Day after day passed, it did not feel like it had been 3 months for Shaka and Besty to date. They spend their courtship time together by going to places that present a refreshing view of nature such as flower gardens, tea gardens and apples. In addition, they also go other places that appease the heart such as the scenery area of the Arjuno mountain area, Mount Banyak and also Mount Putri Bed. They enjoy their courtship by filling each other with the affection between them. Not with lust like other couples who are kasmaran.
Shaka tries to give all his heart to Besty. His past experiences led him to try his best to introduce the meaning of love to her. He is determined to make Besty always happy when he is by his side. He tried to make Besty feel comfortable when close to him. He also tried to make Besty always smile and laugh with his presence. He is sure that his sincerity will be able to take Besty away from the lack of success and the consequences of his past.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Besty really enjoyed her time with Shaka. He really likes the caring and mature nature of Shaka. He also really likes the nature of Shaka who seems cool, but very warm and loving. So without him knowing, the sincerity of Shaka's heart makes the heart and feelings that are in him. Slowly make Shaka the only place to lean. That will always make him strong to hold all the burdens in his heart and also make him strong to bear the pain of the wounds in his past.
Shaka feels he is getting closer and closer to Besty. But he could not deny that he was getting further away from Sherly. He was happy and happy to have Besty by his side. But on the other hand he feels something is empty since Sherly decided to stay away from him.
For three months now, Sherly has been cold and quiet. He has never contacted Shaka. He also tries to avoid when Shaka tries to meet him. In fact, he just greeted Shaka when he met face to face with her at school and passed by leaving her just like that. Shaka felt that he was no longer as cheerful as he used to be. Shaka feels Sherly has changed towards him.
So curious, Shaka then invited Bobi to talk during the break.
"Bob, you know what's wrong with Sherly?" ask Shaka.
"What's why?" answer Bobi.
"He seems to be indifferent to me, Bob. He was impressed to avoid me." said Shaka.
"Is he like that to you too, Bob?" ask Shaka.
"Well, she still smiled and greeted me as usual. Even he talked as usual." replied Bobi.
"There's something weird in my opinion, Shak" he continued.
"You don't ask him directly?" concluded.
"I've been trying to meet him. But he was hard to contact" Shaka said.
"My call was never answered, my message was answered only."
"I tried to play at his house, but it was always Bik Wulan who met me." he continued.
"Is he mad at me, Bob?" ask Shaka.
"Did he ever tell you about me?" continued.
Bobi kept silent and furrowed his eyebrows, a sign that he was trying to remember something.
"It looks like it's not, Shak." said Bobi.
Shaka was stunned in his seat when he heard Bobi's reply. He then shut up and tried to think. He's trying to figure out what happened to Sherly. Why would he do that to Shaka? What Shaka has done makes Sherly seem to hate him.
"Aren't you aware of something, Hak?" ask Bobi.
"What, Bob?" answer Shaka.
" As I said before, I think Sherly has feelings for you" Bobi said.
"Shak, if Sherly doesn't feel the same way about you. He won't like that." said Bobi.
"A girl would be normal if she didn't have a taste. But a girl will change if she has a taste." she added.
"Let's think about it, Shak." he continued, patting Shaka on the shoulder.
Shaka was silent at Bobi's words. He tried to reflect and understand the words of Bobi. He tried to string the words of Bobi with the behavior of Sherly so far. Finally Shaka understood a little and understood about the purpose of Bobi. It's just that he's still not sure about it.
Until finally after the lesson hours are over, Shaka wants to pass in front of class XII IPA - 1 when he wants to go to class Besty. He accidentally crosses the classroom just to see Sherly. He wants to know Sherly's condition.
As he crosses the classroom, he sees Sherly standing up and preparing to leave. Shaka stops his steps and continues to face Sherly. As Sherly walks out of class, her steps come to a halt when she sees Shaka through her classroom window. He was silent for a moment, then he continued his steps towards the exit of his class.
Arriving in front of the exit, he greeted Shaka who was standing in front of him.
"Hi, Shak." said Sherly as he passed from Shaka's presence.
Shaka then holds Sherly's hand until Sherly's steps come to a halt. Shaka then turned his body and looked at Sherly.
"What's wrong with you, Sher?" ask Shaka.
"That's all right" Sherly replied as she let go of Shaka's hand.
"Why do you keep dodging, Sher? Was I wrong with you." asked Shaka again.
"There is." Sherly replied flatly.
"I go home first, Shak" Sherly said as he left Shaka.
Shaka could only look at Sherly's departure with astonishment. He doesn't understand Sherly's attitude. She doesn't understand why Sherly has changed so much and is no longer as warm and familiar as she once was. Then Shaka continues his steps to go to Besty's class.
As usual, Besty waits for Shaka in front of her class. After Shaka came, Besty then smiled and stood up from her seat. He then took Shaka's hand to go together to the motorcycle parking area located in the corner of the school yard. After putting a helmet on Besty's head, Shaka then rode his motorcycle to drive Besty home. As he exits the school gate, Shaka sees a black BMW car stopping across the street. Shaka faintly saw a girl looking at them from the glass back door of the car. But Shaka knows who the owner of the car is and is certain that the girl is Sherly.
Along the way, Shaka was silent. Sometimes he answers smiling while answering Besty's questions. Arriving in front of Besty's house, Shaka got off his bike and delivered Besty to the front of the house.
"Why are you, Shak?" Kog being quiet?" ask Besty.
Shaka just fell silent at Besty's question. He wondered if he would tell what he had in mind or not. If he tells a story, he is afraid that Besty will misunderstand him but if he does not tell, he has already promised to start this relationship with a sense of honesty. Eventually Shaka decides to tell Besty everything.
Besty invites Shaka inside her house. After they sit on the sofabed in the living room and gulp the syrup from Bik Imah, Shaka tells the story of his friendship with Sherly from A to Z. He also recounts Sherly's strange attitude towards him lately. He just hopes that Sherly will be friends with him like before. She doesn't want Sherly to avoid her and stay away from her as she is today because she doesn't want to lose a friend like Sherly. Besty just smiled and kept silent at Shaka's story. He did not interrupt the slightest sentence per sentence that slid from Shaka's lips. He only told Shaka that Sherly must have had a certain reason why he behaved that way. Besty also said several possible reasons were underlying Sherly's attitude. Then Besty looks at Shaka's face and asks him to see Sherly in person. Shaka just silently heard Besty's words. He then looked at Besty and said :
"Are you sure I should see him?"
Besty just nodded her head while smiling.
"You'll know the answer, Shak." he added.
