Besty's phone. Shortly thereafter, the phone in Shaka's pants pocket rang. After that, Shaka turned off the phone call from Besty's phone and handed the phone back saying :

"Save my number. Call me if you need anything. I must be there for you" Shaka said.

" Thank you" said Besty blushing in embarrassment.

Then Shaka went home. Besty looks at Shaka until he disappears from Besty's sight. With a flowery heart - flowers and lips that kept smiling, Besty walked into the house. Bik Imah who saw the beautiful smile of Besty also felt happy. Bik Imah saw a glimmer of hope had returned present in Besty. Warming the heart and feelings of Besty who had been frozen due to family problems experienced.
